Lovely modern hotel. Clean and best of all pet friendly. Close to the center of down town Lexington and close to the airport and horse park.
Our room had a great view of an historic horse barn. If you love horses it would definitely be a treat to see that view.
There was no shampoo in the rooms and one member of staff was openly rude about a customer they were dealing with on the phone. Unprofessional from this particular staff member, but all other members of staff were polite and profession in manner.
Over all, a lovely stay, and would be happy to stay again.
Second time staying up here. Very nice hotel. The only negative was you could hear a door shutting not sure which one but super loud and happened on and off throughout the night and day! Also fyi there is a parking charge of $17.00. All the staff was extremely nice check in and out, cleaning attendants and especially the bartenders.
The design is similar to the Tru hotel I have stayed in before, the lobby is spacious, with comfortable tables and chairs, beautiful Christmas trees and decorations, and 24-hour hot water and coffee supply. The room was clean, comfortable and reasonably designed, and the shower had hooks for hanging clothes. The front desk was very friendly.
The front desk ladies were very nice and accommodating when we had plumbing issues and got us into a new room ASAP!
The building is in remodel but the remodeled side we stayed in was very nice!
Everyone was extremely friendly, our room was clean, they leave a cute little duck on the bathtub which I think is a cute idea especially if you have little ones. It’s in a great area lots of restaurants and stores around and easy access to get back to the freeway. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
Very nice, pleasant hotel, located in a part of the city where there are a lot of restaurants and shops. Cleanliness ok. Breakfasts unfortunately poor, especially compared to the standard in similar class hotels in Europe. But ok, this is the US, a slightly different approach to the customer. ;-)
To sum up - considering the relationship between price and quality, I recommend this hotel.
The hotel was gorgeous. The river view rooms were awesome and roomy. The indoor pool with the glass windows and fire pits outside were amazing as well as the Staff and the restaurant/bar!
The hotel rooms are comfortable, clean and sanitary, making people feel at ease to stay. Very suitable for work, vacation and leisure. The environment is also very quiet.
The front desk staff is very good and friendly.
The location of the hotel is very good and the transportation is convenient
The Wi-Fi provided by the hotel is also stable.
Very Good

MMareaHarrisNICE LOCATION, NICE SPACIOUS ROOM, WE LOVED THE HAPPY HOUR AND APPETIZERS AND JUST A BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO STAY. VERY COMFORTABLE BED (PILLIOSW NOT SO MUCH) SHOWER GOT REALLY HOT WHICH WE REALLY APPROECIATED. ONLY ISSUE FOR US IS THAT WE DID HAVE A PET SMELL THAT WAS UNBEARABLE AT TIMES BUT THEY SAID THEY DONT BELIEVE OUR ROOM HAD A PET IN THERE BEFORE OUR STAY. I HAVE BAD ALLERGIES AND SNEEZED ALL NIGHT LONG
ZZHIGUOLocated in the small town of Paducah, in the heart of the United States, near the river on the Mississippi River, the hotel is overlooked by the Ohio River. The hotel is located in Kentucky, across the river from Illinois. The hotel is very clean and the town is quiet and suitable for rest. The only thing that is not very convenient is that there is no place to shop or eat near the hotel, and the food at the hotel is very simple.
SShawn CruzeI was going to chalk up my experience as an isolated incident and let it fade away.
That was until I received a phone call last evening around midnight! A rep. from Trip calling me asking about for my input concerning my stay at this hotel. I relayed to her that I had called Trip.com a couple of months ago right after a friend and I rented a room.
We rented a room around 5pm or so. I had expressed that the power in our room - the TV, Lamps, Microwave, Frig., did not work. We put a complaint into the front desk around 6pm. Issue was not resolved until later on, around 10pm approx. About an hour after that is bedtime so 95% of watching TV, microwaving, etc, was wiped out.
When I put the call into Trip,.com a couple of months ago, I received no follow up, until last night. Last night the caller wanted feedback about my room. I went over everything that had occurred. She also wanted input on how they could improve. I said, it's very simple, just focus on basic customer etiquette and satisfaction. At no point has any type of recognition been expressed concerning my loss of enjoyment of here said hotel stay.
Customer service/satisfaction is becoming non-existent .
GGuest UserWe’ve stayed here before and we really like this hotel! It is decorated in a beautiful modern design, always clean, always friendly and helpful staff. It is very close to restaurants, grocery stores, etc. Erlanger has about anything you could want from a smaller city without the crazy traffic. But you’re close enough to Newport, Covington, Cincinnati that it’s a fairly quick drive anywhere in the metro area. Breakfast has many hot items to choose from. Very nice hotel and we will very likely stay there again in the future.
GGuest UserNice hotel that presents well. It's not in a ”bad” part of town, per se, but it also felt a little more industrial around it than expected.
Doesn't have a distinct ”hotel smell” that's usually tied to chlorine or cleaners. Amenities were nice and the room was clean. Someone had pooped on the side of the pool when we had arrived, although that wasn't any fault of the hotel. It was promptly closed for the night and reopened the next morning. Staff was friendly and we can't say there were any real snags.
It was a little strange that we booked a room with a king bed and pull-out sofa bed for 4 people, yet upon arriving to the room, there wasn't any linen or pillows for the pull-out sofa. We had to ask for linen, and it was promptly delivered to our room, it just seemed off that we booked the room clearly for 4 people and didn't have the linen for it.
HHendrick2952A standard express hotel with standard configurations. The scenery near the hotel is really wonderful. The Ohio River separates Kentucky and Ohio. The hotel is actually located in New Port, Kentucky, across the river from Cincinnati. The purple iron bridge connecting the two floors in the middle is very beautiful. The sunset is very beautiful. The seafood restaurant opposite the hotel provides coupons. If you show the hotel room card, the dining experience at the riverside restaurant is very good.
GGuest UserVery nice room and very good service. I booked the wrong room apparently but the front desk worker Josh new what I was looking for (cause we had called before booking online ) and he left a note for them to keep that room available for us for when we arrived . Appreciated the extra step . ❤️
MMichaelWe absolutely loved our stay at Staybridge Suites Lexington South. Everything was spotless from the moment we walked in — super clean rooms and common areas. The location was convenient and peaceful, close to everything we needed without being in the middle of chaos.
The staff was incredibly kind and helpful every step of the way, and you could tell they genuinely cared. The amenities were top-notch — the kitchen in the suite was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the free breakfast was actually good (not just filler). We felt right at home, and it was perfect for our family.
Would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling through Lexington.
GGuest UserWe had above excellent service. The ladies and gentleman at the front desk were so friendly and nice. The sheets on the bed were so clean and crisp that you could smell the freshness. Breakfast was also great. This will be our choice of stay when coming in for the holidays to visit family.
