Advantages The B&B is in the mountains, very quiet, the air is very good, the overall decoration is very warm, the room is quite clean, the courtyard is also very comfortable, there are two small swings, the boiled eggs for breakfast are delicious, tender and fragrant, and the white rice porridge is also well cooked. Disadvantages The room is small, the four pillows are very hard, and it is not easy to sleep. There is no TV in the room, and the sound insulation is very poor. Living on the first floor, you can hear the front desk calling when you close the door. I don’t know if the overall environment is too quiet. The bathroom is very cramped. The water temperature was very low when I took a shower around 10 o’clock. It was estimated to be 37 or 38 degrees. The air conditioning effect was not good when I took a cold shower. Glorious cold😷

Disappointing stay here. We had no choice but to extend our stay because it was Chinese new year and very difficult to find another place to stay and also my husband was sick so we had to change our plans and stay an extra night so he could rest. The place smelled like smoke everywhere. We have a baby with us and wanted a smoke free place. Despite the signs in the lobby saying No Smoking, people were smoking there and the front desk people didn’t care. The towels in our room had ashes on them and smelled like smoke. They were also ripped and badly needed to be replaced. (We got a smoke free room and learned on our trip that all they do for smoke free rooms is open the windows to air it out before you arrive. 🤦🏻♀️) There was insufficient toilet paper when we arrived and although they did provide more when we asked it was just inconvenient. The toilet paper holder was broken so we had to find somewhere else to put the roll of toilet paper. The sink leaked and it was supposed to be a dry washroom which is one of the reasons why I booked the place but turned out to be a wet washroom. Incredibly inconvenient with a baby. The shower drainage was missing a cover and it didn’t feel safe for my child when showering because her little feet could get stuck inside it. One of the days we needed to rest a little longer and the housekeeper asked us when we were leaving so she could clean our room. We said we needed 2 more hours (around 2pm) she kept trying to peer inside our room and said she wanted to get off work early. I found that incredibly rude. I understand it’s CNY and you want to go home early but that’s not something you should say to a guest who paid to stay at the hotel. Front desk people also did not seem friendly. Never saw any of them smile. We obviously don’t speak Chinese fluently and they laughed at us when they couldn’t understand us and wasn’t helpful in any way. Overall, not a very pleasant stay. Would not stay here again.

Shuttle service from Wangxian Valley Scenic Area entrance to the guesthouse: The owner offers convenient pick-up and drop-off. Service: Great. The breakfast was delicious, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's very close to the scenic area, the property is brand new and spotless, and the room is quite spacious, making it easy to store luggage.

The room was clean and tidy, the space was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the sleep experience was superb. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, check-in and check-out are efficient and fast, and the details are intimate. The location is excellent, the travel is convenient, and the surrounding facilities are complete. The overall environment is quiet and elegant, the price is very high, whether it is travel accommodation or leisure stay is very suitable, will choose this next time, recommended

An unforgettable stay in a truly unique room. The space was crazy in the best way, super big, spacious, and incredibly comfy. The bathtub right in the middle of the room was such a bold and luxurious touch, and having a projector in the bedroom made evenings feel like a private cinema. Everything felt open, airy, and thoughtfully designed for relaxation. The room also featured a beautiful balcony, which would be perfect to enjoy in warmer weather. Unfortunately, due to the cold temperatures during our stay, we didn’t get the chance to fully enjoy it, but it is definitely a lovely addition to the space. The owner was exceptionally kind and helpful. He offered to carry our luggage up to the top floor, which we really appreciated. He also dropped us off at Wangxian Valley for free and picked us up again when we finished, a gesture that made our visit incredibly smooth and stress free. A few very minor notes, mentioned only for completeness in an otherwise excellent stay: the room is on the 4th floor and accessed by stairs, which may be something to keep in mind for older guests or anyone with limited mobility, although the owner is more than willing to assist. We slightly missed having basic breakfast or tea and coffee utensils. We only had a water heater and paper cups available. We also stayed during a cold wave with temperatures between -2 and 4°C, and while the AC worked, it struggled a bit to fully heat such a large space. Lastly, we only had disposable towels and one face towel, and would have appreciated standard bath towels. Overall, these small details did not take away from the experience. We decided to upgrade to a ground floor suite and it was the best decision. The suite was bright and spacious with a private terrace overlooking the lake from which you got a spectacular view of the neighbouring Bajing park and bridge as well as an islet with a tree full of white egrets. The suite had both a bathtub and separate shower and a cosy niche with a circular bay window for enjoying one's tea. The grounds and public areas of this hotel were immaculate, and one can't help but be impressed by the cleaners constantly sweeping up every last leaf in the courtyards. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, from the receptionist who retrieved our laundry when we were out, to the lady owner who greeted us in the street and offered helpful suggestions for sightseeing, to the kitchen staff who tried their best to adjust to our western taste at breakfast. The hotel had a superb location on historic Bajing Street which was full of quirky shops selling antiques and folk crafts. The Song Dynasty cultural village, the Bajing Pavilion, the ancient city walls and the pontoon bridge were all within easy walking distance.

