The location is superb, right by the Kuching Waterfront, and just a few steps out the door is the bustling Chinatown - Carpenter Street. The famous Sarawak State Legislative Assembly building is also nearby.
Secondly, the environment is great, the hotel is very clean, and the staff are very friendly. I forgot my facial cleanser and shower gel, but the front desk staff quickly found them and returned them to me before I checked out, which I really appreciated.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Kuching!

Nothing fancy but very practical and strategically located hotel at the riverside. Good for business or couple. The room is clean, mattress is solid and the shower pressure is so far the best over my years of travelling. The rates are the better one as compared to other neighbors. The reception is also friendly. 7-11 convenient stall located opposite hotel entrance.

Surrounded by eatery outlets. Ample of public car parks at front and rear of the hotel. Easy to find food. The hotel also has a popular Outright Coffee that quite crowded but I didn't try. Definitely will consider staying the same hotel again when visiting Sibu.

Arrived very early and had no issues checking-in early, process was quick and smooth. Location is excellent, within walking distance to many iconic cat statues, the Waterfront and many food spots. The room was clean, felt very new and well kept. Housekeeping staff even left a welcome note. The only downside is the speed of the lift, it can be bit slow as there is only one for guests. Overall, a lovely experience and would definitely stay here again if visiting Kuching.

Overall it is an old hotel, it is quite cleaned, spacious, TV not much channel. The lighting inside is moderate, not too bright, not too dim. The breakfast however was not so good, not many choices and there is no meat. Got rice but no meat and vege.

I had a great stay at RH Hotel Sibu. The room was quite spacious for Melacca. Location is very convenient as it was near to city. I will surely comeback and highly recommend to my friends.

WWeeThe hotel is nice and new. Room also good and spacious at this price. Comfortable stay. But during my stay, my room air-conditioning was happened in water leak. After the technician maintain, and leak again. Eventually they changed a room for me. The breakfast buffet is nice. Keep up the good job. Must stay in price competitive.

During my recent stay, I had the pleasure of experiencing one of the most spacious and well-equipped rooms I’ve ever booked within this price range. The room was exceptionally huge, offering more than enough space to move around freely without feeling cramped or cluttered. Whether you’re traveling solo, with a partner, or even with family, the room size can easily accommodate extra luggage or a few hours of in-room activities without making the space feel overcrowded.
One of the first things I appreciated was how clean and organized everything was upon arrival. The bed was neatly made, the floor spotless, and all surfaces dust-free. The layout of the room was practical, with the furniture arranged in a way that made the space feel both functional and cozy. The bed was large and comfortable, providing excellent rest after a long day. The pillows and blankets provided were also of good quality, not too stiff and not too soft—just right for a peaceful night’s sleep.
Amenities in the room were impressive and met all basic needs for a comfortable stay. Firstly, the hot water functioned perfectly, which is always a plus point in any accommodation. Some places advertise hot showers only for you to find lukewarm water at best—but not here. The water pressure was just right, and the shower area was clean and equipped with enough towels and toiletries to last through the stay.
Another amenity that stood out was the mini fridge. This was particularly convenient as I was able to store snacks and drinks to enjoy at my leisure. It worked well and was clean inside—no foul smells or leftover stains. It's always great to have a functioning fridge in the room, especially for longer stays.
There was also a television available in the room, which offered a decent selection of channels. While I didn’t spend too much time watching TV, it was a nice option to have, especially if you're planning on relaxing in the room for the evening. The remote worked, and the image quality was clear with no issues in signal.
Small touches like a clothes rack, a mirror, and a desk or table were also present, which added to the practicality of the room. It was easy to keep things organized and have a spot to sit down and work or eat if needed.
Overall, I would say this stay was well worth the value. The room was not only large and comfortable but also thoughtfully equipped with everything one might need for a short or even extended stay. It’s clear that attention was paid to guest comfort and convenience. My comment would be for breakfast. Hopefully the staff can refill the food faster, it's breakfast time, the food already finished but the staff doesn't seem to want to refill, even refills also take a long time for them to do so...

MMarie BumaOur room was ok but I was not happy with the toilet bowl. The water from the flushing cistern is not strong thus making the toilet paper accumulate in the toilet bowl. This doesn't only happen in our room but we also notice the same problem for the female public toilet at the lobby area.

GGuest UserI found that this hotel has been operating for a long time. However, the cleanliness of this hotel is well-maintained for the comfort of guests coming here. I stayed in a Premier king room at a very reasonable price. I got a spacious room with space and sofa. As for the room comfort, I am very satisfied. The large king-sized bed made my sleep very comfortable. I stayed here for 3 night. Each day, I returned from the city to find the room had been cleaned and the towels and other items replaced. I am very satisfied. Besides being located in the middle of Bintulu city, there are also plenty of parking spaces

Good:
1. The staff are attentive and proactive, following up with calls to confirm late check-ins or arrivals.
2. A wide variety of breakfast options is available.
3. The price is reasonable—around RM287.98 per night including tax for the Deluxe King Room during a regular weekend (non-public holiday); the room is spacious.
4. Free Wi-Fi is provided and easily accessible, with good connectivity.
5. Complimentary buggy service is available to transfer between the villa and the new building.
6. Check-in and check-out processes are smooth and efficient.
7. The environment is quiet at night.
8. Lift access is available, or guests can use the staircase.
Areas for Improvement:
1. The bedsheets were not clean and had visible dirt and marks.
2. The flooring near the bathroom was damaged.
3. The adult swimming pool is often crowded with children playing rather than swimming, making it less relaxing for adults.
4. During weekends, food runs out quickly with no immediate top-up, waiting times for food and coffee are long, and there are insufficient tables for guests to sit comfortably.
In short Summary
Pros: attentive staff, smooth check-in/out, good Wi-Fi, spacious room, quiet at night, breakfast variety, buggy service, lift access.
Cons: unclean bedsheets, damaged flooring, adult pool crowded, slow food service on weekends.

GGuest UserHotel has an aesthetic look, including inside the rooms. However, the mattress and pillows are not the most ideal; mattress is the normal spring type, which didn't provide much support, and pillows are the microfiber type (I had neck pain after a night of sleeping on one).
Queen rooms are all facing in the direction of the traffic light , which was quite the nightmare for a light sleeper. Room windows provided no soundproofing at all, so I got no sleep till 1-2am on the first night due to constant revving of delivery motorbikes from around the junction at the traffic light (which could be heard a few times in just 1 min).
Service from staff however proved to be tip top as they attended most professionally to my complaint on noise and got me a change of rooms to the quieter side of the building.
Breakfast spread was good, with a completely different main menu on the buffet over the 2 days that I was there, and delicious as well.
