I can’t recommend Stars Pasture (Xingchen Muju) enough. It truly exceeded all our expectations. We took our family to Huitengxile Grassland, and even before we arrived, we felt the owner’s kindness. He personally came out to help with our luggage and asked about our breakfast preferences for the next day. During our chat, he also shared great tips on nearby activities, which made planning much easier. The deluxe room we booked was much more spacious than we expected, with endless grassland right outside the door. Watching horses and cattle graze in front of our window was amazing. The room was very well equipped. The hairdryer worked well, hot water was plentiful, and they even provided disposable towels, which made everything feel extra clean and comfortable. The bed was soft and cozy, and at night, we could see the beautiful starry sky right from the window. The food was absolutely amazing. The lamb tripe soup in the morning was rich, flavorful, and incredibly comforting. I ended up having several bowls! For dinner, we ordered roasted lamb chops and other local specialties, and everything was delicious. My whole family loved it. You definitely don’t have to worry about food here; the quality is excellent. Plus, the Huanghuagou Scenic Area and other attractions are very close by, so there’s plenty to explore. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. The place is clean, the food is fantastic, and most importantly, the owner’s genuine hospitality made us feel at home. We’re very grateful for how well he took care of us during our visit, and we would come back again. Let me give an objective review of my stay at the Meiyuan Light Luxury Hotel. The service was excellent. From the front desk staff to the breakfast auntie and the cleaners, every single employee was smiling and greeted me warmly, making me feel very welcome. This kind of service attitude is definitely what a hotel should offer. Most importantly, the hotel excels in hygiene and cleanliness, meeting even the highest standards. The room was clean and tidy overall, the bedding was dry and odorless, and the bathroom was equally clean, fresh, and free of any smells. I especially liked the TOTO toilet in the bathroom; it flushed automatically with strong power and a fast stream without splashing, which is a great feature. Additionally, the hotel offers free parking, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Highly recommended for self-driving travelers! The hotel has its own underground parking, and it's a very short walk to attractions like Dazhao Temple and the Great Mosque. The service is meticulous and thoughtful, and the rooms are clean and tidy. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with a convenience store right outside and an old-brand shaomai (steamed dumpling) shop just a few minutes' walk away. This is my top choice for a stay in Hohhot!

The hotel is in a good location, just over 10 minutes' walk to Wanda, with many choices for food. Downstairs is the hotel's own parking lot 🅿, which is convenient for parking. The facilities of a newly opened hotel are relatively new, and there is almost no taste. There are many varieties of breakfast. The yam, sweet potato, and corn that I like are all gathered together. I can't eat too much. I cooked wontons and cooked half a portion. The kitchen lady also kindly told me how many half portions there were and asked if it was enough. ~ Good reviews ~ The laundry room is open all day without limit. The overall stay was not bad. I will book again next time

This hotel is located right in Yuesha Island. We went to play in the morning and it was completely empty. The tent material is thick, there are no bugs, and it's very pretty. Step outside and you're in the desert, with great views everywhere. You can climb the sand dunes to watch the sunrise and sunset. It's just a short walk to the dining area, which has hotpot, BBQ, and lively activities. The starry sky at night is absolutely stunning. Highly recommend!

I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. Balanced Short Version (Google/TripAdvisor): Great experience thanks to one of the owners, who personally organized activities for us. I brought my family to Xilamuren Grassland this time and we stayed at the Saibei Inn. The inn is right on the grassland, so stepping out, you're greeted by endless plains. The view is incredibly open and the air is fresh. In the mornings and evenings, you can enjoy a cool breeze, which is really refreshing. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding tidy, and all the basic amenities were provided, making for a comfortable stay. Both the owner and staff were very warm and genuine, always willing to help when needed. It's also very convenient for sightseeing around; horseback riding and other grassland activities are all nearby. You can even enjoy the grassland nightscape in the evening. We had a great experience with both the food and accommodation here. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip to the grasslands.
