3-Star Hotels in Bukhara Region, Uzbekistan

Overall, I'm very satisfied with the value for money. I'd like to highlight three things that stood out. First, the location is excellent for exploring the Old City. If you get too hot and tired while sightseeing, you can easily pop back to your room to cool down. Also, the room is spacious and clean for the price. Walking around town, I noticed everywhere that Uzbek people really value cleanliness. Finally, the staff's hospitality is wonderful. If you can speak a little English, they'll happily help you with various requests. Some might say the breakfast has limited options. But honestly, you'll be eating plenty of meat and fats out for lunch and dinner anyway. Perhaps it's best to stick to just fruit for breakfast. During my stay, a glass partition was installed between the toilet and shower, so the issue of a wet bathroom floor is no longer a problem. Lastly, whether you use Yandex or Google Maps, they tend to show narrow alleys that cars can't actually enter. This isn't just a hassle for the driver, but also means you end up walking from an inconvenient spot. It's best to just set your destination to the nearest bus stop to the Old City from the beginning.

I decided to stay at Dunyo Palace as it had a swimming pool and was great value for money. Getting to Dunyo Palace was very easy on public transport as I caught bus no 33 from the centre of Bukhara straight to the outside of the hotel. It was easy. I have stayed at Dunyo palace before and I had a great stay. My room was bigger than expected with a fridge, air conditioning and a kettle. I was greeted by the nice reception lady she was very helpful. I had breakfast and it was a buffet with a large selection of Uzbekistan breakfast foods. An omelette was freshly prepared for me in the mornings. The hotel pool was really nice to swim in after a long day walking around sight seeing in Bukhara. I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel and I will stay again in the future. The images I share are of the room I stayed in on my departure, the air conditioning, and the bathroom area. We had two fantastic days here and were really blown away by the hospitality. The room was super spacious and spotless. The interior is gorgeous – you can tell they've thought of every little detail. I had a couple of requests during our stay, and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They even gave us great tips on where to try authentic Bukhara plov and some really delicious shashlik. Breakfast was amazingly varied and tasty – everything was freshly prepared, and we absolutely loved it. The location is perfect too – just a 5-minute walk to the Ark Citadel, with convenience stores nearby and a big market where you can find absolutely everything, from souvenirs and clothes to fresh fruits and veggies. And on top of that, it's honestly the best value for money you could ask for. Highly recommend!

If anyone is wondering where to stay in Bukhara, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The location, hospitality, cleanliness, food, and security were all top-notch. In particular, the room's interior design was so beautiful that it really made me feel like I was traveling in a wonderful city. I also requested a room with a bathtub, and they provided a very spacious one where I could comfortably stretch my legs. All the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and if I ever have the chance to visit Bukhara again, I will definitely book this place.

The overall experience was good, but the overall facilities are a bit old (perhaps this is the standard in Uzbekistan), and it is a bit difficult to carry luggage without an elevator. The service attitude is polite but not very enthusiastic. It should be noted that you need to pay an additional tourist tax of about 50 RMB to get the small white receipt, and you must pay in cash, which is different from what was written on Ctrip. I am a bit speechless.

The location is excellent, just a 5-minute walk to Lyab-i Hauz Plaza, which is very convenient. Since most of Bukhara's tourist attractions are concentrated around Lyab-i Hauz, it was an ideal spot for sightseeing. There's a convenience store right nearby, making it easy to grab water and snacks. In my room, the shower water was quite lukewarm, which felt a bit chilly. Also, the bath towels were stiff and rough. The breakfast was delicious and offered a satisfying variety. I stayed during the hot summer, and since I had some time before my train, they kindly extended my check-out time by a few hours for free, which was a great help.

The location is fantastic. You can walk to all the main spots in the city, which means you can visit them multiple times throughout the morning, afternoon, and evening. There's a small convenience store right across the street from the hotel where you can get anything from drinks to various goods. The in-room air conditioning cools down to a very refreshing level. Cold AC is a lifesaver when it's hot, haha! The bed and bathroom are also clean. If you request laundry service, they'll even wash and dry your clothes for you. Unusually for a hotel in this price range, there's a refrigerator in the room, along with green tea and black tea bags, so you can enjoy a hot cup of tea or chill drinks you've bought outside. The service is great, and I was very happy with breakfast. Thank you!

A wonderful place to stay in Bukhara! ❤️ We recently stayed at Samarqand Darvoza and were very pleased with our choice. The hotel left an exceptionally positive impression. First and foremost, I want to highlight the cleanliness — the room was very tidy, clean, and cozy. After busy walks around Bukhara, it was especially pleasant to return to a comfortable room. The staff deserves special thanks 🌸 All employees were polite, friendly, and attentive; we felt genuine hospitality. And the breakfasts — that's a love all its own! ☕️🥐 Everything was delicious, fresh, and hearty, an excellent way to energize before exploring the city. Thank you, Samarqand Darvoza, for the warm welcome and pleasant atmosphere! If we find ourselves in Bukhara again, we will definitely choose this hotel. We gladly recommend it! ⭐️

receptionist was nice, and helpful upon check in. we received rooms in the first floor so dont have to carry the luggage up using stairs. dont have elevator but the staff will assist you for your luggages. AC making noise several times, but it’s not critical. experienced 2 times 1 minutes blackout but its not hotel faults as its related to the city electric consumption. near to supermarket, 600m walking distance.

Good mini hotel, friendly administrators. A minking happened, it is not clear for whom reason, but it is all ruined. There are breakfasts, cooking cashes, eggs, standard sausage cutting, east sweets, tea/coffee. If you stay at 2-3 night will not be tired if more, a lot of places where you can eat and even drink delicious coffee. The street is a little noisy, with a sensitive sleep. The mattress is as tough as everywhere in Uzbekistan. The fen is not in every room, but on request brought, hm, former. In general, everything was nice, I recommend. Not expensive and pleasant. If you buy the cheapest fans for all rooms and sleep pepper in the peppers, there will be 11 out of 10.
