The location is 10 mins walk from central train station & metro station. Next door got supermarket. Plenty of restaurants and cafes around. The staff are attentive and always available. Hotel room is very clean, cozy, quiet & beds very comfortable. Breakfast is very good & got a few time slot to choose. Our standard room was large enough for both of our suitcases to be opened and still walk around. There is no house keeping during our 2 nights stay & no kettle provided in the room for us to made coffee.

We were flying from Italy via Copenhagen to the US. Arrived from Italy around 10pm. The walk over to the hotel was easy and short (signs to hotel along the way), check in was super fast (desk ppl were nice and efficient), room was nice and functional, the beds were comfortable snd the breakfast was great with many choices. One type of coffee but we were spoiled in Italy. 😂 Highly recommend it.

The dissatisfaction was more a product of the price than anything. The location relative to the airport was not great: a 10-15 min drive. The area was not sketchy in the sense it made me feel unsafe but certainly way more delinquent children than expected. However, was conveniently across the road from a supermarket with multiple cheap options for eating nearby as well. The staff at the hotel itself were great. The room was dingy ++, but was scrubbed as clean as they could manage, which must have been some task as bits were falling off.

The service is very good. Free coffee and water are provided on the first floor. The only drawback is that there is no facial tissue in the room

we were a family in this hotel for 1 night. really liked the location. the metro is 3 minutes walk, it is very convenient. we bought a ticket 24 hours and managed to see a lot of locations. The double room is small but comfortable enough. good bed, clean. there is everything you need. breakfast is long from 7 to 11 o'clock, it's convenient. breakfast is sufficient - egg dishes, yoghurts, sausages and bacon, pastries, cheeses. very friendly front desk manager. in addition, I want to indicate that we arrived 3 hours earlier and we were immediately settled in a room, it was ready, we liked it, we recommend the hotel!

This hotel was booked for me on behalf of my company. The rooms were what one would expect for the price in Europe. My room was small but cute and clean. While it would not have been my choice (no AC, no elevator which makes baggage a challenge, very close to the metro which can make it quite noisy), my stay was made wonderful by Line at the front desk. She is the sole reason I rated this hotel as highly as I did. I checked in after a long day including a five hour layover and an eight hour+ international flight. I will admit I was a bit grumpy but Line graciously allowed me to check in early. Throughout my three night stay, she was consistently cheerful, kind and helpful. My co-worker and I asked for local recommendations and she put so much thought into it and wrote us a literal book of restaurants and bars that were a must. She even offered to make us a reservation at an establishment where she knew the owner. Line will go far in her career because she is an exceptional employee!

Everything was great and it's the perfect place to meet new people. However, the wait for the lift is extremely long, and it can get pretty hot in summer as the windows can only be partially opened. Lack of places to hang the towels as well though the storage lockers and big and great.

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in late May 2024. You get the “new” feeling for everything given it is indeed just a few months in operation. The hotel is located in a very quiet and safe residential area by the port. During the day, you can expect “some work” going on around the vicinity but it is fine in my opinion. The room is considered self sufficient (no mini fridge, no bedroom slippers, no phone with just a few hangers). It is of a reasonable size for one, max two persons. Bed and pillows are comfy. The breakfast offered is unlike the usual massive buffet range but is considered very decent and healthy. Question is how much can one consume over breakfast. Several cosy eateries and supermarkets are located within walking distance. You can also chill or catch some good sun by the boardwalk nearby where people swim and yoga inside the little hut. If you wish to save some money, you should take the train from the airport and walk around 10-15mins to the hotel. Otherwise, taxi from the airport to the hotel vice versa can set you back by DKK500/- just for your guide. Rental of bicycles are available at DKK150/- per day at the hotel (new bikes). Traveling to the city, one-way transport by either bus or metro would cost around DKK24/-. Lastly, you can expect to be greeted by extremely courteous, friendly and helpful hotel staffs. My recent encounter at A Hotels City compels me to convey my discontent, considering it crucial to share as a warning for prospective guests. Let's kick off with a glaring issue – the online check-in process veered away from the promised check-in kiosk service, and it only spirals downhill from here. In plain terms, my room lacked the most basic amenities one would reasonably anticipate. From the glaring absence of USB plugs - not a deal breaker, an iron, and an ironing board to the complete dearth of storage, hanging hooks, hangers, and basic provisions such as a mini bar or a safe, the room fell woefully short of even the most rudimentary standards for a satisfactory stay. The absence of an elevator, coupled with the existence of steep, precarious stairs, wasn't merely inconvenient – it was a blatant oversight compromising guest safety and accessibility, especially for those with mobility challenges including those carrying large suitcases and luggage. The bathroom conditions were downright appalling, with a sink nonsensically crammed into the shower – yes, you read that correctly, a sink in the shower! The absence of an extractor fan was glaring. The shower's temperature control was a complete circus, swinging between scorching heat and freezing cold. As if that weren't enough, the feeble dribble from the cold tap intensified the misery, rendering the entire showering ordeal thoroughly unbearable. The room itself posed a hazard with several obstacles that could lead to trips, worsened by the complete absence of bedside tables and lighting A Hotels City is one to steer clear of.

