3-Star Hotels in Jilin, China

We stayed during renovations in the building which may have caused our first room to not have hot water. The staff reassigned us rooms quickly and the stay was pleasant. The hotel is just across a bus exchange from Jilin Railway Station, extremely convenient for traveling. The furnishings are retro but classy. The bathroom was a single space divided by a shower curtain separating the shower area from the toilet. Do note that there are smoking and non-smoking floors, make sure you specify which one you are on if it matters to you.

We stayed in a Business king Room at the Chaoman Hotel for three nights.  we were able to check in and check out smoothly and done within 5 mins. Staff are courteous, friendly and helpful. Decor is a bit dated but rooms are spacious and well supplied. Shower is pretty efficient. Housekeeping is great and the lady was very helpful and sweet. Consistently good service by staff across the hotel, from the front desk staff to restaurant.  Over all, a very pleasant 3-day stay.

In addition, the hotel offers meeting rooms and a business center, making it ideal for business travelers. ## V. Value for Money Overall, this hotel offers exceptional value for money! While the price isn't cheap, the service and facilities you receive are absolutely worth it. We drove from Harbin to Changchun and booked this hotel on XC. Since it was during the National Day holiday, hotels near the city center had increased their prices, so we chose this slightly out-of-the-way hotel, and the price was acceptable. There's a parking lot right at the hotel entrance, and because it's located within the Automobile City, there are plenty of parking spaces. Getting around from the hotel is very convenient, and taxis are easily accessible. The front desk attendant was very quick with the check-in process, but the hotel doesn't offer complimentary breakfast. The room was spacious and comfortable, clean, and had a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The breakfast restaurant is on the first floor, and it's fine for a decent meal. What I have to complain about, though, is that in this day and age, the hotel room actually had a hairdryer from the 90s – low power and weak airflow. Additionally, there are self-service laundromats on the 7th and 9th floors. However, the 7th floor only has two washing machines and no dryer, while the 9th floor has one washing machine and one dryer. Guests needing laundry services all have to wait for that one dryer. The hotel should really consider adding more equipment.

Highly recommend this hotel! It's the perfect choice if you're driving, as the parking garage is huge with three levels. The breakfast offers a great variety, it's rich and delicious, with bread and sausages – a really good spread. The front desk staff are very welcoming and helpful. The facilities are excellent, including a safe and a scale. There's even a lounge on the ninth floor where you can enjoy free live music from singers, sip coffee, and take in the beautiful night views of Yanji. Fantastic value for money!

Awesome! The hygiene was great, the space was quite large, and the service was prompt. Having a smart assistant and TV casting, along with a movable dining table, made it really convenient and suitable for my needs.

Hotel is rather near to the Jilin train station. Exit via the west entrance. It is a 5-8mins walk away. However, for families with baggage, a Didi/taxi ride is just 6-7 yuan away. Rooms are modern. Lots of eateries nearby. Also found out there were plenty of malls selling specialist winter gear nearby. Huilong shopping mall level 3/4 for the jackets. Da Fu Hao mall a short 3-4 mins walk from there for the winter shoes. Another mall for the skiing attire. Can consider getting your winter stuff here before going to your onwards winter holiday at Changbaishan or Haerbin.
