3-Star Hotels in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea

The hotel is good. The room is spacious, good view from the window. We rented a room for two, but breakfast is offered only for one. Breakfast is good.

Had a great stay, the room was very clean, and the front desk service was excellent. It was also very convenient to find places to eat nearby.

Whether you are a counter staff or the boss, the response was good and friendly. I liked everything else in the hotel. As soon as I entered the room, I smelled like cigarettes. So I asked him to change the room right away. The changed room didn't smell cigarettes at first, but it was dizzy after a few hours, whether it was moving from another room through a ventilator or the like, or whether there was a furniture in the smell of cigarettes. I've been there for a few hours, but I'm sorry to change the room, so I just moved to the hotel and slept. Everything was good except that. I like the counter response, so I think I would have changed it if I asked to change the room. Anyway, everything was good except that. Breakfast seems to be simple and laundry is free. The rooftop is open 24 hours a day and the parking space is good. The room is also very big on TV.

It’s quite hard to find a hotel within my budget and with a bathtub around the Uijeongbu area. I booked this hotel because of some positive reviews, the availability of a bathtub, nearby restaurants and cafés within walking distance, and a check-in time that isn’t too late (some hotels only allow check-in at 9 p.m.). I arrived early (9 a.m.) and planned to leave my luggage and go sightseeing, but it was extremely cold and I was very sleepy, as I couldn’t sleep on the plane. The receptionists agreed to an early check-in for a fee (half the nightly rate). Upon check-in, they provided a personal kit (toothbrush, assorted creams, comb, razor, etc.). The room has a big TV, four speakers, a mini fridge, kettle, hair dryer, air purifier, air conditioning, and more (see photos). The heater works very well too. Instant coffee, tea, a coffee machine, and a microwave are available on the first floor and the 11th floor (rooftop), which also has tables and a laundry area. On every floor, just outside the rooms, there is a microwave and shared utensils for guests to use. The LRT station is only a five-minute walk away. For the price, it’s worth it if you’re okay with a late check-in.

Former Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it. The area around can be incredibly noisy, especially at night time, even up until 5 AM. If you're like me and like having the window open while sleeping, prepare to be waken up regularly by loud cars who think they are on the damn Nürburgring or people who like to yell/scream their lungs out at night for no reason. Pretty standard 40 bucks ish hotel for Korea.

I booked this accommodation to stay for one night while hanging out in Seoul, and the room was spacious and I was very satisfied with the cleanliness. The bathtub looked a bit dated, but it was clean and there were no issues using it. Above all, I was satisfied because the bathtub was large. The bed was also big and comfortable. The OTT connection method was a bit cumbersome, but it was manageable enough, so it was a satisfying stay.

I rrecently stayed overnight at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised at how much it felt like a luxury hotel experience. For a last minute booking the hotel was very accommodating. I was a bit skeptical with the first impression of the lobby giving a very motel vibe, as I went to my floor I was quite surprised as the look of the hallway was quite different than what I expected. Entering my room, I felt a very cozy and welcoming feeling (keep in mind). I do live in an apartment in another city in South Korea so I am used to the layouts of Korea apartments and I can say that the room was more of a studio type room with furniture than a hotel which for makes it more homey. Entering the room, they already provide indoor slippers. The layout with table and chairs and sink (what used to be a cooking area) gives it the studio apartment feeling. Very spacious and open and the TV (huge) is bigger than what most 5 star elegant hotels have. The bidet is on point and shower is a modern concept. They also provide a transformer for those who require or have electronics that require 110v charge.
