Things to do in Solvang

The park is divided into upper and lower sections. While the foot traffic isn't huge, buying a Fastpass (FP) enhances the experience. The Studio Tour, as Universal Studios LA's most iconic attraction, is unique to Universal Studios and cannot be experienced at other locations. Sitting at the back of the bus is recommended for a more enjoyable experience.

It felt a little different from Disney Resort in Japan! It was exciting to ride Cars, a ride that doesn't exist in Japan!

Ticketing is convenient and quick. The world's first Disney park is a bit old, and the castle looks somewhat shabby, but it's the first one! The fun atmosphere remains undiminished, and the food prices inside the park are reasonable, similar to those outside, and the taste is also good. Visiting both parks in one day is perfectly feasible.

This place is worth the visit. I will go again but with my daughter dor the second time. My innee child is sooo happy

Its a beautiful area, the county ranger is very friendly and the people who run the marina area are very helpful. So why was I disappointed. The property is located about 25-50 feet above the lake. We came up there to do a little shore fishing or fish from their docks. To get to one of them is a narrow old sidewalk that is not well made and is at a very steep angle to the lake. The handicap access dock is a joke. A long walk up and then back down. Also, there is literally no place to fish at all. If you are one of our seniors, then forget about bringing a lawn chair, throw a line in the water and have a relaxing day. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that the grounds are clean and the people who work there are very friendly and the map of the area is easy to read. We were not camping so I can't comment on it, but they do have a general store, gas pumps, cabin rentals and a small restaurant on the grounds. Also offers a variety of boat rentals and bait. They have a day's admission fee, a yearly admission fee, and a year's admission pass if you can show your military ID for $10.

The place is really worth visiting so much nostalgia comes flooding back. There is a great bus tour of the outside where you see all of the sets that they use and which shows they are filming using them. There is a Jurassic park tunnel which is quite thrilling when you go through it and also the friends and big bangs sets which you can take pictures. Just one thing for the solo travelers, I needed a friend as they helped me take a picture by blasting the light in my face to take the picture with my phone , it didn't come out good. I needed the side angle which the professional uses but unfortunately I was traveling solo. It was a great experience and I loved it!
