3-Star Hotels in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia

I've booked 2 rooms for my business trip with my colleague in Arena Hotel. One room for collegue is standard room which is cheaper than another superior room booked for my own stay. Surprisingly, when I compared both rooms, superior room is smaller and the facilities inside the room is lesser compare with another standard room I have, it doesnt come with a mirror above the working table and only have sofa chair provided in superior room. Called the front desk but they just claim that there's nothing wrong, in their floor plan the room I am staying is superior. They can't give me an explanation why I am paying more but get the smaller and lesser facilities room. Other than that, Arena Hotel is really worth the money,clean, comfortable and food tasted nice.

Overall pricing is really cheap, cant asks for more with such pricing. Friendly staffs. Not as bad as how some described. Maybe I'm lucky though. Air conditioner is working, water heater also working. Breakfasts provided with standard room cost. Not bad though. Basic amenities available too. Suitable for a short stay or stopover. The location is not too far from the city center which makes it convenience for travelling around. There are plenty of open parking lots on the premise. Breakfast spread is good and suprised that they even have hor fun as a breakfast item. Rooms are OK, with all the ammenities needed. Shower water pressure is good. Unfortunately during our stay, only a single elevator was working, but it was sufficient and did not impeded time too much.

We’ve check in late. Very tired and at the 1st place I’ve wrongly booked date. Should be book for that night but i’ve booked a few days after! The ladies (receptionist) mentioned i can cancel that oder and try new booking for that night.. Luckily with some evidence i’ve got my money back! We’re very happy with their services. I have problem my knee to climb stairs. & Their receptionist allow us to use one room in the ground floor! Love the simplicity of this place.. Love the kidness & politeness ladies receptionist.. Love much for the price! If u have tight budget for accomodation & short vacay I recommend this Clove Hotel for U! Simple yet cosy..

The hotel is so convenient as it is so near to the beach. After a day at the beach, we can just walk back and wash up (thanks to the pipes outside) and relax in the room. All the amenities are new. Suitable if you don't want to be queing to shower in the public restroom in Teluk Kemang or getting stuck in a traffic jam going home from that area if you are planning a day trip to Port Dickson. Better to stay overnight here. Will be back here again.

Small room with small bathroom but good enough to fit 2 beds for family. Walking space can be a bit tight but location is at its town.

A good, value for money transit hotel for a one night stay. Bedroom was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was not great but not too bad either. Hot shower was not hot at all though. Hot and cold drinking water dispenser available at public area. Overall was impressed with cleanliness of the place. And for RM100plus per room the hotel exceeded my expectations.

Bigger room. Friendly staff with smile .Reasonable price next to the hotel lots of eatery.But no lift for OKU .Most like the shower room and shower heather high pressure and very clean .Easy to get there with google map. Will back again to the hotel.

我們在這家酒店住得總體來說還行,我也推薦這家酒店,尤其是那些傾向於住靠近機場和港口酒店的人,但是這裏確實有些地方還有待改進。不錯的方面有:裝飾總體不錯,床上用品和廁所用品質量不錯,茶水很好喝,在汝來的位置也不錯。但是禮賓很差勁。 我詢問了一些關於威斯特敏斯特教堂的內部信息,但是衹得到了開放的時間。沒有早餐。但是我們的房間是奢華的大床房,而且窗戶的隔音效果很好,浴室也很寬敞。但是令我氣憤的是酒店的管道被破壞了,而且周六的時候附近會有抗議遊行。 大多數的酒店都會給客人關於行程的建議,也會幫助客人選擇備用路線,但是這家酒店沒有給出相應的通知,我們不得不最後變更計劃。我反饋給禮賓(跟之前的禮賓是同一個人)的時候,得到的回應是獃滯的目光。我們在這裏住得還不錯。

Location wise is ok, surrounded by restaurants and cafes, but noisy at night. Luckily we are not light sleepers. Public parking is a bit difficult at night, we had to turn few rounds around the hotel to get a parking lot. The worst part of the room --- dusty! Dusty on bed, on floor, on table... Basically whole room was dusty. I'm doubt when was the last time they did housekeeping for that room before we checked in. I have to use wet tissue to wipe around the room before I put my things on the table. Pillows and duvets were dusty as well. The room seems not cleaned for long time, but floor mat was wet when we enter the room. Toilet tissue almost finish, we have to ask for extra roll from reception.

