The room was big and spacious; there was a double bed and a set of twin beds. There were two small balconies from which you could see the national library. The toilet was ok, the shower would flood and there was a wooden beam kinda hanging loose. Unfortunately, the room is not soundproof and you can hear the noise from the upstairs and neighbouring rooms (especially the toilet noises).

Very nice experience staying at B&B hotel Venizia Laguna for visit to Venice. Reasonable price including buffet breakfast at Eur 55-60/night compared to other hotels directly in the Venice city center, it is located on the Tronchetto, for which you need to take either a People mover (monorail, Eur 1.5) or Vaporhetto (Eur 9.5/trip, Eur 25/day, Eur 35/2 days). Room is very clean, spacious. Service is friendly, special hats off to Andrea, the spanish lady at reception and restaurant staff in the kitchen who accomodated me when i mistakenly ordered my set dinner at 4 PM on arrival day, while the dinner service actually only starts at 5:30 PM. Only small downside is perhaps the charge of Eur 5/bag for left luggage after check out.
A completely normal hotel, nice team, friendly team, very nice and attentive, central area, especially right outside the door, a tram 10 minutes from Venice, downstairs there is a bar where you can have a nice breakfast, maybe a coffee and then have a drink in the evening, really good atmosphere.

The hotel was easy to get to from the station and it was centrally located so we could walk to many places easily.
The room had coffee and water facilities which was a nice addition after a long day.

Breakfast was decent, and they even had a DIY waffle station, which was fun. Perhaps because it was Carnival, it was very busy with lots of tour groups. They even set up an additional buffet area in a separate corner to manage the crowd during peak times.
The hotel is in a newly reclaimed area, making it quite remote. The only transport options are the water bus and the slow, driverless monorail. It's more suitable for those traveling by car or with a tour group.
However, Venice itself is quite small. If the weather is good and you don't mind walking a bit further, you can still reach the main city center on foot.

Staying here was the best decision I’ve ever made! Initially, I was sad because i can’t book the hotel near Venice main station (Venezia Santa Lucia). Hotels near main station are expensive, crowded, stairs and not easy to access. This hotel only 10 mins away from main station and the price is reasonable. Room is big and very clean. Walking distance from metro, restaurants, cafe and big supermarket nearby. We enjoyed our stay and 100% recommended! Bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste and slippers. Most of the hotels in Europe don’t provide those.
Overall, it is a good place and offers good value for the price. The service was good and the facilities were working properly.
The main drawback is the location, as it is a bit far from public transportation and the path to get there feels somewhat unsafe (but it is not). In addition, in our room the toilet cubicle was extremely small; when sitting down, your feet touched the door, which was uncomfortable.
Also, during check-in at rush hour (around 6–7 pm), they should have more staff available. We had to wait in line for about 20–30 minutes.
Despite these issues, it is still a good option if you don't care about walking 20 minutes to get into public transportation.

Great location and very clean room. Convenience and still quiet - 8 minutes walk to the train station and water bus station, surrounded by many shops, bars and restaurants. You can also store luggages if you have early check out. Need to carry luggages through stairs as no lift.

This hotel is located opposite St. Mark's Square, by the Salute port and church, requiring a boat ride to get there. It's very close to the Accademia Gallery and the Guggenheim Museum. The area is filled with art shops and galleries, and it's wonderfully quiet, away from the bustling commercial streets. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast is excellent, served from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

