We really want to highlight the stunning views – the mountain is absolutely breathtaking, with fascinating geology all around. We were also very lucky with the weather. The tour finished earlier than expected, around 3:00 PM. In June, it wasn't actually cold on the mountain; we even took off our jackets, though the temperature was about 9.6°C. Still, we'd recommend renting oxygen canisters for an extra 20 yuan – it's better to have them just in case. Locals also suggest taking hemoglobin supplements before the ascent. Our driver contacted us in advance, picked us up a little later than planned, and came directly from the old town of Shuhe near our hotel.★

I traveled with my two kids age is eight and 10 and we were guided the whole way by a guide who spoke broken English, but enough to understand what needed to be done and get by. She was very helpful to my kids and make sure that we didn’t get lightheaded. She knew every way, took amazing photos for us, and led us to every destination smoothly. We literally went through all three seasons within a few hours, and she did everything with grace and calmness. As a parent to two young kids, I was very grateful for her! ★

One of the most enjoyable trips I've taken was to the Stone Forest, a historical site with breathtaking views among the rocks. The cave itself held surprises, such as a cable car, a boat ride on the river, waterfall views, and the opportunity to explore the cave's interior. The tour leader was incredibly helpful and patient despite our lack of language skills, explaining everything clearly. She also assisted me with non-tour-related matters like phone calls and other things.★

A huge thank you to Uncle Zaxi for his company and care throughout the trip! He patiently reminded us of precautions for traveling in the highlands before the trip, provided detailed introductions to local customs and traditions, ensured transparent pricing throughout, and had a perfectly planned itinerary. The ample free time allowed us to fully appreciate the scenery and visit unique sights.
The hot pot at the Tusi Banquet was rather ordinary, but the live music and dance performances were excellent, the atmosphere was lively, and the interactive activities were full of fun, making for a very good experience. When I was late for work, you were the first to help resolve the issue, ensuring I wasn't delayed. Your thoughtfulness and genuine warmth throughout the journey made us feel incredibly welcome. This driver was in charge of the entire trip, serving as both driver and professional tour guide. He drove smoothly and steadily, knew the roads well, and ensured a comfortable and safe ride throughout. He was very knowledgeable about local customs, traditions, and historical sites, providing engaging and entertaining commentary. He also proactively avoided crowded areas and recommended authentic local cuisine. He was kind and polite, flexible with the schedule, and never rushed the journey.
