Things to do in Tieling

Longshou Mountain is located two miles east of Tieling City. Because it runs from the southeast and suddenly rises up when it reaches the bank of Chaihe River, it looks like the head of a giant dragon, so it is named Longshou Mountain. It is a famous scenic spot in Tieling. Every May, the hills and valleys are full of colorful roses, and the intoxicating fragrance of flowers drifts in the wind. The spring scenery here is beautiful, and the autumn scenery is more elegant. The cool autumn wind blows red maple leaves all over the mountain, and tourists are constantly visiting in the dense trees. "Longshou Autumn" is one of the eight scenic spots in Chaihe.

Rural music has driven the development of many rural areas, but it has also exposed the inadequacy and short-sightedness of rural atmosphere. The country boy who made his fortune by relying on Errenzhuan and some indescribable things has driven a large number of people around him. This is a must-see spot in Tieling. There are free guided tours in the morning and afternoon; those interested can join in. The scenic area isn't very large; it's connected to the adjacent Tieling Museum, so you can easily explore it in half a day.

Qipanshan is a famous mountain in Shenyang City. It has a wildlife park, a film and television city, a World Horticultural Exposition Garden, many villa areas, and an outlet town. The scenery is beautiful, but it is quite far to get into the scenic area. During holidays, it is often impossible to drive in or out.

The Tieling Lotus Lake Wetland is so relaxing! The free admission is a huge plus. Walking on the wooden boardwalk, the reeds sway gently on both sides, and egrets and wild ducks occasionally skim across the lake. The air is incredibly fresh. When you get tired, you can sit on a bench and relax, gazing at the shimmering water and letting your mind wander – completely free of the hustle and bustle of typical tourist hotspots.

There were so many people and tourists that I didn't have time to take in many things. It's like a low-end version of the Forbidden City in Beijing. Many of the artifacts on display were discarded from the Forbidden City. Some rooms were off-limits, so people crowded around the entrances to take photos. There was no lighting inside, so the photos didn't look great. The architecture is still quite distinctive.

Is the geographical location not good? If it was in Jiangnan, the country would pay more attention to it. The country has long forgotten this eldest son of the Republic. He will not cherish your Northeast tourism industry.

I rode a shared bike along Zhongjie Street in Shenyang to get to the Shenyang Imperial Palace. The street was really lively, but apparently, you can't park bikes along the way; you have to go around to a farther area to park. It seems that the city center commercial street isn't suitable for shared bikes. The next morning, I walked back to Zhongjie Street. There weren't many people on the street that morning. I saw Liu Laogen Grand Stage, but when I turned into the Imperial Palace, there was already a long queue waiting for it to open.
