Tanzania 🇹🇿 - Serengeti
Serengeti National Park
"Serengeti" means "boundless plains" in Maasai. Covering an area of 25,063 square kilometers, it is home to over 400,000 wildebeest and zebras. Their pursuit of water leads to the Great Migration, a series of endless circles across the Serengeti plains.
The Serengeti National Park and its surrounding area are home to one of the world's most concentrated populations of lions. There are approximately 3,000 to 3,500 lions in the Serengeti region. These lions are distributed across Tanzania's Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Kenya's Maasai Mara.
