GGuest UserRoom is big, bed is comfortable, bathroom has a door for shower area so that it would not become wet everywhere. Shampoo is good quality and like the smell. Breakfast is above average and has a lot of choices.
Internet/Wifi is slow and difficult for some work. Handwash was used up and was not refilled by housing keepers. Queen bed room is not a real queen bed but twin beds put together.
GGuest UserHotel teams are very kind and ready to respond to your requests.
Food is perfect and delicious.
Hotel is quite new and clean.
Location is a bit far from Munich center but it is very convenient for traveling. Also, very clean and safe area.
Hotel is far from train station just 1-2 min walk.
GGuest UserWe received excellent service at this hotel during our check in provided by Aaryan. Aaryan helped guide us into the parking garage, was super friendly and got us a room in the main tower where there was an elevator to use (despite our booking in the less expensive annex room). He even offered to provide us suggestions for the sunny weather during our stay in Munich and made sure to say hello and check in on us each time we saw it. It was natural and friendly customer service.
The hotel is a little older and has some interesting decor. The room had a futon couch, a good bed, desk area, coffee/tea station, closet, mini fridge (with some pop and water you could pay for), an iPod dock, a good sized TV, and plenty of counter space to put our things. They provided gummy bears and a couple of cookies in our room too which was nice. The bed was comfy for me and the hotel can provide more bedding or pillows on request. We felt the cleanliness could have been better as our tea cups were a bit dirty.
The bathroom was interesting with two stools but really a place to put them. The shower was not our favourite with no door or shower curtain and the glass was not enough to keep the water in. There is an all in one shampoo/body wash that was ok. The towels were a little thin and could use replacement.
The cost of the hotel was good and we felt it was a decent location. It is a bit far from the main attractions of Munich but it has good public transport access including the nearby central station which is less than 10 minutes away from the hotel. There are a few restaurants and convenience stores by the hotel that are open quite late and there are some Bavarian/Oktoberfest souvenir stores nearby. I felt safe walking around alone at night to get a late night doner.
The breakfast at the hotel is pretty good with a good variety of food including deli meats, cheeses, bread, yogurt, fruit, juice, coffee and tea. There was lots of seating available including some artsy chairs.
There is limited parking at this hotel and it is very tight so we are glad we rented a compact. If you choose to park here you have to go in to see reception so they can open the door and guide you to your spot. It may also be recommended to contact the hotel in advance to reserve a spot. The front desk initially said it was 20 euros for parking but charged us 22. There are other parkades nearby but due to the construction in the area we felt there was convenient having the car parked at the hotel.
GGuest UserI felt very anxious and scared. This hotel definitely needs to state on their website that their location changes during the winter. My actual accommodation was at Nature Hotel Walde sruhe, located in the mountains. The original hotel was dark and only the intercom was working, so I was really worried when they asked me to call a taxi to come to another hotel. I was confused and didn't know what to do, but a local woman happened to be passing by and helped me out. Don't get misunderstand, the hotel I stayed at was great, the rooms, the food and the staff were great. When I arrived that hotel by taxi and I said this is so bad experience, they said me No problem. It was probably a better grade than the original hotel. But the problem is not there. The location I booked is different from the actual location, that's the big problem! The visitors who come here in winter are probably mostly people who travel by car. If I had booked this place just to relax and enjoy a holiday, I would have been very happy, but I had a schedule that needed to be on time. I chose a place within walking distance to Oberstdorf Station and the ice rink, and booked it. That was my selection criteria. No matter how nice the hotel is, if it's in the mountains I wouldn't choose it. Luckily, there was no snow for a few days after my arrival, so I made the 40 minute walk to the ice rink in the morning. However, it was dark at night and the road was steep, so I couldn't walk there. My friends were worried and sent me the hotel. On the third day, the slope in front of the hotel was frozen and I slipped and hurt my hand. I had been negotiating with Trip.com for a long time, but I couldn't get in touch with them and they told me I couldn't change the hotel. However, due to an injury to my hand, I was unable to continue and was able to cancel the remaining days of my stay after speaking with the Trip.com representative and the front desk staff over mu phone. I had planned to stay somewhere that was easy to walk to, but the time spent negotiating left me exhausted. You are too careless about people who are not used to steep snowy roads. Please think more about the importance of location. Please be sure to write any changes in hotel location!
