Jama - Grotta Baredine
Jama - Grotta Baredine is located in Gedići near Porec in Istria County, Croatia, and is a typical karst cave as well as a protected geomorphological natural monument. Formed by long-term groundwater erosion, the cave contains abundant stalactites, stalagmites, and calcite deposits that have created diverse natural views over time. The cave has a total depth of about 132m, and the visitor route currently extends about 60m underground. The route passes through 5 cave halls, offering a close-up look at the underground karst environment. It also holds significant value for natural science education, as the underground habitat is home to local endemic species such as the olm (Proteus anguinus). The temperature inside the cave remains around 14°C year-round. Visitors must walk about 270 steps to complete the tour. A full tour typically lasts about 40 minutes and includes guided commentary by staff. Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore

I highly recommend it. Purchase through Trip. Upon arrival, go to the ticket office and they'll print out a paper QR code for you to enter through the turnstile. Bring water shoes (aqua shoes), as the paths get hot in the sun and aren't comfortable to walk on. We rode the slides in aqua shoes.

Because it is not a weekend, there are very few people. The price is reasonable, better than in the country

The queue was quite long, and you need to make sure you're in the correct line before you start queuing… Queues at tourist attractions in Europe often consist of several separate lines with unclear signage. I didn't choose to climb the bell tower or the dome, but the museum included in the ticket is worth a good look; personally, I felt the environment was quite nice.

such a lovely place, the duomo or cathedral is very big that I cannot take a picture of the whole cathedral. Even if I have seen it several times I always love to visit and see it again and again.

The explanation was incredibly detailed and insightful; it truly lives up to its reputation as a World Heritage Site. Thank you to the Medici family for their wise decision to leave us such priceless treasures. Exploring the world on foot, I successfully checked off this charming and artistically rich ancient city. I love it! 😻