Amazing view of Leixin bridge and greenery from the room. Had a much needed restful retreat with the scenery and service. Looked exactly like in the pictures. As it is situated at the mid point of Huangling, there was no need for the cable car, and the boss drove me to the entrance of the scenic area (and offered to pick me up when coming back). It’s a short 5 minute walk from the minusu Special shoutout to the boss for his AMAZING hospitality - arranging for a complimentary car pick up from the scenic area when I first arrived via Didi bus to the main entrance, then in his 3 wheeled cart up to the minsu, carrying up my luggage all the way up to the room. He also helped to arrange for a shared car ride back to Wuyuan Station. His wife is an amazing chef too and provided room service. There are also other restaurants and convenience stores within a 1-2 minute walk if you prefer variety.

The Huazhu Wuyuan Yueyuan Wufei B&B is amazing! 👍 The renovation of the old house was meticulously done. A professional designer designed the courtyard, preserving its ancient charm while maintaining elegance and comfort. The rooms are cozy and inviting, ensuring a good night's sleep. The meals are authentic Wuyuan cuisine, and the proprietress's cooking is exceptional, making the specialties incredibly delicious. Breakfast and lunch offer a complete selection of Wuyuan specialties (pocket carp, steamed pork with rice flour, steamed fish with rice flour, Qingming fruit, etc.). The dishes are made with all-natural ingredients, including cucumber, cowpea, green pepper, and river chicken. The whole family devours every meal! You can also cycle along the rippling river, amidst the gently swaying blossoms. In the courtyard, you can play pot-to-pot together, creating a truly immersive experience. The attentive service makes it feel like home! 🥰 The proprietress and her family run the B&B as if it were their own home. Every corner of the old house holds history, every visitor has a story, and every dish the proprietress prepares is filled with warmth. It is better to come here by yourself after seeing and hearing it. Feel the inheritance of this history and the love for life.

We visited Jingdezhen for two days in early September and had a lovely stay at Nanshe Bieyuan Homestay. It was one of the most comfortable experiences we’ve had at a hotel. The rooms were extremely clean and designed very thoughtfully. Everything was comfortable to use from the bed to the shower to the side table–and the room’s temperature was perfect! The amenities were also great, we loved the shower gels and were also able to wash our clothes after a long week of travel. We used their laundry machine, dryer, and outdoor clothing rod (for garments that cannot be machine dried). The location is also super convenient as it is close to key attractions and delicious food. We were able to walk to the Taoxichaun night market as well as most of our meals within 5 minutes and Didi was accessible to anywhere further. As a bonus, the hosts/owners were a super kind couple who were endlessly welcoming to us every time we encountered them. They greeted us warmly, gave us recommendations for our itinerary and meals. They helped us carry our luggage as well as store them during pre and post check-in. They always made sure we were stocked with what we needed such as water and snacks (including their homemade mung bean drink)! We also received two cute bracelets as a trinket gift :). Lastly, they have a cute dog named Cola who was so gentle and affectionate. We loved interacting with her as she reminded of us our dog at home! Thank you again for the lovely stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jingdezhen.

An ideal stay. We stayed for one night as a couple in the room with the bathtub, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived in the lobby, we immediately noticed how exceptionally clean the entire place was. Everything was absolutely immaculate. Our room was simply perfect, and we truly mean that. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the various amenities and facilities were not only interesting for us to discover as visitors from Europe, but also extremely practical and thoughtfully provided. The breakfast, kindly prepared by the hosts, was absolutely delicious and incredibly generous. But above all, we would like to thank our hosts a thousand times over. They were among the kindest and most welcoming people we have ever met. They took such wonderful care of us and were always available and happy to assist us throughout our entire stay. Thank you so much for this beautiful stay.
