3-Star Hotels in East Java, Indonesia

We choose to stay in Swiss-Bel due to our great experience with Ciputra in Semarang which is owned by Swiss-Bel. Unfortunately, Swiss-Bel Surabaya can't compete with Ciputra Semarang. Both hotels have similar pricing, but Ciputra has a much better atmosphere and amenities. Swiss-Bel Surabaya has no bar area. The breakfast is served in the lobby where guests check-in and people outside walk by. The food choice is much less than Ciputra and Swiss-Bel Malang. However, the hotel itself is good and breakfast sufficient if you don't compare it with Ciputra and Swiss-Bel Malang. One thing which absolutely needs to be improved is that jam, chocolate paste and peanut paste should be served in cups, not jars where guests have to scoop out the sweetness themselves with a knife or spoon. This is unhygienic and not tasteful.

This hotel is centrally located with plenty of eateries and major shopping mall Tunjungan Plaza within 5 mins walk away. The breakfast buffet has a very good spread and the entire hotel was very clean and orderly. The service staff were very helpful and able to converse in simple English. This is a super value for money hotel to stay with the family.

This was the second time we stayed in this hotel, and the experience was always awesome. We really liked the room that we booked this time, and the vibes the view and the experience was good. Unfortunately I find the dishes during breakfast were quite bland and the choice was so limited, but we really like the relocations on the top floors, got really good views, and made the whole breakfast quite enjoyable. Regardless we will always recommend this hotel and definitely will stay here again in the future, 😁

Good location near river and Tunjungan plaza which is a massive mall and loads of places to eat including food courts. Clothing especially from Indonesian stores are good value. Hotel very clean and comfy bed and pillows. Bathroom little small in family room but good to have separate seating area with more space. Breakfast not bad not loads of options but perfectly fine. NB: very very steep hill to get to front entrance which is near impossible for a taxi to climb with a turn as well.

Very low standards of cleanliness. After checking in, I asked for the floors to be washed because there was dust and small debris everywhere. Despite this, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was decent.

Everything you need. The rooms are soundproof and feature a bathtub. The location is excellent, close to a mall, plenty of food options, and the government center.

The hotel is quite good and relatively cheap. I just want to highlight some of the things that can be improved easy and quick. One of those is the double secured lock that is broken in the door. It make the stay a little bit unsecured. It only have one lock, the chain lock is broken.

One of the best hotel in Banyuwangi I love staying there. I cannot describe how great are all staff there very helpful special thanks to the kichen staff and reception to good keep it up .see you next time.♥️❤️🤎

Location at the center of surabaya, you can go north, west, east easily - medium distance. The food is taste is just okay recommended for transit hotel, where you need a bit time for rest.
