Things to do in Rui'an

As the evening breeze caresses the Wenrui River, one can experience the romantic nighttime atmosphere of Wenzhou. The city lights gradually illuminate the scene, ancient bridges lean against the flowing water, and old buildings with white walls and gray tiles gaze at the distant city lights. Layers of shimmering light float on the river's surface as boats glide by, shattering the sparkling reflections.

梧田老街是温州一个新晋的网红打卡点。这儿一点儿都不输五马街。整个梧田老街景区是完全免费的。里面道路纵横交错。小桥流水，古风古韵。明清时期名为吴田氏，现如今也是热闹非常。梧田老街整体风格延续温瑞塘河两侧的骑楼民居特色。青砖黛瓦，水路环绕。形成水路环绕的六大岛区。老街设置了七景，还有很多温州特色的小吃。

On a sunny day, I came to the famous Yuhai Tower and started a journey full of cultural heritage. Yuhai Tower is located in Ruian City and is a well-preserved Qing Dynasty library. When you step into the gate, the first thing that comes into view is a quiet courtyard with blue bricks paved on the ground, simple and elegant. The courtyard is shaded by green trees and filled with fragrance, as if the time was frozen a hundred years ago. Walking along the stone road, you will come to the main building of Yuhai Tower. This library has flying eaves and brackets, antique style, and is full of the charm of Jiangnan architecture. There are a large number of ancient rare books on display in the building, each of which carries a deep history and culture. I carefully flipped through these precious books, as if I could feel the love and persistence of my ancestors for knowledge. In the backyard of Yuhai Tower, there is a small garden. The rockery in the garden is green, the pool water is clear, and several red carps swim leisurely in the water. Walking through it, I felt as if I was in a paradise, far away from the hustle and bustle of the world. After visiting Yuhai Tower, I was filled with emotion. This is not only a library, but also a palace of culture. It has witnessed the changes of history and inherited the essence of culture. The trip to Yuhai Tower gave me a deeper understanding and respect for traditional culture.

🌞 I'm in Wenzhou! With no plans, I just casually wandered around and stumbled upon the famous Wuma Street. It's a bit like the bustling Nanjing Road in Shanghai, but a bit more gentle and slower. 🏛️ The buildings lining the street are Baroque-style buildings from the Republican era. The sunlight dappled the facades, creating a beautiful, mottled effect. While walking, I came across the magnificent bronze statue of "Five Galloping Horses." It was truly breathtaking!✨ There's also the First Department Store and century-old shops—it's like you can smell the scent of bygone times. 📍 Address: Wuma Street, Lucheng District, Wenzhou (between Jiefang Street and Fuqian Street) ⏰ Hours: Open all day, feel free to stroll around. 🪶 Fun Fact: Wuma Street got its name from the fact that when Wang Xizhi of the Eastern Jin Dynasty traveled, the street was wide enough to accommodate five horses galloping side by side. Isn't that quite poetic? ⸻ 🐎 1️⃣ Five Galloping Horses Bronze Statue The bronze horses looked particularly imposing in the sunlight, and many people stopped to take photos. On a clear day, the light and shadows on the horses made them look like they were galloping, so dynamic! 🏮 2️⃣ Chan Street Archway The archway of the New Guoguang Building is easily recognizable from afar. Further in, you can see the Jingguang Pagoda on Songtai Mountain. I happened to be there during sunset, and the warm light was incredibly beautiful. 📸 🏛️ 3️⃣ Baroque Buildings Every corner offers a great photo opportunity. The Republican-era-style exterior walls glow golden in the sunlight during the day and warm in the light at night. Wherever you walk by, you'll feel like you've traveled back in time. 🎭 4️⃣ Ancient Theater The bluestone pavement, carved stone figures, and the archway across the street are all incredibly exquisite. The ancient stage and modern architecture juxtaposed side by side create a wonderful contrast, a truly Wenzhou-inspired experience. ⸻ 🚶‍♀ I didn't take the train~ I preferred to walk slowly, take photos, and enjoy snacks. No rush, no set route. Just let my feet take me wherever I want to go.💭

大罗山真是周末逃离城市的好去处！天河水库碧绿如玉，龙脊奇石如巨龙腾空，花岗岩地貌壮观又奇特，随手一拍都是大片。这里是温州城郊的山水秘境，也是不折不扣的人少景美的小众景点，看高峡出平湖，觉心旷而神怡。

I went to Jingshan Park on the weekend and visited the Huguo Temple. It was beautiful inside. It was very comfortable and fresh. The incense in the temple always gave people a very peaceful feeling.

I've been here before and I want to come again. Ruian is still very beautiful. ✌️

San'an Wetland is so big that it has only been developed a little bit, but this little bit is enough to spend a whole morning. The air in San'an Wetland is really good, and it is worthy of being called the green lung of the city, especially in the early morning. Every breath of oxygen is like eating Tang Monk's meat, which can make people feel long-lived. Although there is nothing fun to play in it at present, after experiencing it here, you can feel that the future here is full of huge imagination space, very beautiful, and with a strong sense of artistic conception. In the future, it will definitely be the most representative place to come to Wenzhou, and I look forward to seeing the charm and shock that nature brings us next time.

My second visit to West Lake was great; the boat tour was excellent. The dock was easy to find, the staff were very friendly, provided clear explanations, and helped with any issues. There were also sightseeing buses, which were nice but a bit pricey. Taking the boat tour and then walking around was both perfectly fine.
