Hylands Burren Hotel

Hotel was lovely, room was very spacious and bathroom was newly refurbished, although the bath was a bit too high, making getting out of the shower a little awkward. Food, I didn't think was too good. While breakfast came on a large plate, and there was plenty to eat, if only it could be eaten. Bacon and sausage seemed like they had been cooked ages ago, and were tough and cold (having said that - I like my food piping hot). Entertainment was excellent - something for everyone. I would definitely go back. Lovely helpful staff too. Yes, we had a great time
Park Inn by Radisson Shannon Airport

Nice hotel and rooms have everything you need, 2 minute walk from airport. My only feedback is we got to the hotel at midnight and was hoping to get a beer but the bar was closed, as a Radisson you could offer a small range of drinks after midnight for late arrivers. I wouldn’t expect them to open the bar but could easily have 1 option of bottled beer and a wine.
Myles Creek
3.8/534 Reviews
I read a lot of the reviews for Myles Creek before booking and they were varied to say the least so I want to give a very honest review of my stay, which was with my wife for 3 nights in August 2023. First off this is not a modern franchise type hotel so if that's what you are looking for it's not for you. The building is an old building and while the rooms are certainly dated in style our room was spotless and comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast has 3 options full Irish, scrambled eggs and toast or vegetarian, my wife doesn't like fried eggs so asked if she could have scrambled eggs with the full irish, the lovely lady who served us said this wasn't an option, seems odd but aside from that the full irish breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. The bar down stairs is a really nice bar that has excellent food and again helpful and friendly staff. So all in all in terms of bang for your buck I highly recommend Myle's Creek and I most certainly will return, just manage your expectations if a big fancy hotel is what you are after, think more family run, wholesome no frills and you wont be disappointed.

Popped into this hotel for lunch, a table was made available for us, service was quick and efficient and staff were lovely, ordered the bacon and cabbage, and my partner opted for a burger, both meals were truly outstanding, the bacon and cabbage with mash and parsley sauce was served beautifully and the burger was beautifully presented too, We were in Co Clare for a few days so decided to bring friends back for dinner, restaurant was quite busy but the restaurant manager found us a table quickly, Im always wary of recommending to others but I needn't have worried as dinner was equally as nice as the lunch 2 days before, first course was chowders all round, which were phenomenal, served with Irish soda bread, 3 of the party then went on to have burgers and 2 had the chicken kiev, standard of cooking is first class and the staff and management run a slick operation here, not to be missed.

A few days before I came out for vacation, I was a business hotel. I tried B&B abroad for the first time. It was really a surprise. The room was very clean and refreshing. There was a skylight. The blue sky was really pleasant when it was sunny. The breakfast was great. We booked breakfast for 10 euros per person. Sitting in the restaurant looking out the window is really healing the busy anxiety of the city; in addition, the boss is really nice, introducing various facilities and surrounding travel recommendations; especially recommend this... If there is a chance to come back in the future, I will come again!
