Reviews: WOWPASS Card

This card makes exchanging cash so easy, especially since there are so many machines in Seoul, you won't have trouble finding one. Plus, there's an app that shows your real-time balance and information on promotions. Furthermore, the card integrates with the Tmoney transportation card, making it incredibly convenient and tourist-friendly. Anyone who frequently travels to Korea should definitely get one.

It was really nice! Obviously the variety is a little smaller if you book non-premium and there are not a lot of large sizes. The overall designs are very nice and the staff really lovely! The hairstyles are what you expect, very basic and quick. It was overfilled but they managed to take care of everyone. Would recommend it to foreigners since it's also one of the cheapest and closest options.

Reviews: Myeong-dong pass (with free gift)

Overall, my experience purchasing the Myeongdong Pass through Trip.com was quite good. The purchase process and actual use were smooth, making my trip to Korea much easier and more convenient. I had considered buying a similar pass to save time and money when planning my trip, and ultimately chose Trip.com mainly because of its clear interface, transparent pricing, and frequent coupons and discounts, which are very attractive to budget-conscious travelers. The purchase process was simple, requiring only a few steps. I received the e-voucher quickly after ordering, without any extra waiting or needing to exchange for a paper ticket, which was a huge plus. The e-voucher can be stored directly on my phone, allowing me to access it anytime without worrying about losing it – very convenient for travelers who prefer to manage everything on their phones. However, I recommend taking a screenshot or backing up the e-voucher beforehand to avoid being unable to access it due to network instability, for added peace of mind. Using the Myeongdong Pass in person, I also experienced its convenience. Whether you're making a purchase at participating stores or using related offers, simply presenting a QR code completes the process quickly and efficiently, without wasting much time. For first-time visitors to Myeongdong, this integrated pass helps you quickly familiarize yourself with the area and reduces the hassle of searching for deals everywhere. Furthermore, some stores offer genuinely attractive discounts, which can accumulate into substantial savings. Additionally, Trip's product pages usually include usage instructions and precautions, which are clear and comprehensive. A quick read before your trip can prevent most usage issues. Customer service response times are also satisfactory; you can generally get assistance if you encounter any problems, giving you more confidence in using the pass. Overall, purchasing the Myeongdong pass through Trip is a convenient and time-saving option, especially suitable for independent travelers or those who don't want to spend too much time planning details. While a little research is required before use, such as confirming participating stores and conditions, once prepared, the overall experience is smooth and worthwhile. I would be willing to purchase similar products through Trip again in the future.

Reviews: DMZ Day Trip: Third Tunnel/Dora Observatory/Imjingak/Includes Meeting with North Korean Defectors

Our tour guide was Yoon from Seoul City Tour and she was very funny. It's very apparent that she's a veteran as a tour guide, with great story telling skills. The information she gave was very interesting and told in an amusing manner. The tour itself was mostly interesting, especially the first part, Imjingak, 3rd Tunnel, and Dora Observatory. However, our last stop was the Reunification Village which was more of a short (sanitary) pitstop before heading back to Seoul, where they try to sell as much merch as they can to us tourists. We were lucky with the weather that we could still see a bit of North Korea at the observatory but it's a pity that the JSA tours are suspended indefinitely. I would have liked to visit the blue building from the south side this time. We had enough time at all the stops and I didn't feel rushed (which I read about with other tours). The one thing I didn't like was that our tour guide had to beg for good reviews.
