The style of South Australia is partly explained through red wine. At this time, it is impossible not to mention Barossa. South Australia is a big wine exporting province, and Barossa alone accounts for half of the wine exports. When I visited the Barossa in person, I realized what the "Red Wine Kingdom" is. Here, no matter how much you know about red wine, you can appreciate the charm of red wine. If you happen to have researched on red wine, then in Barossa, you will definitely be as excited as finding a soulmate. The Barossa has been making great wines for generations. The picturesque Barossa, just over an hour's drive from Adelaide, has been settled here since 1842, so it still retains a charming European style. Take a walk on the road that stretches from Kapunda in the north to Mt Pleasant in the south and learn about the Barossa's colourful history. The road passes through many villages in the Barossa, showcasing museums, pioneer buildings and some old Australian vineyards. Explore Tanunda's museum in the town's original 1865 post office. Here, church furniture, pottery and other artifacts will make you imagine the life of early German settlers. Art remains an important part of the Barossa tradition, with galleries, studios, craft stores and antique shops everywhere. For local artists, vineyards, cafés and restaurants often become their galleries as well. If you have plenty of time, you may wish to visit the Lindao Lavender Farm. During the lavender season (August-January), more than 90 species of lavender bloom collectively on the farm, with a fragrant aroma and a dreamlike beauty.Flaxman Valley · 24.5km from Truro

Adelaide Central Market has been open since 1869, with a history spanning over 150 years. It is one of the largest indoor fresh produce markets in the Southern Hemisphere, with over 70 stalls under one roof. Located in the heart of Adelaide, the market features vibrant aisles connecting the stalls. Fresh fish and meat, fruits and vegetables, international cheeses, artisanal bread, desserts, cured meats, nuts, spices, and freshly ground coffee are lined up along the way. Rather than just a place to buy ingredients, it is more of a gourmet maze where you can eat while you browse. The market developed from early morning street trading by immigrant farmers. Since then, immigrants from all over the world have brought in ingredients and culinary skills from their hometowns. European hams and sausages, Asian spices, and local South Australian fruits and vegetables are all showcased together, making it a microcosm of South Australia's diverse food culture. The market's main facade, built in 1900, is still in use today. Most stall owners here are happy to offer samples and chat about their ingredients. Chinatown is right next to the market, so if you get tired of walking, you can easily find a small restaurant to sit down and enjoy a big meal.Adelaide · 75.5km from Truro

The Barossa Reservoir in South Australia is an important catchment area that provides irrigation and drinking water to the Barossa region. The surrounding environment of the reservoir is quiet and beautiful, and it is a good place for locals to go out and have a picnic. However, the difference between Barossa Reservoir and other reservoirs with beautiful scenery is that there is a strange "echo wall" beside it. If you speak in a low voice at this end of the Whispering Wall, people standing on the other end of the 140-meter outer wall will hear what you are saying clearly, which is similar to the Whispering Wall at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. This magical echo wall is the retaining wall of the Barossa Reservoir. It was built in the early 20th century and was once Australia's tallest reservoir holding wall. This wonderful acoustic phenomenon is based on the continuous reflection of sound waves by the smooth arched walls.Williamstown · 36.7km from Truro

Walking into the park, the roads are filled with colorful plants of different shapes and sizes, which makes it feel like summer. There is a rose garden not far from the entrance, where roses of various colors compete for beauty. Going deep into the park, you will see a large-scale glass greenhouse "Tropical Rainforest Observation Park" in the southern hemisphere, which is the 200th anniversary of the founding of Australia. Walking in is like being in the Jurassic era, and there will be water mist spraying from time to time. The botanical garden is large and suitable for walking.Adelaide · 73.9km from Truro

Bumbunga Lake, more directly known as "Pink Lake", is about 130 kilometers from the city of Adelaide, just off the A1 Highway (PrincesHwy), from Adelaide to York Peninsula (YorkePeninsula) or It is the only way to go on the Eyre Peninsula. The lake is a salt marsh lake. Like most salt marsh lakes in Australia, the lake is very shallow, and the depth is only about 10 cm. The magic of the lake is that the color of the lake changes with the season, cloudiness and the time of day. , Generally speaking, after cloudy and rainy days, the salt lake is full of fresh nutrients due to the scouring of the rain, and the colors are particularly bright, and in the morning and sunset every day, it will be unusually pink. Depending on these factors, pink salt lakes can range in color from bubblegum pink to light purple. There is a small town Lochiel by the lake. It has a small population and is relatively quiet. You may wish to rest and stroll.Australia · Lochiel

Adelaide is a relatively large city with complicated road conditions. I drove very carefully. I finally reached the city center and found that there were very few parking lots. I found one, which cost $7 an hour. It was expensive, so I had to park. The famous Blueway Pedestrian Street is located above the parking lot. It is the commercial center of Adelaide, with various shopping malls. If you like shopping, come here.

Adelaide Botanic Garden is a serene escape in the heart of the city, where beautifully curated landscapes meet peaceful walking paths. Lush lawns, vibrant flower beds, and towering palms create a refreshing atmosphere perfect for slow strolls or quiet reflection. The Bicentennial Conservatory is a standout, showcasing exotic rainforest plants in a stunning glass structure. Shaded benches and open spaces make it ideal for picnics, reading, or simply unwinding. Well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, the garden blends education with relaxation. Bumbunga comes from the Aboriginal Parnpangka, which means rain water lake. Along the way, there are iron sculptures, huge cockroaches, rats, tin men, flying saucers, big flies, etc. This is a very ironic set of sculptures made by private environmentalists using waste products to protest the government's plan to build a landfill in this area. Among them, next to the giant cockroach sculpture stands the title of "The World's Largest Cockroach" certified by Australia's Channel 9!

Today we drove to Hahndorf, a famous German village in Adelaide. There are many German descendants here. The streets are lined with various historic German buildings, hotels, restaurants, antique shops, and various specialty shops. It is completely Bavarian style. We tasted authentic German food here. Climbing the Adelaide Hills, the blue sky is fresh and elegant. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can overlook the scenery of the entire city. It's beautiful. It feels like the world has become smaller and you can see everything.
