24 Hours of Le Mans is located in Le Mans, Sarthe, in northwestern France, and is the site of the world-famous Le Mans 24-hour endurance race, regarded as a global sanctuary of endurance racing. It condenses nearly a century of motorsport memory, and each generation of race cars is tested here, driving the evolution of rules and technology. Visiting 24 Hours of Le Mans outside race periods still lets you feel the strong racing atmosphere. Because most sections of the circuit are public roads, visitors can follow signs and maps to drive or cycle the full outline of the Le Mans circuit, imagining the race's tense rhythm between braking zones, corners, and long straights. During the event, Le Mans at night is especially enchanting—the track becomes a ribbon of light in the dark, linked by headlights and corner lighting, and the roar of engines echoes through the woods and countryside, offering spectators a sensory experience completely different from daytime events like F1.Le Mans · 5.6km from downtown

Next to the world-famous Le Mans track is the Porsche Experience Center. We were lucky enough to come here to experience it for a day, and the owner of the experience center gave us a more than one-hour explanation. We also experienced VR driving, Porsche restaurant, driving a Porsche on the track, and a strong sense of push back. It's so classic.

The name of the old town Cité plangenêt comes from the Plantagenet dynasty of England. The founder of the dynasty, Henry II, was born in the Count's Palace of Le Mans, which is now the town hall. The 8-meter-high city wall with stone cladding and special stripes, the public baths in the ancient Roman period, and the St. Julian's Cathedral are still well preserved. Along the river bank, you can see the whole picture of the old town and the only well-preserved ancient Roman city wall in Europe. There are famous craftsmen from all over Europe in the old town, as well as small shops collecting various artworks. The old town is considered to be the best place to shoot medieval movie scenes. The dreamy night of lights every summer allows you to experience a wonderful journey through time.

The museum is worth visiting. The winning cars from the 1920s to 2000 are on display, as well as models of cars that participated in the competition and the top three winning models. The transportation is not very convenient. For me who don't have a car, I chose Tram T1 line to get off at Guetteloup-Pole Sante Sud station and walked 28 minutes to the museum. The transportation in Le Mans is really... But there are few foreigners, which is understandable.

The Cathedral of St. Julian is worth a visit. It is pure, original and authentic. It took more than 500 years from the 11th century to the 16th century to build. It has gone through many dynasties and architects, thus forming a diverse architectural style, but it is also harmonious and colorful. Walking into the church is quiet, solemn, and the grand building complex is amazing!
