I understand why reviews of this hotel are so mixed. I first stayed in the newer part - a beautiful room on the 3rd floor, overlooking the beach. The room was clean, new and sparkling. There was a modern key card lock system, a fabulous bathroom and great views. Then, I was transferred to a room in the older section. Here, the bathroom had only a hand held shower head, the grout was discolored and the water didn't drain well, leaving me standing in a puddle while using the sink. The wood furniture and floor was scuffed and worn. The door lock used a key and was a bit flimsy. That said, it had a balcony overlooking the beach that offered the same great views. Avoid the first floor, as others have said, because people walk by on the way to breakfast and there is little privacy. El Nido beach is very busy, with walkers, vendors, even motorcycles, so be sure to get a higher floor.

Good wstay overall, a few hiccups here and there but staff were doing their best to deliver quality services, no major issues. We stayed at the ocean view room which is fantastic to wake up with morning view or sunset view. They could have done better to make sure the room is ready at check in time. Restaurant food was actually really tasty and well done, highly recommend to spend at least a lunch and dinner at the hotel. Airport transfer was also comfortable and staff didn’t mind stopping us at the locations on the way. I also booked island tours at the hotel which was made easy and quick, no hassle looking for one outside.

A group of us stayed here the night of arriving in PP before embarking our scuba liveaboard and chose the hotel as it was where the liveaboard company did a town pick up from. Simple accommodation, but clean and functioning. Very spacious rooms - we had 4 girls sharing one room with two double beds. The bathroom/shower was a little tired but I only had one quick shower. A pretty garden surrounding a pool - I didn't end up swimming as it was quite a hot, muggy, grey day and the pool was more warm than refreshing in that moment, but I also only spent about 18 hours total at the hotel so if I was there longer I would definitely have had some pooltime. It was cute watching some local kids have a mermaiding lesson. The restaurant is not set up for large orders so bear that in mind timing wise - it is a one chef kitchen. If you are landing at 7pm or later make sure you request the chef stay if you want dinner on site as they will otherwise leave at 9pm. The chicken & mushroom pasta was good. Breakfast was also good - fruit, pancakes and egg, but only instant coffee. I particularly liked the access to free drinking water refill - there is a cooler in the dining area. The staff were helpful - with the chef staying late for us, helping us call to book some massages down the road at Nuat Thai Spa, helping me get a bowl of rice for lunch when I tried to order when the kitchen was backed up we made a plan B. Location is a bit further down in the quiet end of Manalo St. It isn't far to walk up to the part with restaurants, coffee shops and the spa, but I probably wouldn't have done that walk alone as a female in the dark so I would stay here with a group more than solo. I'm sure it is very safe, but as a general rule of thumb I don't walk alone in the dark down quiet streets. After the liveaboard I stayed in the 'busier' part of Manalo St. Would I stay here again - well if in PP I would probably go to my second hotel as a repeat customer as it was just nicer all around (but also cost double the price). However, Acacia is perfectly adequate for the price point if you are looking for accommodation close to the airport or the boat pier in southern PP at a very reasonable price and it is true to the pictures.

Excellent place for staycation with family and loved ones if you want a place where you can relax and breathe sea breeze with nice ambience. Has friendly, approachable and professional hotel staffs, rooms are opened using a key card - spacious with minimalist designs, beds and comforters are nice, with free water bottles, water heater and coffee. Also comes with clean toilet with free toiletries (towel, toothbrush & toothpaste, comb, razor, soap, shower cap & vanity kit [cotton buds] also includes free rubber slippers for all around and comfy use) as well as hair dryer/blower attached at the side of bathroom mirror, the room also has a vault safety box, flatscreen TV and mini refrigerator. The buildings have elegant structures. They also have really great swimming pool area! We got a room that is pool access and it made our stay more wonderful. Foods are delicious. Great buffet set up. Sunset can be watched at the rooftop of the gazebo near the seashore. You can borrow and ride a bicycle inside the hotel premises and do kayaking if the sea is high tide. Very nice and instagrammable place! Will definitely come back here for sure.

