Things to do in Ruyuan

The scenery at the mountaintop was beautiful. Since we had stayed at a mountain resort before, our package ticket allowed us to enter the park twice, so we were able to experience all the attractions. The glass bridge and waterfall are among the best in the province – thumbs up! The roller coaster ride was an excellent experience. We'll definitely come back sometime.

This was our first time visiting this scenic area. The bamboo rafting experience in the canyon wasn't great; there weren't many eye-catching spots along the way, but the Fairy Gate was quite nice.

Unexpectedly, such a fairyland is hidden deep in the mountains of Shaoguan, Guangdong. Various waterfalls gently cascade into emerald pools, creating a picturesque scene in the rain; the most special is the Tenglong Waterfall, over 200 meters high, which plunges down from the sky, a truly magnificent sight! If the facilities were a bit better, it would definitely be a popular tourist attraction…

There are many Yunmen temples in China, but the ancestral temple of the Yunmen School of Zen Buddhism is in Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County, Guangdong Province, which has the greatest value in religious culture, historical relics and natural landscapes.

A Seven-Character Quatrain on Viewing Five Finger Peak A magnificent sight in Chenzhou, Five Finger Peak soars to the heavens. A towering cliff holds up the azure sky, a thousand layers of verdant ravines rise in layers of peaks. Dense forests hang upside down on the cliff edge, a light mist lingers around the majestic mountain peak. Many visitors rush to climb the stone plank road, but I alone stand quietly at the foot of the cliff.

Lanshanyuan Lingnan Oriental Hot Spring is a perfect place for a relaxing vacation. With its beautiful environment, excellent hot springs, and superb service, it's suitable for both family and friends. Highly recommended!

Yunmenshan Water Park is a true summer escape in northern Guangdong! This 25,000-square-meter Caribbean-themed park, powered by natural mountain spring water, features over ten exciting and relaxing water attractions, including a giant horn, a sky-high spinner, and a wave pool. We arrived at 3:00 PM and had a blast with our kids for an hour on the Caribbean Water Castle's slides and water gun area. Then, the whole family experienced the weightless thrill of the vertical slide, followed by the refreshing lapping of the waves in the wave pool. At 6:00 PM, the night show opens, creating a dreamy atmosphere with lights and splashing water. At this time, crowds decrease, allowing guests to enjoy popular attractions like the rainbow slide until closing time. The park boasts thoughtful design details, including lockers that can be used by scanning a QR code, and changing rooms equipped with sanitized slippers and warm showers. The surrounding Yunmenshan Resort also offers access to attractions like the glass bridge and the pet park, creating a combined "water carnival and mountain adventure" experience. If you are looking for the ultimate experience, it is recommended to reserve 6-8 hours, so that you can try all the water activities, check in the surrounding landscapes, and enjoy a three-dimensional holiday experience from cool water play to walking in the clouds.

Beautiful scenery, interesting place, love it here!

It was really a great day! We went for the afternoon and were tired but it was so worth it. As foreigners travelling to china, it really is easy to get to places like this attraction. Jumped in a didi to get there, used Alipay , used Alipay to scan and pay for snacks there. All fairly simple. One thing I'll say is that even if you don't normally like zoos or aquariums, this is a lot bigger than you'd expect. More space than one would think there would be for the animals. We didn't watch the animal shows, that wasn't our cup of tea, but we enjoyed viewing a 5D show towards the end of the day, and saw two parades. China doesn't do things by halves. Ladies just keep in mind you will unlikely find a western style toilet. We only spotted squattys.
