"The site has a fantastic view, it was all clean.
The only problem was the shared bathroom, in the photo of the ad, room 06 appeared to be the only with private bathroom.
But I had no, there caused some discomfort in the night to go to the pq bathroom I had to leave the room and I ended making noise.
Well, but the place had a so privileged and super well-located view that we ended up cutting in the same way."

Casa de Santa Comba is absolutely lush. The staff are very relaxed and flexible, having to arrive late was no problem, and they were very accommodating of us at breakfast as were vegetarian and there aren’t many vegetarians in Portugal! They were also very accommodating when we requested a fridge for our wine. The building and surrounding estate is beautiful, with lots of animals around – geese, horses, dogs, swallows, fish in the ponds – and lots of lemon trees bursting with fruit and beautiful flower bushes everywhere. A dreamy place, would love to stay here again. Will miss the bright morning song of the canary in their office which you can hear from the breakfast room!

The most important thing — this is not really spa hotel. There is spa center across the road, but the only one benefit that you have as a guest of the hotel is 10% discount. In total if you want to have a spa, you must pay extra 30 euros per person per day. I think its not so fare for guests. And the second thing is that you have only scrambled eggs and bacon as a hot dish for the breakfast.
In the rest moments — everything is fine, staff is friendly, room was clean (but there is no fridge or mini-bar, that strange).

The water was very low, and either it was very hot or cold the middle term was difficult, the corridor was very low in the rooms.

Delighted to stay at this hotel close to University Campus (though I was not a student). Was an actual hotel from a Spanish hotel chain not a ”B&B” so don't be fooled.
Close proximity to Historical Guimares and castle.
Free coffee 24/7 at lobby.
Staff was informative and helpful.
Building located slightly up the hill with about 15 free parking spaces.

The hotel is spotlessly clean, and the staff is very friendly and professional.
The reception is open 24/7, and the entire hotel smells wonderfully fresh.
The breakfast is excellent; you'll want for nothing.
The location is central, right between the stadium, the city center, and all the wonderful cultural attractions.
It's a three-star hotel, so don't expect a gym, pool, or spa.
I would recommend renting a car at the airport (for a small fee) because the sights aren't all that close together.

Only 2 repairs: air conditioning does not have remote control and it ceased to work on the second night and the TV image is enormously faulted.

Guest UserThe hotel is in an excellent location. Very central. However, the room needs refurbishment. It needs painting. The curtains need replacing as they have holes in them. They only provided one towel per person, which had to be used as a face towel and a bath towel.