The good: Checking in was a breeze, ample of parking space, nearby a fast food restaurant but lacked convenience store, the room was clean and aircond was cold, there was a kettle and hairdryer in the room but not fridge, there was a complimentary calming fruit tea given upon check in The bad: The aircond shut off automatically at night and I woke up sweating profusely, there were ants on the table that came out from nowhere, the tv channels were all blurry There’s nothing much to complain about as the bed was comfortable and good place to rest and recuperate. I would give this place a 4.5/5 star , if only the friendliness factor and food can be included in this establishment.

Very helpful staff and managers. The rooms are clean and comfortable, bed so comfy we extended our stay. The pool facilities are excellent very well maintained. It has a private beach in front of the hotel which is clean and very picturesque looking out to sea from the balcony. Breakfast was unbelievable, lots of choice from Malaysian food and we were offered a full American breakfast also. Amazing hotel quiet area of port dickson but not far to restaurants and shops. WiFi a little slow but not a big issue.

Went there on a business trip. Arrived late around midnight but colleague had save my key for the room. Parking was sufficient. Had some trouble finding my room as I thought the signage wasn't enough or not place strategically. Along the way to find my room, there's a loud music which I thought was from the hotel sound system but upon reaching my room, the source of the noise was from a parking site across the street. Even inside my room, I can heard the music & it was well over 1 am. The room has old carpeting with basic furniture overlooking the hotel's car park.The carpet felt thinning, sticky in some places and looked sad. Air-conditioner was functioning along with other items like television and kettle. Wardrobe had a trouble with its sliding door as it won't slide properly and almost fall off. Room was decent other than those things. Bed looked clean but one of the pillow need a pillowcase changed. The personalize note welcoming guest from our organisation along with 2 wraps of dodol, a local delicacies is not enough to overlook the state of the room. Bathroom was small with shower cubicle kinda blocking the bathroom's door. Toilet may got pressure problem as after flushing there's a loud pumping sound. The worst thing comes later that morning when I trying to take the shower but no water came out of the shower head. The knob on the shower just drip some water but the shower doesn't show it was functioning nor broken. Ended up taking shower from the water pipe near the toilet. Breakfast buffet was average with little food to choose from but acceptable. Taste was decent. Waiters were attentive to pick up dishes left on the table. Not much communication between staffs and guest. Just among themselves. Not just in the coffee house but among the cleaners and receptionist too. Quickly check out when function was over.

A pleasant view to wake up to facing the sea front and enjoying the breeze. McDonald is nearby for breakfast and in the evening, this place is full of revellers. There is also a children playground nearby which turns into a night market on a Saturday night.

I’ve stayed here previously and it was very good but this time the experience was not so good. I was welcomed to an unpleasant smelling room, the bathroom wasn’t very clean, the fridge had condensation which left a small puddle on the floor, the WiFi did not work in the room and to top it off the key card stopped working and maintenance had to be called to let me in the room after a tiring day. So overall a very unpleasant stay this time.

The location is great for both those who like fast food like MacD. Starbucks as well as for those who prefer local delights. The sea view is great and one can feel the atmosphere of kids playing, people strolling along the beach and anglers waiting for a catch from their rods. There is TF supermarket just behind, and a little further back was pasar malam (night market) on the Saturday night that we were there. This night market is really vibrant and bustling with people and we enjoyed the home cooked dim sum (12 pieces for rm10 - really value for money) and Taiwan style oyster mee sua. Unfortunately we spent so much time there that we missed watching the sunset from our room. One minus is that there were no refrigerator in the room. Hope the owner will consider adding this into the executive triple as there is enough space for it. Then we can enjoy ice cold beer at the balcony looking out into the sea.

The location is good, with many shops, hospital, and palm Seremban shopping center mall that can meet your needs and get all necessary things, such as delicious food and other daily necessities. The hotel staff are all kind and friendly. Finally, it’s a 2 star hotel, so don't expect too much. Enjoy!

The good: the location is surrounded by eatery and convenience stores, parking is readily available, checking in and out is a breeze, decent sized room with cool air conditioning The bad: the room and bed positioning is a little awkward and felt a bit uncomfortable being in the room, toilet has very basic things without toothbrush sets, without a window and the hotel is very much like a shoplot with partitioned rooms Overall, it was okay to sleep for a night for solo travellers but maybe not for families as the soundproofing is not very good
