Our room was spacious, and comfortable with a deck overlooking the jungle. We ate in the restaurant which was good and not too bad price wise taking into consideration what I now know of the rest of Belize. We wished we could have stayed here longer but we were just passing through.

We loved our stay at Maya Mountai Lodge. It was so quiet and chilled, we could properly wind down at the end of a day spent seeing all the Maya sites ATM caves etc. It's a fab location, close to town for the markets and along the route for so many of the best stops and supermarkets. We had a car and onsite parking was never a problem. Staff were super friendly and ready to help.
The kitchen was incredible and had everything we needed for home-made meals! A full size fridge freezer with ice ready for us, as well as an oven, blender, microwave etc. Even having salt, pepper, oil, tea and coffee facilities and bottled water was really appreciated.
The room had a super comfy bed and table and chairs to eat at. It was a little on the dark side as all windows were covered but we didn't spend much time in there.
We came in January and found the mornings and evenings cool, in amongst the canopy, so make sure to bring so longer sleeves/trousers so you can sit outside in your hammock or walk one of the nature trails. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place for those looking for a rustic-chic place in the jungle.

WwigglyroadsComfortable, excellent place with everything you need (Ac, water, kitchen). Location is right next to the river where you can take a cool dip, and just a four minute walk across the bridge from town. Supermarket across the street, and lots of great food options nearby.
