There was load music from outside somewhere untill the early hours . Wine bar or somewhere. Toilet took about 30 mins to refill.  Shower was too hot and took an age to cool down £7.50 for parking  When I mentioned the above I was told we only booked a standard room and they were at the back.  That’s fair enough but don’t want to feel like you are park of a rave. And future guest should be told.  A real shame because this hotel could be a real great hotel with a bit of management training

Lovely hotel...wonderful room with a view overlooking the grounds...very friendly and helpful. Had a great ****** mystery weekend with wonderful food.Only downside was when came down for breakfast...3 dirty tables ..none laid ...had to wait for table to be cleaned and wiped!!! even though there were plenty of other tables that could have been laid quickly.. Hot water jug empty..milk empty !! not great.

Great location and a lovely ground floor garden room. Very spacious and comfortable.

This location was perfect for us for a nearby visit. The pub was very popular (almost full) and had a great atmosphere. The car park was very busy with patrons cars. Fortunately we could find a spot but it would be useful if, somehow, Hotel stayers were reserved a space. This could be requested by the hotel upon booking confirmation. Sadly, we did not have time to enjoy the food or drink in the bar before meeting friends. When shown to our room and while carrying over night bags up the stairs, it would have been extra helpful if our door had been opened for us by the staff member to walk straight in before setting those bags down. Small detail to go from 9.5 to a 10/10! After check in we left our room quite soon after to meet friends and only returned after midnight to sleep before next day check out. As a result, we could not really enjoy any service or facilities but the room was fine with an ensuite bathroom. Adequate for our needs. We have stayed before and would stay again should we need to be in the area. Thank you Star Inn

Very quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. It was over 1600 RMB with taxes. Great for a layover. No need to leave the terminal, just take the elevator straight to the first floor. The Hampton sign is a bit small. I believe it's right turn after exiting the elevator on the 1st floor, then another right turn and you're there. The breakfast really didn't offer much... very 'white' (i.e., continental, lacking variety).

Another lovely stay. Evening meal was very good. Breakfast was average. The spa facilities are good. They have added extra hot tubs which was a nice addition although both hot tubs were not as clean as they could have been. We went to the spa very early and was a little disappointed with the amount of scum marks in the hot tub. We felt it should have been wiped round before the first people used it. Other than that we had a lovely stay.

We stayed at Orchid Epsom for 10 days and had a truly comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel is very well located with good accessibility to both local transport and nearby attractions, making it easy for us to get around during our trip. The property is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained — perfect for families looking for a calm place to return to after a busy day in London. What really stood out was the wonderful staff who made our stay memorable. A big thank you to Akhil, Nikhil, Abhishek, Hava, Safa, Ali, Darshini, and Laura — each of them went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and taken care of. Their friendly attitude, helpful suggestions, and warm hospitality made us feel at home. Overall, Orchid Epsom is a great choice for anyone visiting the area — a peaceful stay with exceptional staff and great service. Highly recommended, and we’d happily stay here again.

The hotel was very quiet and the young men covering the front desk and breakfast service were very helpful and friendly. They even helped us order food one night, one of them using his own phone to call for us. We certainly got the feel of staying in a historic place, the only complaint was the many stairs and no lift! Otherwise, we had a lovely visit.

I had a great stay. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The amenities were well-maintained and everything I needed was easily available. Overall, I had a comfortable and pleasant experience. Highly recommended.

The hotel is located quite close to Gatwick airport. There is Gatwick Hoppa buses from the airport that are conveniently circling between close by hotels and the airport for 5.25 pounds fee. Hotel is large in reception area and has very convenient sitting locations there. Rooms are clean, spacious . The garden and the view is very nice . From airport to arrive city ( Blackfriars or Victoria ) is convenient and takes 35 minutes . I like it here. There is Greggs at nearby oil station ( 5 minutes walk ) and vegan sausage roll is nice for 1.7 pounds cost. Overall it is a very nice experience with the price paid . Wonderful.
