St. Olaf's Cathedral was built in the 13th century. It is a Gothic-style church. The church was originally 159 meters high. It was once the tallest building in the world (1549-1625), but it was destroyed by war. The church that tourists see today was rebuilt later. It is about 124 meters high. It is the taller building in the old town of Tallinn and one of the landmarks of Tallinn. The light in the church is very dim, and the decoration is relatively simple. You can climb up the tower of the church with your hands and feet, and you can see a good view from it. Before the Danish conquest of Tallinn in 1219, St. Olaf's Cathedral was the center of the Scandinavian community of Old Tallinn. There is a legend that the man who built the church, named Olaf, fell to his death from the top of the tower, and it is said that snakes and toads crawled out of his mouth when his body hit the ground. In the nearby chapel of Our Lady there are frescoes depicting this event.Tallinn · 10.9km from Viimsi Parish

The Cathedral Mountain is a limestone hill in the center of Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It is located west of the Municipal Square and about 20-30 meters above the city. It is now the seat of the Estonian government and parliament. The scenery of the Cathedral Mountain is like an English park in the 19th century. On the top of the mountain is the Cathedral of Our Lady of Tallinn, built in the 13th century. After many renovations and reconstructions, the church shows a mixed architectural style with a baroque tower top. In addition, there is the Angel Bridge built in 1838 on the top of the mountain, which overlooks the whole city. Other attractions include Devil's Bridge built in 1913, the Observatory and more. In autumn, the Toodo Mountains are fully dyed, with rich colors and unique flavors.Tallinn · 11.5km from Viimsi Parish

The town is very small and it's easy to climb up to the observation deck. The view of the old town was beautiful. It's a must-visit place when you go to Tallinn. I highly recommend this observation deck.

Located at the intersection of Pikk Street and Oleviste Street on the north side of the Old Town, it is the tallest building in Tallinn's Old Town. The tower is 123 meters high. According to records, the 13th-century Gothic church was originally 159 meters high, which is taller than what we see now. It was once the tallest building in the world (1549-1625), but was later destroyed by fire. St. Olaf's Church was founded in the 12th century. Before Denmark conquered Tallinn in 1219, it was the center of the Scandinavian community in Old Tallinn. Its patron saint was Olaf II, so the name Olaf's Church was later used. Now it is an active Baptist church. There is a platform 60 meters above the tower, which is a standard feature of old churches in the Old Town. You know, you can overlook the entire Old Town. It costs 2 euros to climb the tower. It takes a few minutes to walk 258 steps, and then it's wow~ 

Telliskivi Creative City in Tallinn is a vibrant hub where art, culture, and innovation come together. Once an old industrial complex, it has been transformed into a trendy district filled with galleries, studios, design shops, and quirky cafés. Colorful street art covers the walls, giving the area a dynamic, urban charm. It’s also home to the Fotografiska gallery, showcasing world-class photography, and hosts regular markets, festivals, and live performances. By day, it’s perfect for browsing local crafts or enjoying artisan coffee; by night, it buzzes with bars and creative energy. Telliskivi is the modern, bohemian soul of Tallinn.

Toompea is the highest point in the Old Town of Tallinn. There is a town hall and a church on the top of the mountain. It is also the most famous viewing point, with the old town at the foot of the mountain as the background.
