There is no lift, so prepare yourself to carry your luggage up. Located right in front of the train station, very convenient as we're travelling out of Krakow at 4am by train. Room is very very small but equipped with amenities. There's no place to even open our luggage, we had to put it under our beds. Comfortable, comes with Aircond and heater. Toilet is also small even for a petite size. It is also very near to the old town square.

Google Maps says it's an 18-minute walk from the central station, but it actually takes less than 10 minutes. It's located in the old town, and all the sights are within walking distance. The breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. The restaurant recommended by the front desk was also excellent. Some of the front desk staff had strong accents which made them a bit difficult to understand at times, but there were usually two people working, and one was always fluent, so it wasn't an issue. There's no fridge or safe box, but the room was clean and quiet.

Although transportation isn't the most convenient, it's easily accessible by light rail. The room was very spacious and clean, with an iron and vacuum cleaner provided outside. The bathroom was also quite clean. However, the check-in instructions weren't very clear; they should have explained how to use the elevator, which made check-in a little inconvenient, but overall it was quite good.

The hotel is in a great location between Auschwitz and Energylandia. It is a really nice hotel. Unfortunately, they are not so good at keeping it clean. In the 5 days we were there, they didn't even manage to refill the toilet paper in the room. We had to do it ourselves. There is a restaurant below the hotel and our room was right above it. Loud music played in the garden until 11 p.m. You would have thought the music was in our room, it was so loud. Otherwise, the room was really big. The fridge in the room was also very loud, so you couldn't sleep. We turned it off. The breakfast buffet was OK. I've seen better ones, but also much worse ones. You can see that the hotel is a bit old. But overall, it was good for the price.

It was a corner room. There was a balcony and I was able to wake up with Asahi and a good view. The bathroom is clean. The interior of the room was elaborate and even more cozy. Location is good, less than 10 minutes walk from the bustling street and access is good. I was traveling alone, and I didn't research much, and when I asked the reception for hiking courses, he politely told me.

The hotel is located near the Wawel castle, with river view and old town, very close to the places to travel. You make a wonderful slope in the mornings. They have clean and comfortable rooms. Especially the staff friends at the reception are very close and helpful. You can stay closed. Also they are offering welcome drinks at the roof bar on the first day.

Booked a room with one double bed, but at check in given a long narrow room with three single beds along the walls and little space between, at the reception my claims were dismissed quite indifferently. All the rest about the hotel was OK and even good: central location with comfortable walking distance to the main transport facilities, very tasty sumptious breakfast with friendly staff, good internet and cosy inner courtyard.

The hotel is well situated in the old quarter. Very convenient for getting around. The tram stop is right out front. Our room was an odd setup. Twin beds positioned on different walls, more like for college roommates than a couple. The rooms aren't big, but they have kettle, closet, and a compact bathroom. It met our needs, with no extras, e.g., fridge or USB charging plugs. Breakfast buffet has many options. It caters primarily to European tastes, but there are scrambled eggs and toasts for those who prefer a hot breakfast. The coffee options are plentiful and there were several types of tea. At $25CDN per person, we found it on the high side. Tip: On arriving at the hotel we were faced with a long flight of stairs. With 2 large suitcases, it was a bit daunting. However, if you follow the sidewalk to the other side there is a ramp. Definitely a better option for people with bad knees or heavy bags.

YYana MontenegroOur stay was perfect. We were looking for the closest hotel to the airport, as my husband wasn’t feeling well and we missed our flight. The receptionist were amazing trying to help us with making my husband feeling more comfortable. Breakfast seems to have a good selection, but unfortunately we couldn’t have it. Extremely clean rooms.

UUrszula ZiółkowskaA wonderful, cozy apartment in the very heart of Zakopane, a few steps from Krupówki and other attractions. It's very convenient both for hiking and skiing, as it is very easy to get from there to Tatra Mountains trails and ski lifts. Also, a very helpful lady at the main reception desk. I would gladly return to this place.

