3-Star Hotels in Khomas, Namibia

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Uhland during my visit to Windhoek. The hotel is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, yet it is close enough to the city center to reach the main attractions and restaurants within a short drive or walk. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing. The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, and reliable Wi-Fi. Although the furnishings are somewhat traditional, everything was well maintained and functional. The bed was comfortable, and I had a good night’s sleep every night. One of the highlights of my stay was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with transportation, local recommendations, or any questions I had. Their hospitality made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was another enjoyable part of the experience. The buffet offered a good selection of fresh fruit, bread, eggs, local specialties, and coffee, providing a satisfying start to each day. I also appreciated the hotel’s beautiful garden and outdoor swimming pool, which created a relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Hotel Uhland offers excellent value for money. It may not be a luxury hotel, but its cleanliness, friendly service, convenient location, and comfortable facilities make it an ideal choice for travelers visiting Windhoek. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm and affordable place to stay in Namibia.

The guesthouse is conveniently located within a short drive of the city center, shopping areas, and several restaurants, making it an excellent base for both business travelers and tourists. Despite being close to the city, the property has a calm and relaxing environment that feels like a home away from home. Overall, Tilla’s Guesthouse offers excellent value for money with comfortable accommodation, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere. A comfortable hotel with delicious breakfasts. The location isn't entirely convenient for the city center, but it boasts a large property with multiple pools. The on-site restaurants are open until 10 PM and offer tasty lunch and dinner options. Room cleaning is excellent. There's also a shopping mall with all sorts of stores within walking distance.

The hotel is conveniently located near the city center and offers good access, while its residential location ensures a quiet stay. The room was spacious and well-cleaned, so I had no complaints regarding hygiene. However, I was dissatisfied with the fact that the water and milk in the refrigerator were in containers with lids that didn't appear very clean.

The hotel is very spacious and set in a pleasant environment. The restaurant is lovely, and the food is generally good, though breakfast was just average with limited variety. The staff were helpful, but we were disappointed with the transfer options offered. For example, a one-way ride to the city center costs 100 Namibian dollars through the hotel, while a public taxi charges only 60. Similarly, we were quoted 800 Namibian dollars for an airport transfer—which we found unreasonably expensive—so we arranged our own taxi for just 300. We don’t mind paying a bit extra for the convenience or safety of booking through the hotel, but nearly triple the normal price just doesn’t sit right with us. This left us quite dissatisfied.

Standard facility. Great location. Near to the international airport road. Breakfast was disappointing. Not advisable to include breakfast when booking. Otherwise, all other facilities were okay.

The hotel receptionist is kind and courteous, and there are welcome drink and wet towels available when checking in. The room is large and clean. Hotel location is good, next to large shopping malls and supermarkets, very convenient. For travelers who arrive in Namibia on the first day of a long journey by car, it is an ideal place to rest and prepare for a long journey afterward.

It took quite a while to walk to the supermarket. Also, there was construction going on during the day. There was a toilet that didn't lock. Other than that, it was clean and comfortable.

A very special place with a beautiful cactus garden. Nature magic, silence, wild animals in the area. The bed is comfortable. It is necessary a car to enter and out. I was without, and it is a problem. The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable.

The overall experience of staying this time is not bad, I would give it a score of 70 points. The location of the hotel is quite convenient and the surrounding facilities are relatively complete. The room is generally clean and sanitary conditions need to be improved. The bed comfort was average and sleep quality was okay. Overall, the price/performance ratio is okay, but there is room for improvement.