El nido, Palawan is one of the tourist spots visited in the Philippines. With that being said my Family decided to go on a vacation in this place. The moment we arrived in Puerto Princesa airport it was exhilarating imagining what more there is when we arrive in El Nido. From there we had a roundtrip airport shuttle provided for a surcharge which is available upon request. We stayed in El Nido Garden Resort hotel for four nights and we had the best experience. The place was spacious and immaculate, the staff were accommodating, the food was amazing and the view was breathtaking. Outside you can take a stroll and or swim even at night since they have a swimming pool. You can do recreational activities there and wrap it up with a drink at their mini lounge/bar. Their location is very accessible to many Beaches if you wanted to visit some such as Lio and Nacpan. At night you can also come to restaurants around the area but I assure you the foods in this hotel are enough to satisfy your tongue. They are open at 7-9 AM, your hunger will surely be gone. They have big air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen televisions each. Every room has private balconies and you can even hang your damp clothes there! Private bathrooms have showers complimented with toiletries and hair dryers. You can make yourself at home there and relax while taking some time off.

I've stayed in this hotel before, and I keep returning since it's affordable, safe, and has decent rooms and a spacious parking lot—features that other hotels in Palawan lack.I've recently noticed that they no longer offer airport service, although they have contacts for taxi drivers in case you need one. However, it would be great if they could add the airport pickup and drop-off once more for a hassle-free trip, especially for those visiting Palawan for the first time .Being somewhat honest, some taxis, vans, and tricycles take advantage of tourists by charging them more than the normal.

The hostel staff is great, very accommodating, helpful, smiling and always greets us. This is the best hostel I have experienced so far. We stayed for 3 nights and the room is very clean. They always clean it every day and when we were gone doing a tour outside, our room was already clean with new towels. I love the nice design of the hotel as well as the breakfast, which is good. I enjoyed their unlimited pasta for dinner. Lastly, it's very near the town proper, within walking distance. We only have issues with the door lock, but the staff was very fast to fix it, which is excellent. Highly recommended!

It was peaceful and quiet people are so good and kind service was good for me you really relax and the stuff will well take care of the guest so well .... and the view was awesome im speechless during the sunset at the rooftop we recommend to others abd we'll be back see ya panja resort palawan

I recently attended the October Fest at Canvas Hotel with my friends, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel had a wide variety of cocktails and delicious food options, including some mouthwatering pizzas. It's an awesome place for bonding and having a great time. One highlight was the ”Chill Night” they host every Friday, which added to the fun and made the evening even more enjoyable. The hotel itself was in great condition, clean, and well-maintained, which definitely enhanced our experience. I must give a special shoutout to the waiters at Canvas. They were all incredibly accommodating and made our visit even more enjoyable. Also, a big thanks to Ms. HR for arranging this wonderful bonding. She's always so accommodating, and it's greatly appreciated. Overall, our time at Canvas Hotel was a blast. We had a lot of fun and genuinely enjoyed ourselves. I'm now looking forward to planning a staycation with my family there and will definitely recommend it to my relatives and friends. It's a place where good times are guaranteed!

Sheridan is budget friendly boutique. Staff are courteous and the management is so understanding, they let us extend our check out up to 4pm with no additional.. Rooms 8:/10 Breakfast 7/10 Staff 10/10

This place is obviously still struggling from the effects of the Covid lockdowns. The staff is the best part of this place. The air conditioner is undersized & has a daylight gap all around it. The room refrigerator is worthless because its electric circuit shuts down when you leave the room. Who wants to come back from a trip & grab a warm drink from the ref? Breakfast buffet is pretty slim. They post signage asking you to conserve water, but they don't even include water saving faucets or shower heads. And then there were the bugs. If I had known that they are offering 'Hourly Rates' I would have avoided this place.