AAdam23We had a great experience staying at this hotel! Although it's rated as a three-star property, keep in mind that it’s three stars in Venice—which is definitely not the same as a three-star elsewhere. The charm and quality here exceeded our expectations.
You won’t find a lot of reviews about this hotel, but I did come across a YouTube vlog by a mother who shared her family stay here. She said it was a really good choice—and she turned out to be absolutely right!
We booked a Prestige Room with Canal View and specifically requested Room 101, which we saw on TikTok or YouTube (can't recall exactly where). The photos already impressed us, but the reality was even better. The ceiling was much higher than expected, which gave the room a beautiful, airy feel. The hotel still shows older pictures online, with an outdated TV, but we were happy to find a newer TV already installed.
The amenities were excellent—truly some of the best I’ve experienced in a hotel of this category. Breakfast was on the smaller side, but absolutely sufficient. The cakes and pastries were quite decent, and having them in such a beautiful, old-style interior made it feel like we were stepping back in time—in the best way possible.
A huge shoutout to the staff, who were all genuinely kind and accommodating. We felt their hospitality in even the smallest gestures, and it was very much appreciated.
Lastly, the location is unbeatable—just a short walk from the Rialto Bridge, close to everything. Being so near the heart of Venice made it easy to go out and explore, then return to rest and recharge. It's also conveniently close to shopping areas, which is a nice bonus.
All in all, this hotel was a hidden gem. If you're looking for a stay that combines charm, comfort, location, and authentic Venetian vibes, this is a fantastic choice. That mother on YouTube was right—it really is a great choice!
GGuest UserWe arrived at the most expensive hotel (AU$1600 for 3nts, 2 adults) we had ever stayed at, there was no lift to our room on the 1st floor.
I struggled to carry 2 suitcases with no assistance from the gentleman in reception up to the 1st-floor room. This would be very difficult if we were older & unable to carry our cases.
The wi-fi didn't work in the bedrooms only in the public areas - even though we were told it would.
The bedroom had multiple squashed mosquitos on the walls next to the bed.
The lace curtain had a couple of cigarette burns on it.
The bedcover had a cigarette burn on it.
The telephone handset cable was not connected to the .telephone - I tried to fix it but it wouldn't stay in the socket.
The safe was not working.
The instructions to use the safe were so old & worn out you couldn't read them.
The shower wouldn't work properly, so I had to call the person in reception to assist us in getting it working.
You had to get out of the shower cubicle to retrieve shower gel/shampoo/soap. There was nowhere in the shower to put these items. There was no room in the shower at all. I moved the stool in the bathroom to put my shower gel on it & two legs fell off the stool.
The toilet roll holder wouldn't hold the toilet roll and it kept falling off.
The bathroom bin was broken and filthy
The breakfast ran until 10 am, the bread ran out & was not replaced & this was before 9 am.
I am a travel agent & book many guests to stay in cities around the world including Venice
I was upset that this hotel was an extremely poor standard and felt like it ruined the end of my beautiful holiday in Italy.
We would be extremely grateful if you could offer us a credit for our next hotel booking with trip.com, we are in the process of booking our November Asia tour.
Kindest regards
❤❤️travellingMy flight was in the morning from MXP, so I left the hotel at 4 am. I asked the front desk at least 5 times about where is the ferry station and time table, which Lorenzo gave me very accurate answer and printed out the time table, indicated the station on map for me. However, the station that he gave me was wrong( I arrived 10 mins in advance ) so I missed the ferry at 4:21….there was absolutely no one in anywhere near the station so I desperately rushed back with my luggages to the hotel, where there is an older guy in the front desk said it’s the next station after the one Lorenzo gave me, which means one more bridge. Yet, I did ask this older guy before I left the hotel at 4 and he was very sure. When the second time i doubted him he said “ you can wherever u like lady!” There was no empathy, as if it’s none of their business! Second time I rushed to the correct station n took the ferry at 4:55 and I missed the train to Milan! Buying another italo ticket wasn’t a problem but it’s about life and limb! I’m just hoping the front desk could be more professional n check really carefully when they give suggestion. I would definitely miss my flight if there was no Italo fast train, plus I took taxi right after I arrived Milano centrale to make it!
Room was small couldnt open big luggage but it was clean, the cleaning lady deserved a big tip! I like they provide water and slippers. The view from my room is authentic.
The hotel is convenient if u r around San Marco square or you always have to go to bathroom.
If u r taking night ferry to Santa Lucia Train station Ferrovia, remember is on the right END station from San Marco, it’s another bridge u have to cross.
AAnonymous UserSimple but clean hotel. Staff is also kind. It was close to the station and 20 minutes walk from the real bridge, so it was easy to sightsee.
I was able to leave my luggage before check-in, but I was a little scared that it would be stolen because I just left it next to the receptionist, but it was okay.
In the room, there was a shower room, TV, refrigerator, valuable box, kettle, coffee and tea.
Check out was easy because I only left the key on the desk in the room.
GGuest UserWe found the location quite easily. It’s conveniently situated within a comfortable walking distance from the bus stop where the airport buses arrive, which was a big plus after traveling.
The administrator was very welcoming — we would especially like to thank her for the warm reception. We arrived before check-in time and were able to leave our bags, which was very convenient. When we returned at the scheduled time, we were able to access our room without any issues.
During our stay, renovation works started in a neighboring apartment (apparently upstairs). Because of this, there was a bit less natural light in our room, and we could hear construction noise in the mornings, which started quite early. It turned out that the host was not aware that the work would begin so early either.
We would like to especially highlight how the situation was handled. The host personally spoke with us, apologized, and managed to arrange for the work to start later. It was clear that our comfort truly mattered. For us, the situation was completely resolved.
The room itself met our expectations. It was spacious — not one of those layouts where you walk straight into the bed with the bathroom door right there. The room was warm thanks to central heating. The water pressure was excellent, and the bathroom was simple but cozy.
There was no breakfast option during our stay, but that did not significantly affect our overall experience.
We had a pleasant stay and are grateful for the hospitality. It is clear that guest comfort is a priority here — if you experience any issues or need assistance, don’t hesitate to ask.
GGuest UserThe environment is quite comfortable, and there is a microwave and cutlery available. The beds are comfortable! However, the water pressure was a bit slow and the shower was not comfortable enough!
GGuest UserIn general in accordance and fair to the price level in Venice at this point of the shoulder season. Real mages of the actual room were not available / not matching / not updated on the online offer. Current images are the same in different room categories / price categories (standard room having the same images like triple room etc.) and therefore misleading for the customer. When addressing the issue, one staff member was helpful / understanding, one was absolutely not and tried to blame me as a customer. Room facilities were okay, hot water takes quite some time to arrive in the shower, shower could have been cleaner, view towards the backyard is very messy (which is a pity as the backyard and garden could be beautiful) as currently used as storage space. Bed cover was stored very messy in the wardrobe where customers also supposed to hang their clothes. Luggage storage was available, yet very important values need to go separately into the reception, food was absolutely okay for the price range.