When I came to re-booking my accommodation in Copenhagen after a cancelled covid trip, the original hotel was not available and came across CPH Studio Hotel which was within by budget. I was a little apprehensive as I did not know the city but I was just perfect. Arriving at CPH airport - just hop on the yellow metro line 2 to either Amager Strand or Oresund (5 mins on metro) and then it is a 5 min stroll to the hotel. Staff were super friendly at check-in. The rooms is exactly as advertised - small and compact but with everything you need. A comfy bed, small kitchen area with a large fridge (a really bonus) and tiny toilet but with a great shower. I really do not see what else you could possibly need. We spend little time in a hotel rooms when travelling as are out and about exploring. The huge bonus, as others have mentioned, is the rooftop terrace which overlooks the bridge to Sweden. It is a short walk from the beach area with a few restaurants / bars but just 10 mins back on the metro to the centre of Copenhagen. Would stay here again and that is the best recommendation.

Greeted instantly and so professional and polite upon arrival at almost midnight. I was given instructions about the hotel amenities and services available. Perfect location.

Neat enough old hotel in the heart of Copenhagen near all things of interest, we enjoyed being able to walk out and find food, transport, parks and shops close by. The hotel itself is a classic old Copenhagen building which shows its age and while I'm sure some find it charming, I would say it's a bit below the standard you come to expect from more modern buildings. The staff was friendly and wanted to accommodate us although the cleaning staff seemed so into their own business that they wouldn't even notice us as we tried getting into the hotel's single elevator, rushing in before us so we almost collided as it didn't seem they were gonna come back inside the lift having just exited. No polite apologies either and on top of that the hallway was at almost all times we came through them, day or night, full of trolleys with used towels, jackets hanging on random hooks and generally just felt cluttered. Don't know if this was on all floors but it gave a weird impression disorder walking through the already-creaky hallway. As for the room itself, it covered our needs and we didn't have issues with noises from other guests other than those walking through the hallway but at least the walls, floor and ceiling didn't cause disturbance. The beds were a little too soft for our liking and left us feeling sore the day after. Also a shame we didn't get the double-bed we had requested during the booking process. Somehow they mixed that up and reception staff didn't seem to know what our booking involved when we showed up. We decided the twin beds provided could be pushed together instead and leave it at that as we had been up at 4 in the morning and were exhausted. A final note on the room would be the weird furniture choices. You get these bed side tables that look like a school kid's wood working project, kind of rough around the edges and felt very cheap and sort of sloppy from a decorating point of view. In contrast, the reception cafe has a wonderful interior and is very charming so I was a fair bit disappointed that the room gave me this impression. All in all, the hotel covered the features it should but I had really expected better from the impression I got when making the booking originally. Location is, however, enough of a pull to make up for the negative aspects. Perfect location for sightseeing and access everywhere.
