U Bein Bridge is located near the ancient city of Amara Pura, across East Taman Lake, with a total length of about 1.2 kilometers. It is the longest teak bridge in the world. It was built in the period of King Mindong of the Gongbang Dynasty. The piers, bridges, and wooden boards for paving the bridge were all made of precious teak, which has survived centuries of wind and rain and is immortal. Every sunset, there will be people coming and going on U Bein Bridge, you can take a walk on U Bein Bridge before sunset. There are six pavilions at the head of the bridge, the middle of the bridge and the tail of the bridge, which symbolize the "Six Harmonies" of Buddhism. It is said that when the locals are in love, they will travel thousands of miles to climb the bridge, praying for the eternal preservation of these six spirits of harmony and mutual respect, so that the love will last longer. If you are tired of walking, there are places selling palm juice, coconut juice and other drinks under the bridge, as well as small handicrafts. When the sun sets in the west, U Bein Bridge is dyed orange by the afterglow of the setting sun, and the silhouette of dead trees by the lake is very meaningful. You also have the chance to encounter red-clothed monks and colorful-clothed girls walking across the bridge in groups. There are piers at both ends of the bridge and in the middle of the bridge. Many tourists will take wooden boats to cruise the lake, watch the sunset from a distance, and take pictures of the classic U Bein Bridge at dusk. It is recommended to arrive at U Bein Bridge earlier, walk from one end of the bridge to the other end (about half an hour), and then take a boat to watch the sunset while returning, you can experience the beauty of U Bein Bridge from different perspectives. The sunset of U Bein Bridge is beautiful, but there are more tourists. If you want to feel a little more life, you can come here in the early morning to watch the sunrise, not only the scenery is beautiful, but there are also fewer people.Mandalay · 9.6km from downtown

The Golden Palace Monastery is one of the rare pure teak monasteries in Mandalay, located not far to the south of the Kudu Tao Pagoda. This building is not only an example of traditional Burmese wooden architecture, but also witnesses a royal story. At the beginning, this building was located in the palace, which was the bedroom of King Mindong and the queen, and King Mindong died here. Mandalay Hill is located in the north of the city of Mandalay and was known as Rakshasa Mountain in the past. This is also the highest hill in Mandalay, with an altitude of 231.6 meters. Standing on the top of the hill, you can overlook the entire city of Mandalay, and it is a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset. The main entrance to Mandalay Hill is on the south side, and there are several temples and pagodas at the foot of the hill that are worth visiting, attracting many tourists and devotees. For example, the Kudu Tao Pagoda and Sandamuni Pagoda, which are famous for their Buddhist scriptures, are also nearby. There are also beautifully carved golden palace teak temples, etc. It is recommended to visit along the way. There are two steps to go up the mountain, the more obvious one is between two huge sculptures of Sint (the guardian beast of half lion and half dragon), which requires climbing 1729 steps to reach the top. In the process of climbing, you can slowly appreciate the urban landscape of Mandalay and the beauty of the Ayeyarwady River from low to high, and there are various temples along the way. Another step is on the southeast side, which is a bit longer, but offers more vistas. The two climbing routes will intersect and lead to a hall with a huge standing Buddha, which stretches out its arms and points to the Mandalay Palace below the mountain. Continue to walk up the mountain, you will also see the ruins of the stone castle, the statue of the SanDhaMukhi banshee and other relics. Come to the top of Mandalay Hill, where there is a Hindu temple, the Sutaungpyei Pagoda, whose wall columns are inlaid with broken glass and glow in the sun. There is a terrace in the temple, which is a good place to watch the panoramic view of Mandalay City. Many tourists will come to watch the sunset in the evening. It is recommended to arrive half an hour before sunset. If you think that watching the sunset is too crowded, watching the sunrise in the morning is also a good choice.Mandalay · 5km from downtown

Sandamuni is a snow-white phalanx of Tallinn at the southern foot of Mandalay Mountain. In the center is a large golden pagoda, and there is a small golden pagoda beside it. The bells on each tower jingled with the wind. The entire layout is basically symmetrical in four directions, like a continuous white square. This temple was built in 1866 by King Mindong in memory of his murdered younger brother to express his condolences. There are also many stone tablets of the Tripitaka scriptures similar to the Kudutao Pagoda can be seen here. Sitting in the center of the temple, looking at the white pagoda, I feel that the white and pure eyes are a wish to return to the void and indifference. What can't be concealed is the sadness that cannot be forgotten. It is a kind of fragility, but also a kind of softness; it is a kind of self-exile, and it is also a real power to infect the soul.Mandalay · 4.2km from downtown

Mahaganayan Monastery is located at the head of U Bein Bridge and is the largest monastery in the area. It is like a monk's school with nearly 2,000 students. Every day at 10:00 am, tourists from all over the world gather here to witness the scene of a thousand monks having lunch together, which is shocking. The monks here only eat two meals a day, one at 4 o'clock in the morning and the other at 10 o'clock in the morning. As for the monks' meals, there are meat and vegetables, such as chicken, duck, fish, fruits and vegetables, and tea and drinks. Because the local monks can eat meat, under normal circumstances, they can eat whatever they get for alms.Amarapura · 816m from downtown

As soon as I arrived at the entrance, I saw the words "UNESCO has included it in the World Cultural Heritage". Because the rows of pagodas inside enshrine 729 stone tablets with densely engraved Buddhist scriptures. Each pagoda enshrines a stone tablet. The first day's scenic spot, I experienced the feeling of walking barefoot.

The entire building was originally located in the royal palace, but because his successor avoided the taboo of King Mindon's death, the entire building was moved to its current location and became a monastery. The original site was in the Mandalay Palace. King Mindon of the Konbaung Dynasty died here, and his son moved the entire building here to avoid the taboo of King Mindon's death.

The Sandamuni Temple and the Kukto Pagoda are very similar, and they are so close in location that I couldn't tell the difference between the two places. They both require white pagodas, which are definitely a must-visit place for artistic and fresh tourists. The rows of white pagodas along the way are a must-see for photography enthusiasts. I saw many excellent photos on tripadvisor, but it was a pity that it was cloudy and rainy on the day of the visit, which ruined the scenery. Even in the dry season, it still has a chance of raining.

Just look at them from a distance or take a photo of their backs. I object to some people suddenly grabbing a monk and taking photos of others, then walking away without saying thank you! Different worlds, respect each other! What a sense of setting!

The pagoda is a very sacred place. The structure of the pyramid is also quite interesting. There are also some very interesting things on the pagoda. This building is quite independent. You can see many beautiful things nearby.

Xiyingbin Monastery is an elegant wooden monastery located between the city center and Mahamuni Pagoda. Its history can be traced back to 1895, when it was funded by a wealthy Chinese jade merchant. The general structure of the monastery feels similar to that of the teak temple, but its exquisite carvings seem to be even better. After more than a hundred years of ups and downs, the appearance has completely turned brown and black, but the exquisite wood carvings are still clearly visible and highlight its solemnity! There are not many tourists here, so you can calm down and appreciate it slowly and carefully! Such complex and exquisite wood carvings I don’t know how many craftsmen spent their craftsmanship back then!

There is a famous attraction in the ancient city of Mingun in Myanmar, that is the Mingun Bell. Not far from the Mingun Pagoda is the world's largest bell still in use - the Mingun Bell. It is 8 meters high, 5 meters in diameter, and weighs 90.55 tons. You can give a small donation to the person who takes care of the bell, or you can ring the bell yourself with a wooden stick.
