Facing the Mediterranean Sea, it has long served as a hub for local navigation, fishing, and yacht mooring, and is now an important part of the Cannes cityscape and coastal life. A variety of vessels, from traditional fishing boats to private yachts, are moored here, lining the harbor and creating a scene with distinct Mediterranean character. The Palais des Festivals (Palais des Festivals de Cannes) was built in 1982 and is an important meeting place for the Cannes Film Festival. The Palais des Festivals has a capacity of 30,000 people, excellent sound facilities, and besides being the official venue of the festival, it also contains many business conference halls. It is said that the carpet on the steps of the Palais des Festivals is red only when there is an event, and blue at other times. So if you come across a festival, don't forget to take pictures on the steps covered with red carpets to experience the taste of being a star. Visitors still have a better chance of seeing a red carpet than a blue one, as the Palais des Festivals is not idle for most of the year. Every year, there is the Acacia Festival in February, the International Film Festival in May, and the Music Festival and Fireworks Festival in July. In addition, there are fixed festivals such as the International Boat Festival, the International Music and Record Festival, the Mimosa Festival, and the Dance Festival. Under such a dense schedule, if you want to use the Palais des Festivals, you need to book two years in advance.Cannes · 2.9km from Le Cannet

Cannes Walk of Fame is a must-visit attraction in Cannes, located next to the Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes. You can see handprints of over 300 stars on the sidewalk here, which draws many film enthusiasts and tourists. There are far fewer handprints in Cannes than on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in the United States, but you can find director Wong Kar-wai's handprint on the Cannes Walk of Fame, right at the entrance of the Cannes convention center. It features the three English letters WKW, which are the initials of Wong Kar-wai's name in Cantonese pinyin.Cannes · 2.8km from Le Cannet

Grasse, the city of perfume, is a small mountain town in the northwest of Nice. It is named after the perfume manufacturing industry and has the title of "City of Art and History". There are no less than 30 perfume factories in the small town, surrounded by flower fields of lavender, jasmine, rose, orange blossom and violet, which are used as raw materials for perfume making. Jasmine, a key ingredient in many perfumes, was brought to southern France by the Moors in the 16th century. Grasse hosts the "Jasmine Festival" (Fêted du Jasmin or La Jasminade) every year in early August. In Grasse, the following popular attractions should not be missed: Fragonard Perfume Factory is located in the city of Grasse. It was built in 1926 and is the oldest perfumery in Grasse. The different laboratories and workshops demonstrate the various steps involved in making perfumes. In addition, there is a unique exhibition featuring rare items from the five thousand years of development of the perfume industry. International Perfume Museum The Perfume Museum is a 14th-century castle that preserves exquisite perfume bottles and perfume-making machines from various periods. The pavilion is divided into five sections, representing the five continents and their different contemporary cultures. Also very worth seeing. The Museum of Art and History of Provence exhibits many antique furniture, traditional costumes, archaeological remains and many precious perfume bottles donated by the locals of Grasse.Grasse · 12km from Le Cannet

A Winter's Glow Over the Bay of Angels The winter glow of Nice is a visual feast not to be missed. At dawn, the Bay of Angels is covered with a thin layer of snow, its fine white sand and pebble beaches half pure white and half deep black. As the first rays of sunlight pierce through the clouds, the entire bay is instantly bathed in a warm orange-gold hue, the sea shimmering like it's been sprinkled with diamonds. The colorful old buildings, illuminated by the glow and snow, take on an oil painting-like quality. Warm yellow walls and pale pink roofs appear even more gentle under the snow, while the silhouettes of palm trees are outlined with graceful lines in the golden light. The waves gently lap against the shore, creating a soft, pattering sound, and together with the snow-covered Castle Hill in the distance, a breathtaking scene. This romance is not always available; the once-in-a-decade snowfall and the perfectly timed glow combine to create this uniquely Mediterranean gentleness. Standing on the streets of Anglo-Saxon, watching the golden sunlight gradually melt the snow, you'll understand that Nice's winter is more worthwhile than you might imagine.

The Film Palace is famous for the Cannes Film Festival. I saw it on TV and thought it was very grand, but when I actually got there, I was a little disappointed. It was not during the film festival, and the Film Palace looked very plain and small. The red carpet road only took 2 minutes to walk, and the surrounding area was not very big.

When talking about Cannes, the first thing that comes to mind is the red carpet and the movie palace. However, the actual movie red carpet palace is not very big. It looks particularly big every year when there are no cameras and tourists! In Cannes without a film festival, the red carpet is a market, a place for people to communicate!

As the name suggests, it's an area with an old-fashioned feel. There are a lot of delicious restaurants. In particular, there were a lot of famous gelato shops, so people were waiting in line. ☺️

It is said that the British choose the Bay of Angels in Nice as their best holiday destination to escape the cold winter, hence the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. The entire 5km long promenade is adjacent to the Bay of Angels and is decorated with palm trees all year round.

This is a place that is worth visiting. First, because of its unique natural landscape, people can always walk in the scenery and become part of it. Second, it is very suitable for self-driving, and there are no highway tolls. Third, the parks and attractions are still free.

The Croisette in Cannes is a famous seaside street. It feels romantic to walk, run or do nothing here. Because there are usually bars across the street, it feels very relaxing.
