Very nice hotel located at the heart of Shilin. It has great access to the rest of Taipei thanks to the nearby station. Bus connections are also good and of course it is close to the famous (but overrated) Shilin night market. The rooms themselves are mostly clean but I noticed a few dirty spots here and there. It is quite tech-friendly with a smart toilet, and service is very kind. There is a laundry room (you need 10 NTD coins) and a free parking garage, which I think is a very nice plus.

Walking distance from Taichung station. They provide basic amenities, water dispenser, hairdryer available. The room also spacious. Minor: checkin at 17:00! This should be illegal. And the max checkout time is at 11:00. My mistake I didn’t check the checkin time before i booked. By the time i realise, i cannot cancel my booking already. They don’t provide room cleaning. They instructed me to take out my own trash if it’s full inside the room. If you want room cleaning, they will ask for payment.

I didn't expect Jiashan Forest to sell a house in addition to a house in the city. Of course, the price is a bit higher. The 3-hour soup house has no scenery, which is a bit more expensive.

I have a great time staying at YOUR hotel during the 2-week quarantine required by Taiwan government. The staff is very friendly, efficient and professional. Meals are delicious and various. The bonus is the free delivery service of yummy food at night market downstairs. Room amenities are sufficient and the room is spotless clean. Highly recommend!

A clean and well-equipped hotel in ximending. Close to the metro and bus lines as well as the train station. Lots of shopping and places for food at walking distance. The room was spacious and clean. Some street noises can be heard, even on the 8 floor but this didn't bother us. Very well maintained place. There is no breakfast available.

Second time staying in Yomi Hotel in Taipei. Walking distance to Shuanglian mrt and both sides of the roads are decked w lots of eateries. Chili 胡椒饼 was really spicy and good, cheese flavour good too. Many bbt stores along the way too. Yomi is in a really good location. I didn’t even know they had a basement (you have to take the stairs down where the washroom is and some amenities too, you can borrow Nintendo Switch from them, there’s free jelly to consume). We were excited to know we got the same exact room from our previous visit a year ago. Just some furniture was moved. One unlucky thing was the previous guest must have smoked in the room or is a smoker as we smelt cigarette smoke in there whenever we entered our room. Participated in their green programme where water/snacks/sachet coffee and tea and single use items/change of towels will not be done within our stay. Was given 2 masks in return. We were ok w it as we had own own toothbrush and toothpaste, fine w using the same towel for 2 nights. If we needed water we can request from the front office. Body lotion, hand sanitiser, shower gel, shampoo and hair conditioners were in dispensers so that’s provided as well. Condom and lube was even provided in sachets in the room haha.

Hotel location is convenient as it's only walking distance from Ximen's shopping district and MRT. Lots of shops and and restaurants around so you will never run out of options. The receptionist was accommodating with all our inquiries. We loved the fact that we can drink as many coffee and hot chocolate as we want from the drink machine in the lobby. There is a water dispenser as well to refill water. My sister and I had a wonderful stay and there isn't really much to complain about. The decor is quite old fashioned but our room was clean enough which is most important. Overall, we are satisfied. I would recommend to stay here if you are looking for an affordable decent place to stay for a couple of days in Ximen.

It very convenient for location & reliable address. It besides ****** if not with children, so we are okay. There also have car park but 40twd charges but we don't have car so we just skip it. The location from train station was mostly near like 15 minu. When we there was no room for 3 ppl so they just give us 4 ppl room. It so comfortable & relaxing as there have long bathroom. However there was no aircon 11am - 1 pm

Room sounds proofing is bad. Can hear people talking on your next door. Even when they turned on the water tap, dragging their chair. No hot water available on the water basin tap. Hotel location in alley. Google gps can't accurately locate. And hotel signage couldn't be clearly seen.

