Unfortunately, the cleanliness leaves something to be desired, and details and amenities are lacking.
However, the accommodation, with its beautiful view, is perfect for Instagram posts.
The location is quiet and quite remote.
The service is very friendly and attentive, although communication in English was a bit sluggish at times.
Overall, a good stay, but the price is too high.

TTrip.com local guidesThe service from the staff was very decent. But the room was severely lacking. The bed was sunken in …. There was an odor in the hallway. The air conditioning made a lot of noise. Non smoking rooms are indeed available but many guests flout the rules and if you’re unlucky like I was assigned a room next to a very heavy smoker the smoke from his room was entering mine through the gaps in the partition door.

ЕЕвгенийRoom with a window, with normal Wi-Fi. There is a large work desk, a large bed. The only thing missing is a refrigerator. This is one of the best hotels in the city, so we can safely recommend it for check-in.
Hearty breakfasts, a restaurant downstairs where you can eat throughout the day for not the highest prices. Good location next to a large shopping center, supermarket and night food outlets.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at Swiss-Belinn Medan and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Medan, making it easy to access nearby shopping areas, restaurants, and local attractions.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The bed was cozy, and housekeeping did a good job ensuring everything stayed tidy throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, polite, and always willing to assist with any requests, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Breakfast was quite good, offering a decent variety of local and international dishes. The dining area was also clean and well-organized.
One area for improvement would be the Wi-Fi connection, which could be a bit unstable at times. Additionally, the room size might feel slightly compact for longer stays, but it is still sufficient for short trips.
Overall, Swiss-Belinn Medan offers good value for money, especially for business or short leisure stays. I would consider staying here again on my next visit to Medan.

GGuest UserThe service was good, one highlight to afternoon staff, when I approach the counter for check in, there is one one man came to reception in the middle of my registration and asking about the room availability, I expect the staff will say, can I get back to you? let me handle her first, but instead he check the room availability on the different system beside mine. At last he handled me. He might be only make sure that there is room vacant, but you can only focus on who come first and then you can move on to another, after all its accor brand. Overall experience the room is clean, the bathroom very god and clean. Will be back for sure

Caters only locals almost nothing available for Westerners overall it’s not a bad stay, but for my next trip, this would not be my first choice. If I have to I will stay again. Also, there are cheaper options about the same quality. The hotel stuff is nice though helpful

MMel PunkribThe view is so pretty. The family room is comfortable and big. The breakfast had many choices. For kids extra need to pay 55.000. You can play at the beach or do water sport activities. love our stay here

Swimming pools located at the back, facing the lake. Depends on the room located, mostly needs to go down or up, therefore it's not suitable for people has limitation to climb the stairs.
Rooms is also basic, Breakfast is basic local food.

GGuest UserChecked in with tons of ants on the floor and just beside beds. Request to change to another room straight but was told no more same grade room available. Cleaner come and clean the floor and we have to use back the same room. No cupboard and only 2 hangers for a 5 person room. We dont even have place to hang our clothes and towels. Price is much moreexpensive compared to the surrounding hotel too.