\\O_O/Given the comments I read from other travellers, the hotel actually has far exceeded my expectation. First of all, there is a U-bahn station right next to the hotel, which takes you only 2 minutes to the central station. The room is spacious, clean and air-conditioned, which is rather rare among other hotels in Germany. It also comes with a large window, which makes the entire room bright and cosy. The front-desk service is 24 hours. The staff are all friendly and helpful.
AAnessaaaexplore🚗 Fantastic Stay with Amazing Free Parking and Wonderful Staff! 🚗
If you are looking for a comfortable, stress-free place to stay in Munich—especially if you are traveling by car—Hotel Blutenburg is an excellent choice. I had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend it to fellow travelers.
🛏️ Pretty Nice and Clean Rooms
The rooms here are pretty nice, very cozy, and kept spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring Munich. The overall vibe of the hotel is very peaceful and traditional, making it a relaxing home base.
A Quick Tip on the AC: It is important to note that the rooms do not have air conditioning. However, this didn't ruin my stay at all! They provide fans in the room, and because the neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful, you can easily leave the windows open at night to let in a lovely, cool breeze without being disturbed by city noise.
🤝 Exceptionally Nice and Welcoming Staff
The hospitality here is top-notch. The staff members are really, really nice, genuinely welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, they made me feel incredibly comfortable. They are happy to give you local tips, recommend nearby bakeries for breakfast, and help you navigate the local transport. It truly feels like a warm, family-run business.
🅿️ Amazing Free Parking!
One of the absolute highlights of this hotel is the free parking. Anyone who has traveled to Munich knows that finding parking can be a total nightmare and incredibly expensive. Having free, secure parking right at the hotel is an absolute game-changer and saved me so much money and stress!
GGuest UserThe rooms are not big but the location is good. There are many small restaurants around. There is no drinking water or electric kettle in the room. The breakfast is pretty good.
AAnonymous UserHad a really good comfortable bed with many pillows. Always appreciate more pillows. Room was clean and beautiful with a capsule coffee machine. Coffee, tea and water is free with a mini bar in the room. I enjoyed that there was a nice smell in the room. The AC is centrally controlled, I could only turn it on or off, changing the temp didn't do anything. Kept it off as I preferred the cool from the weather.
Views from the window were nice but you need to keep them closed I was in a room facing the tram road which made a lot of noise each time the team comes. Halal food nearby was great too.
The gentleman checking me in was very helpful in explaining the key card.
The offer 2 pastries and coffee downstairs which was really a nice touch. Really enjoyed my stay.
AAnonymous UserAn excellent hotel with a superb location! We took the Lufthansa Express bus from Terminal 2, which I highly recommend. It stops right at the hotel entrance, saving us the hassle of lugging luggage from the train station. Plus, the subway is right next door. The breakfast was very clean and tasty; although the variety wasn't extensive, it had most of the items you'd expect from a Western buffet. The front desk staff were also very warm and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the German guests weren't as aloof as I'd heard; everyone was quite friendly and helpful. At breakfast, when I had trouble lifting the lids for food, they kindly offered to help, which was lovely. The room was a bit small and lacked amenities like slippers, tissues, a kettle, toothpaste, and toothbrushes, so it's best to come prepared. However, there's a supermarket right next door, making it easy to buy any daily necessities.
나나ᄆThe location was great, about a 3-minute walk from Munich Central Station. The room wasn't exactly sparkling clean, but it was fine for just sleeping. There was enough space to open two suitcases.
Since I stayed on a weekend, it could get noisy outside even after midnight.
What I liked was that they accommodated my request for a room with a bathtub when I booked, and the takeout kebab right next to the hotel was delicious.
