USS Wisconsin BB-64
USS Wisconsin (BB-64) is the fourth and final Iowa-class battleship completed by the US Navy, commissioned in 1944 . Displacing 58,000 tons at full load, she is armed with nine 406mm main guns in three turrets, with a range of 42 km. She served in WWII (Philippines, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and bombardment of Japan), the Korean War (shore bombardment), and fired the first shot of Operation Desert Storm in 1991 . Decommissioned in September 1991, she is now a museum ship docked in Norfolk, Virginia, open to the public.This is a battleship that has participated in World War II, the Korean War, and the Gulf War.