Hotel is within 10m from MRT station, occupies the 12th floor of building. Landmark entrance would be a Starbucks cafe. Surrounding is full of shops such as Zara, Uniqlo, H&M etc My room is without window. This is akin to capsule but bigger in size with attached bath, toilet and tv. Price is double of capsule but is definitely worth the money

The hotel is just opposite Ximending walk street and next to the MRT station. The room is bright and clean. The bed is comfortable and shower is amazing! The water heats up quickly and the water jet is strong. Food is not amazing but can do. Definitely will recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a convenient place to stay!

A great value hotel with everything you need in a great location. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The shower works well. Stag are friendly and helpful and the location is in the heart of Ximen. The decor is a little dated and there were no windows in the room but if you just need a place to stay and aren’t fussed about beauty then this is a perfect choice!

The hotel's location is very convenient, being close to both the Taichung train station and the Miyahara ice cream shop. Cleanliness is excellent, but one area that needs improvement is the air conditioning—it wasn't quite cool enough during my stay. They did provide a fan to help with air circulation in the room, which was appreciated. Overall, a decent stay with great accessibility to transport and local attractions.

Be aware that the check-in is 16:00pm. Room is near and tidy. It’s a basic hotel. From outside exterior building it’s looks old but the rooms looks like been renovated. Breakfast items are quite limited.

There are many people in the surrounding parks and it is quite lively. It is not noisy when sleeping at night. The only drawback is that it is difficult to find parking spaces, but there are still vacancies on the roadside at night. The overall stay is good. The breakfast is delicious. It is the first time I have tacos for breakfast. The cake is delicious and has a high CP value!

Location: It located infront local train Taichung not hsr taichung. But it is very easy to access using local train from hsr taichung/Xinwuri to local train taichung. A lot of convenience store nearby and two vegetarian shops located near the hotel the other one just at a corridor beside the hotel. Amenities: give some tea and coffee. Water heater provides. Hair dryer provided. Towels provided. Some self service can take from counter one time use shaver, toothbrush and toothpaste, indoor shoes. I booked this hotel as it stated that there are parking lots. When I came to check in, staff only said that there were not available and directed me to the near by parking where I have to pay fee. Staff who are at the counter check in were not so friendly, unlike the staff who are at the breakfast entrance and in front of the elevator area, they were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and we got the view where we can see the main train station.

The room is clean and modern (no carpet which i enjoyed). Best part is that there is foc laundry facilities. Only downside was the late check in at 4pm vs 3pm at most hotels.

Let’s talk about the price first - 770 RMB for booking on Tirp.com, a very cheap single room. Besides, the location - near the train station, close to Jiguang Food Street and Taichung Park, is very good. Speaking of services, the accommodation regulations are explained in detail. There were no windows originally, but it was nice to have windows when I checked in. But at the end there is a contract to sign! There is a very strange rule that you need to sign a notification contract for the first time when you are traveling abroad. Finally, let’s talk about the facilities and in-room equipment: The elevator is small (only holds about 4-5 people), but it is still ok with two seats The corridors on the floor are spacious, and there is a water dispenser at the elevator entrance with cookies, candies, and a comb, as well as an air purifier, which is very good. The induction door card is not a password type, which is very convenient. The single room is fully equipped except for a TV and a hair dryer. This is a bit regrettable. Of course, it can be ignored at this price, but the front desk did not inform us again. It should be improved. There is water in the glass kettle. Points will be deducted for such housekeeping deficiencies. Drinking utensils should have paper lids. The bathroom space is quite large, and the faucet and shower switch have small mechanisms. They can be rotated, pushed and pulled to supply water, which is very convenient. The #2 floor restaurant will be renovated in early July (I don’t know when it will be completed), so no breakfast is included. #The door will be locked after two o'clock in the morning (no night locker), and you can enter and exit with your room card or touch the outdoor button screen (123456). Although there are some minor flaws overall, the price is impeccable and I will come again if I have the opportunity.

The geographical environment is very good, close to Fengjia Night Market. There is also Watsons nearby, Kang is beautiful. The facilities are quite new and there is a public space on the first floor. There is a refrigerator, microwave, coffee machine, snacks & drinks. The room was clean and comfortable. Customer service Joe is very kind, courteous and attentive. Excellent value for money, highly recommended👍🏻

It is a ten minute walk from Formosa Boulevard Station, and five minutes from Liouhe Night Market. Everything was bright and felt secure. The staff were polite and kind.

