Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes (Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes) was built in 1982 and is an important venue for the Cannes Film Festival, where the prestigious Palme d'Or is awarded. Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes can accommodate 30,000 people and features excellent audio facilities. In addition to being the official venue for the film festival, it also contains many business conference halls. It is said that the carpet on the steps here is only red when there is an event, and it is blue at other times. So, if you happen to be there during an event, don't forget to take a photo on the steps covered with the red carpet and experience what it's like to be a star. Visitors have a better chance of seeing the red carpet than the blue one, because this Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes is rarely idle for most of the year. Every year, there is the Acacia Festival in February, the International Film Festival in May, and the Music Festival and Fireworks Festival in July. In addition, there are other regular festivals such as the International Yachting Festival, the International Music and Record Festival, the Mimosa Festival, and the Dance Festival. With such a dense schedule, if you want to use the Palace of Festivals and Congresses of Cannes, you need to book two years in advance to have a chance.Cannes · 2.9km from Le Cannet

Grasse, the city of perfume, is a small mountain town in the northwest of Nice. It is named after the perfume manufacturing industry and has the title of "City of Art and History". There are no less than 30 perfume factories in the small town, surrounded by flower fields of lavender, jasmine, rose, orange blossom and violet, which are used as raw materials for perfume making. Jasmine, a key ingredient in many perfumes, was brought to southern France by the Moors in the 16th century. Grasse hosts the "Jasmine Festival" (Fêted du Jasmin or La Jasminade) every year in early August. In Grasse, the following popular attractions should not be missed: Fragonard Perfume Factory is located in the city of Grasse. It was built in 1926 and is the oldest perfumery in Grasse. The different laboratories and workshops demonstrate the various steps involved in making perfumes. In addition, there is a unique exhibition featuring rare items from the five thousand years of development of the perfume industry. International Perfume Museum The Perfume Museum is a 14th-century castle that preserves exquisite perfume bottles and perfume-making machines from various periods. The pavilion is divided into five sections, representing the five continents and their different contemporary cultures. Also very worth seeing. The Museum of Art and History of Provence exhibits many antique furniture, traditional costumes, archaeological remains and many precious perfume bottles donated by the locals of Grasse.Grasse · 12km from Le Cannet

Strolling through Vauban Harbour, you're greeted by weathered city walls on one side and endless blue waters on the other. White nomadic sculptures silently watch over the harbor, while yachts gently moor on the surface—a tranquil and idyllic scene that perfectly captures the essence of southern France.

A Winter's Glow Over the Bay of Angels The winter glow of Nice is a visual feast not to be missed. At dawn, the Bay of Angels is covered with a thin layer of snow, its fine white sand and pebble beaches half pure white and half deep black. As the first rays of sunlight pierce through the clouds, the entire bay is instantly bathed in a warm orange-gold hue, the sea shimmering like it's been sprinkled with diamonds. The colorful old buildings, illuminated by the glow and snow, take on an oil painting-like quality. Warm yellow walls and pale pink roofs appear even more gentle under the snow, while the silhouettes of palm trees are outlined with graceful lines in the golden light. The waves gently lap against the shore, creating a soft, pattering sound, and together with the snow-covered Castle Hill in the distance, a breathtaking scene. This romance is not always available; the once-in-a-decade snowfall and the perfectly timed glow combine to create this uniquely Mediterranean gentleness. Standing on the streets of Anglo-Saxon, watching the golden sunlight gradually melt the snow, you'll understand that Nice's winter is more worthwhile than you might imagine.

The Film Palace is famous for the Cannes Film Festival. I saw it on TV and thought it was very grand, but when I actually got there, I was a little disappointed. It was not during the film festival, and the Film Palace looked very plain and small. The red carpet road only took 2 minutes to walk, and the surrounding area was not very big.

When talking about Cannes, the first thing that comes to mind is the red carpet and the movie palace. However, the actual movie red carpet palace is not very big. It looks particularly big every year when there are no cameras and tourists! In Cannes without a film festival, the red carpet is a market, a place for people to communicate!

As the name suggests, it's an area with an old-fashioned feel. There are a lot of delicious restaurants. In particular, there were a lot of famous gelato shops, so people were waiting in line. ☺️

It is said that the British choose the Bay of Angels in Nice as their best holiday destination to escape the cold winter, hence the Promenade des Anglais in Nice. The entire 5km long promenade is adjacent to the Bay of Angels and is decorated with palm trees all year round.

This is a place that is worth visiting. First, because of its unique natural landscape, people can always walk in the scenery and become part of it. Second, it is very suitable for self-driving, and there are no highway tolls. Third, the parks and attractions are still free.
