There are not many places in China that can really be called ancient cities. Most of them are remodeled and imitated in the past. Daheihe Island, located on the Chinese side of the main channel of the Heilongjiang River, between the cities of Heihe and Blagoveshchensk, is a charming border island. Nature lovers can visit the Daheihe Island Botanical Garden, home to dozens of cold-weather tree species and a rich birdlife. The island's National Flag Square is also worth a visit. Its 56.74-meter-tall flagpole, hoisting China's largest flag, is a truly impressive sight. In short, Daheihe Island combines natural scenery, cultural landscape, commerce and entertainment, and is a must-visit place for Heihe tourism.

The trees here are tall and thin, there is not much moss on the trees (probably because I didn't go too deep), and there is not much vegetation cover on the surface. These two points are simple signs to judge whether the forest has been growing for a long time.

According to the staff of Amur National Wetland Park, there are 195 species of wild animals (vertebrates) in 59 families in the park area. The site of the birthplace of the Xianbei people, a national cultural relic, is an hour's drive from Jiamusi. Generally, few long-distance tourists come here, unless they are interested in history and geography. It is a very underestimated attraction.

The exhibition theme of the Heihe Educated Youth Museum is that Chinese educated youth and the Republic share the same fate. Heilongjiang was one of the provinces with the highest concentration of educated youth at that time, and Heihe is the region with the largest number of educated youth in Heilongjiang Province. The museum comprehensively tells the glorious history of decades since the first batch of educated youth in the country reclaimed the Great Northern Wilderness in 1955 in the form of event description. The exterior of the Educated Youth Museum is based on red, which reminds us of the fiery youth years. When we entered the museum, we met a group of educated youth elders who revisited the old place. Some of them brought their children. We also followed their steps and listened to them tell their children. Combined with the exhibits in the museum, we were very touched. The exhibition is divided into seven parts: Going to the vast world together, composing a shining youth, Phoenix rising from the ashes, bitter memories, the road back to the city, the backbone since the reform and opening up, and the feelings between the two places. Every generation has its own youthful memories, and the Border City Heihe Educated Youth Museum presents a 27-year-long youth picture scroll with real pictures and real deeds.