A really nice hotel not far from the main station. The hotel is also very close to the night market. The room is clean and the supplies in the room are quite good.

We lived in the hotel for two days. When settled, they could not understand why we had to pay the second time. It turns out that when booking on Bucking, our money was blocked, but in the payment receipt it was not reflected. After repaying, we were settled in the room. The hotel is clean, comfortable, close to the night and stuff markets - 5 minutes walk. The hotel provides a light dinner in the evening - buffets, cakes, ice cream, tea, coffee, drinks. There are many shops, cafes, metro station and bus stops nearby. We are happy with this hotel, if there is an opportunity, we will come again.

Location: close to MRT and surrounded with variety of shops for food or quick shop for tourist. Room: size is great, you get everything you need and bathroom is clean is well. Water pressure is great, given this is a common problem for older building. But the bedding is quite uncomfortable, the blanket is literally just a piece of cover sheet which feels weird all night long. Insolation is average as you can hear people shutting door and partying at night. This is a budget hotel that you get what you paid for.

Book the hotel for a last-minute travel. Stayed in this hotel for 8 days. I think for the price the hotel is clean. Here are some breakdowns: Room: The room and the hotel are a little dated, but its acceptable. I think it will work for backpakers. The vent in my room came off a little. The maintenance team should pay attention to things like this. The room I booked does not have a window. Luckily, I'm not in the room most of the time. Recommendation to people if you are interested in this hotel, make sure to book the room with a window. Also, the room I stayed in is small. You need to close up you luggage otherwise you won't have space to walk. Cleanses: The cleanese is within acceptable range for a hotel like this. However, I think the carpet in the room is old and dirty. Management should really consider replacing the carpets. A newer carper can bring the cleanness of the room up one level. The room also has some minor mildew smell when you enter the room. In fact, some parts of the hotel also have minor mildew smells. Management should really figure out how to remove the mildew smell. The mildew smell goes a way if you increase the AC, but then the room becomes too cold. The mildew smell is also reported by some of the reviews. Comfortable: The mattress and pillow are ok. Each bed comes with 2 pillows instead of 4. I have decent sleep on it. Amenities: The hotel comes with two bottles of water everyday. House keeping will provide it daily if you have house keeping. Hotel provides reusable sleepers for bathroom and for use in the room. These are not disposable sleepers. They are reusable. They look very old school and I'm not sure how clean they are. So, I dont use them. I understand its a budget hotel, but it would be really great if they provided disposable sleepers. Also, there is no hand soap in the bathroom. You would think that after the pandemic, washing hand should become an important part of life but hand soap is not provided. I went to one of the local shops here to buy myself a bottle of hand soap. The shower drain is also a little clogged. There is a small poddle of water while showering. I read similar issues in other reviews. Breakfast: The breakfast is ok for the price of the room. Some of the reviews said that the breakfast was better before. Honestly, with inflation, all cost have gone up. I think the selection of breakfast is good for the price of hotel. I think overall the hotel is ok. If you are traveling alone and are under a budget, I think this hotel can be one of the choices.

The hotel is really out of my expectation. The staff are very nice and helpful. The room is clean, especially the bathroom, the floor could keep dry even after the bath. There is a free concierge on ground floor. They serve tea, coffee, snack and even ice-cream! When you felt tired after a day of visit, this concierge really can relax you. Breakfast are with wide variety. Overall this hotel is value for money.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, they did an upgrade for me for free as I've asked for a room with a window. Bed was very comfy and overall environment is relaxing. Breakfast is very tasty although not super varied, but much better than you'd expect for the pricepoint.

I recently stayed at this hotel and the overall experience was very satisfying. The room is clean and tidy, the design is simple yet warm, and the bed is comfortable, allowing me to have a good rest every night. The hotel's service staff are very friendly and professional.
