Phaselis Archaeological Site
In the picturesque Kemer district of Antalya, lies an ancient city steeped in rich history—Phaselis Archaeological Site. Once a thriving Roman port, it is also an ideal place to enjoy the sun and waves. Historical footprints: The city's history dates back to the 7th century BC. It was an ancient Lycian city located on the shores of the charming Phaselis Bay. Here, you can see the ruins of a theater, three agoras, a magnificent aqueduct, and two bathhouses, and experience the civilization and wisdom they embody. To protect and preserve this precious historical heritage, excavation, restoration, and maintenance work are carried out at the ancient city every year. In 2024, an altar building believed to be dedicated to Apollo was unearthed here, along with male and lion statues and small votive figurines dating back to the 7th–6th centuries BC, marking an extremely rare archaeological discovery. Coastal charm: In summer, the Phaselis Archaeological Site is also a natural gem. Many cruise ships and yachts anchor in the bay next to the site. Ship motifs decorate the city's ports and agoras, inviting you to set sail and fully enjoy the comfort and relaxation brought by the cool seawater. Kaleici Old Town
Kaleici Old Town is located in the city center of Antalya and has a history of over 2,000 years. It has been ruled by various civilizations, including Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, the Byzantine Empire, the Seljuk Empire, and the Ottoman Empire, with its street layout and architectural style bearing the marks of these different civilizations. Hadrian's Gate is the iconic entrance to Kaleici Old Town, built to commemorate the visit of the Roman Emperor Hadrian. The three marble arches are flanked by towers, and the cobblestone pavement beneath the gate still clearly shows the ruts and hoof prints from ancient times. After passing through the gate, Ottoman-style stone houses with red roofs and white walls are scattered along the slopes, and narrow alleys wind upwards, with mosque domes and minarets visible from time to time. The Tekeli Mehmet Pasha Mosque in the district, built in the 17th century, features typical Ottoman architectural style; the clock tower with a pentagonal base stands on the ancient city walls, with its foundation dating back to the Byzantine period and the upper clock tower added later, making it one of the striking landmarks of Kaleici Old Town today. The Old Roman Harbor is located at the southern end of the district and was once an important maritime transport hub in the Eastern Mediterranean. Today, it is docked with yachts and fishing boats, and the azure harbor water and layers of red roofs form a classic scene of Antalya. The alleys in the northern part of the old town are perfect for a quiet stroll, where you can see old houses covered in vines and scattered craft shops along the way. [Scenery] Nak Canyon is a wonderful place to discover nature, the old hydroelectric power station and most of the great rivers in the St. Lawrence River made me understand why Samuel de Campland's wife was attracted by so many beautiful views.

Kaleiçi is the historic old town core of Antalya, Turkey, and it is absolutely worth a half-day or full-day visit if you want a break from all-inclusive resort life. There are a lot of wonderful cafes and restaurants where you can enjoy delicious local meals.It is worth visiting 💯
