3-Star Hotels in Liguria, Italy

Great location in Monterosso, just a 2 minute walk to the beach and promonade where all the restaurant and bars are. We had a great welcome from our hosts who met us outside. My partner is pregnant with twins, so they gave us a car parking space outside our accommodation and helped to carry our suitcases up to the room for us. The room was stunning with a balcony overlooking the sea! A really nice size with all ammendmenties included. Fridge, Beach Towels, Slippers, Tea and Coffee facilities and toiletries in the bathroom. There is also a communal kitchen area outside the room with a coffee maker for extra coffee and teas. This is also where breakfast is served. We took ours to our room to eat on the balcony. The room has aircon but it was very slow at cooling the room. It is best to keep the shutters and tender down in the heat of summer to try and keep the room as cool as possible during the day. There are also alot of stairs to get up to the fourth floor where the rooms are with no lift. So bare this is mind if you struggle with stairs. For us, it was good for the exercise :) Overall, we loved this place and location and would definitely stay again! Great pizza restaurant below the appartment and a big car park across the street for parking.

Everything was perfect - I really appreciate the host's responsiveness. The location is also fantastic - close to the train station and the Old Town. The room was clean and well equiped. Great value for money.

We had a really lovely stay here. The staff, many of whom are from Italy, were incredibly friendly, kind and helpful throughout. We had a small issue during check-in, but they were very patient and did their best to sort it out quickly, which we really appreciated. It’s a great place to stay with children. Everything was handled efficiently whenever we needed help, and there are plenty of facilities to keep everyone happy — including a restaurant and bar, a nice area for breakfast and evening activities, and a play area for kids to burn off some energy. For those who enjoy music, there are instruments like a piano, guitar and ukulele to use. There’s also a gym for anyone who enjoys sports and exercise. The outdoor kitchen area is a lovely touch, and our room was spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. Overall, a very positive experience and we would happily stay again.

The staff at Hotel al Sant’Andrea were TOP NOTCH! Very kind, informative, and always greeted us with a smile! The breakfast was basic but delicious and we always left full. The rooms were very basic and a bit run down but the beds were very comfortable. The rooms kind of felt like a dorm room to me. A/C worked well. Rooms were big for European hotel rooms (I’m Canadian and used to very large hotel rooms). The shower was very small but for only a 2 night stay it wasn’t a big deal. There was a mini fridge that actually kept items cold! I find hotel mini fridges are usually subpar. The location wasn’t ideal for us because the train station was a 15 minute walk away but if you are driving, location wouldn’t be an issue. We did not explore Sarzana, this was used as a home base to explore Cinque Terre, and for the price, I believe this hotel is worth it.

We adored this apartment! It was perfect for our stay in La Spezia. Check in was easy and instructions were clear. The kitchen was well stocked with dishware and cleaning products, the beds were fabulously comfortable and the apartment was well decorated and clean. The housekeeper/manager was also extremely kind and made sure we were comfortable! Also, breakfast (coffee + pastry) was a nice touch at the cafe downstairs. 10/10!

I LOVE this place! It's right up the town of La Spezia. Excellent ”hide-away”, though it's a bit of a challenge to get there. Up the narrow winding road that leads up to this hidden gem of a location. Beautiful & fresh mountain views and excellent fresh mountain air! The beds were comfortable - firm which is to my liking & toilet was a decent size. Breakfast was surprisingly decently spread despite only 2 families being there (including myself) from 0800-1000. We were given the GND Floor room, which is superb because it opens up to the outdoor lounge are which overlooks the beautiful harbour of La Spezia. Don't expect much as there are no facilities - this is a 2 star hotel/accommodation.

This is a service apartment occupied the whole 4th floor without any elevator. The location is great, just between Piazza Colombo and Piazza Siro Carli with a lot of restaurants.  It’s a little bit far away from the train station, about 15 minutes walking. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

La Spezia is truly a beautiful city – it's very clean, and the people are super friendly. The accommodation is right above the train station, which couldn't be more convenient for visiting Cinque Terre. They offer free parking, but I accidentally parked in the wrong spot and got fined 10 euros by the parking attendant. Totally my bad, so everyone, learn from my mistake! There's an amazing steakhouse nearby called Nana; we had the most authentic Italian steak there, and it was incredible value for money. Overall, this place offers fantastic value, and the staff are really friendly. Highly recommend!

Perfect 2d1n stay if you are looking for a place to stay in cinque terre. First of all, the service was tip top by receptionist Nasrin! She was very warm and welcoming. She offered to keep our luggages and let us have a quick change after we check out. Other than that, the guest house is located strategically just 9 mins walk from La Spezia train station, next to the Main Street. The room was pretty spacious even for three! Room was clean, beds were perfect, toilet was spacious and we didn’t expect it has a sharing kitchen as well with utensils and coffee machine. Overall it was a perfect stay for us definitely!

Stayed at the hotel for two nights and it was super convenient! The place just few steps away from the train station which makes it easier when you travel with a bigger luggage. ＞ walkable distance to nice restaurants and shops ＞ few steps away from train station ＞ tasty breakfast, buffet ＞ friendly staff ＞ free luggage storage after and before check in I totally recommend!