Puerto Princess had planned a hand nido journey for the day after our flight k.1 We stayed at night and preferred a fersal hotel. I can tell you that there is a very clean and comfortable facility.Rooms are wide and pleasant.From hotel to the city center with tricycle 5 You can reach in a minute. The facility also offers free breakfast.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Suites Palawan, and despite a few minor inconveniences, I am delighted to give it a well-deserved 5-star rating. Let's start with the positives. The price-point of this hotel is truly commendable, offering exceptional value for money. I found myself in need of a last-minute stay due to a late arrival at the airport, and Holiday Suites Palawan proved to be the perfect solution. The room I secured for a small price exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and relaxation. One notable highlight is the hotel's strategic location just outside Robinsons Place Palawan. This convenience allowed me to easily access shopping and dining options without hassle. The proximity to the airport further adds to the hotel's appeal, making it a practical choice for travelers with late arrivals or early departures. Now, addressing the minor drawbacks. I did notice the absence of a spoon in the room, despite the presence of cutlery and complementary coffee. Additionally, the fridge in the room had a slight issue with closing properly. While these details are worth mentioning, they did not significantly detract from the overall positive experience I had at Holiday Suites Palawan. In conclusion, Holiday Suites Palawan offers a fantastic balance of affordability, comfort, and convenience. Despite the minor room quirks, the value for money and the hotel's strategic location easily warrant a 5-star rating. This was our third time at Moringa, great central location in El Nido. Fantastic environment with a cozy beautiful pool in front of our patio room. From the room you have direct access to the garden and the pool, a full immersion in Palawan beauty. An amazing Italian restaurant Giovanni’s with his great pizza and Lasagna was the cherry on the cake, if you are lucky you can meet the restaurant owner and listen to his stories of the worldwide tour and Max the owner who was very careful to our needs. The staff was very friendly. We booked with them two weeks and will surely be back. Thierry & Stefania

The rooms are advertised as 50 sq meters but they are not even close. Roughly half the size of that (see photos). The hotel is also old and noisy (Doors and windows are thin, we were awoken constantly from inside and outside the hotel). Our room had ants everywhere. We told the front desk, and they didn't care. Also the curtains fell off the wall and they put them back up but we couldn't open them. They said they'd come repair, but never did. Breakfast has a lovely view, but the food was a poor assortment of bad tasting items. Sadly the room has a lovely view of the mountains, but also has a view of trash (see photos). Finally, they have the most annoying policies, asking for deposits for a 2nd keycard to get into your room or for towels. That's right, they will give you the first key card without requiring a deposit. But if you are 2 people and want another, they are worried about you losing it and want a deposit. What happens if I lose the first one? No fee? Trying to explain anything to the front desk people is a waste of time. All nods and smiles but no comprehension. I even asked a supervisor to contact me so I could discuss their policies but of course no one reached out during all the 3 days I was there. On a positive note the place is in the perfect location and the staff is at least friendly. They offer offer free water on each floor. And they provided a free shuttle to and from the airport which was a nice touch. It is for these three things I upped them from one to two stars. You'd be better off staying across the street at their brand new sister property (same owner).

A real mixed bag here, the location is good and the rooms are large, clean, beds comfortable and the ac works well. The staff are friendly. Those are the positives. The food, breakfast in particular is atrocious for a hotel in this price range the restaurant staff idle about playing on their phones. The rooms were cleaned very late in the day on several occasions. The internet is weak from the rooms.Whilst the front desk staff are friendly they are pretty clueless and on wanting to escalate certain issues I am told that the management are based in Puerto Princessa. With good management and a complete overhaul of the menu and some internet boosters this could be a great hotel.

The island hopping course takes one day and includes lunch. Also, normally we would have to pay in cash, but before going to El Nido, my wife and I spent more cash than we had planned in Manila, so we asked if we could pay by card, and she happily agreed, and the woman who owned the hotel was really kind. was. I've been to many places in the Philippines, but I think El Nido is the only place with a spectacular view and quietness. In addition to island hopping, there were also zip lines, sea kayaks, power boat drifts, oil massages, and flexible bar service. Of all the resorts I've visited in the Philippines, personally, this was the best and homely hotel I've ever visited.

We had amazing experience staying at CADLAO RESORT, when we arrived they sent tuktuk for pick up and upon arrival they guided really well throughout.. they arranged nice anniversary setup in room for us . They offered free cocktails from. 3-5 pm and you can watch best view while enjoying the cocktails at restaurant. This resort has 3 pools for each room location… staff is very courteous.. rooms are comfortable.. overall we had great stay.. i will definitely recommend this for families and couples. We were undecided on where to stay in El Nido but kept coming back to Isla Amara and decided to book. We are so glad we chose this hotel. We were given a family room. It was clean and spacious. Breakfast was good and different every morning. Now for the location - WOW. STUNNING. 50 metres from one of the most beautiful beaches I have seen. Palm trees, white sand and crystal clear water very safe for swimming. Lots of restaurants and bars with gorgeous views and all the lanterns from the palm trees at night gave it a magical feel. The sunsets were beautiful. It's about 20 minutes by trycicle from El Nido town but feels a world away. I would recommend Isla Amara and Lio Beach if you are looking for a relaxing getaway.