GGuest UserThe positives. The hotel was modern, well positioned from the central square, and the rooms were spotless. The breakfast was good quality with a diverse choice. The negatives. A member of the cleaning staff walked into my room early morning without knocking. I believe she didn't realise the room was occupied. I was in my underwear in my bed exposed. It caused much embarrassment to me and her. I made a complaint. However, it was brushed aside, and there was no apology. From the staff member at reception. I ordered in food, and when it was delivered by the outside restaurant, it was left to sit at the hotel reception. When I eventually received a call from the desk via my moibile, the meal was cold and ruined. The receptionist claimed she had called my room telephone - she hadn't. Another incident with the cleaning staff, they threw my water bottle away when they cleaned the room. I asked where it was, and they went rifling through the black bags. I was totally shocked that they thought they could put my possession in the garbage. The staff can be abrupt, Each job sector is very dislocated from the other, so it feels quite cold in the atmosphere of the hotel. If they could address the harmony of the staff, then the place would feel more welcoming.

GGuest UserI really liked the Columbus Hotel. It's just a few minutes' walk from Grzegorzki train station, which is the next stop after the main station Rynek, coming from the airport. I was in a twin room with a balcony, bathtub, fridge, complimentary water, toiletries. Lovely, bright and clean, comfy beds and nice bedding. Breakfast was delicious. The scrambled egg and little sausages were so tasty. The cakes were lovely with coffee afterwards. Also cereal, meats, cheese, fruit, yoghurt and breads and juices. Lovely and quiet, never heard a sound from other guests in their rooms. A real calm and relaxed vibe. There's also an outdoor seating area and a shop across the road. The tram stops are just to the side and are so easy and frequent. Ticket machines are at the stop, or you can pay on board. Don't forget to validate your ticket. Great base for exploring the Jewish quarter and ghetto, Schindler Factory Museum and don't miss the Plaszow guided tour, a highlight so far. Tram 3 and 24 takes you there from outside hotel and coats 4 zlotys. They are in the process of building a museum there, so it's going to be much busier in the future. Go now while its not as well known. I would definitely return to Columbus hotel, an excellent choice, enjoy!

ZZeca28PROS *Lovely spacious rooms with nicely refurbished bathrooms. *The breakfast area looks presentable with a fairly decent selection. *Bottled water is provided daily, you just have to make sure you hang the sign to request to clean the room. *Hotel is centrally located right by the square. It’s near grocery stores, restaurants, donut/pastry shops & souvenir shops. CONS *The carpets “looked” dirty & old, not very pleasing to look at but they’re not - just gives that impression! *The main downside for me is the noise. Our room was facing the front which is where pedestrians walk through to the square. Earplugs were supplied by Hotel but they didn’t make a difference. There were loud revellers until 4:30am daily, then once that ends, the delivery trucks & refuse collectors pass through which were just as loud! Needless to say I didn’t get a full night sleep for 4 nights. Overall, it’s a clean & very reasonably priced hotel. May I also add we are a group that booked 4 rooms. 2 rooms were in the quiet side but the other 2 were in the noisy part. Not all rooms are the same. However, if you can sleep through anything then this wouldn’t be as much of an issue as it was for me.

The staff are all accommodating and very helpful in providing you information about the City (krakow). Ppdp11This is a nice small apartment. The kitchen has a saucepan and frying pan with a few utensils, which are enough for basic cooking. The fridge is handy. The shower is warm and has good pressure. The air conditioning works. I was on the top floor. There's a lift. I had a balcony overlooking the cemetery. The basement has a washing machine but I didn't try it. It's about a 12 minute walk to Krakov Glowny station. From there, it's about 10 minutes to the main square and another 20 minutes to the old town. Communication with the property owner was good and generally fast. Contrary to the Trip listing (May 2026), this apartment has no front desk. As I later read in a review, it's self check-in. Unfortunately, the instructions weren't sent to me. I called the property when I was there and they sent them via WhatsApp. Make sure you have the instructions before you go! I wasted time trying to use the QR code on the front door. This is not for the apartment. I wanted to extend my stay but the property was booked. I left my water bottle behind. The owner arranged for the service staff to meet me the following day to return it.

GGuest UserIt's about a 5-minute walk from Krakow Central Station, and about a 10-minute walk from Krakow's Old Town, and other tourist attractions are within walking distance. There's a convenience store just a 1-minute walk away. The building is old, as it's close to the Old Town. The staff are cheerful and friendly. I also went to the Auschwitz Concentration Camp Museum and the Weliczka Salt Mine, so I would be using Krakow Central Station as a base for sightseeing, so it was important that the hotel was close to the station. I decided on this hotel because it was the best value for money. It turned out to be a good choice. By the way, there is no air conditioning or refrigerator. This is common in Europe.
