Buyuk Han

The Cyprus Museum

The Cyprus Museum, also called the Archaeological Museum, is located outside the city walls near the Paphos Gate. There are a total of six or seven exhibition halls in the museum, displaying some antiquities from prehistoric to modern times. There are pottery, sculptures and 9000-year-old tomb treasures that are worth seeing.

Selimiye Mosque

Once the main church of Hagia Sophia, the building is magnificent and awe-inspiring. It was built in 1209-1326 and was once a Frankish cathedral.

Kyrenia Gate

Bellapais Abbey

Bellapas Monastery is located near Kyrenia, a Turkish-controlled area of Cyprus. Built between 1198 and 1205, this Gothic building has a history of more than 800 years. The monastery built on the hillside consists of the main hall, the cloister, the garden, the underground restaurant and the pulpit. Today, it has become one of the main tourist attractions in Northern Cyprus, and foreign tourists come here all year round.
