It was just good for the night spent the host were so good and helpfull.Just didnt like the fact that l was asked what time l am comfortable to come for my breakfast and they did record and when l got in for breakfast l was told l am late l should come 10 mins earlier than the time and noone had indicated that to me and was even told that next time don't be late when l know l was not late l came the time l booked.

Pros: First of all the service I got from the receptionist was really good, she had someone carry my bags to the room and the location of the hotel is close to the airport which is very convenient for traveling after your stay. Cons: The room had a strong smell of paint, it was so bad I couldn't even breathe as all the windows were closed upon my arrival. The pillow cases in the bedroom didn't look clean to me I used my clothes to lay my face on because it was just nasty. The shower is not convenient to use, it's too small and you cannot move the shower head to a desired position. There was no fan or airconditioner in the bedroom, it was really hot. The furniture is outdated, some couches with holes in them it's a mess Overall, I will not sleep here ever again! The money charged is clearly just for being close to the airport because it is too much for that room.

All was well, the place was good. Good service from the front desk. But as a traveler with limited luggage there are some things we need eg. shower caps, bottled water, hair dryer.

Review for OR Tambo Guest House I recently stayed at OR Tambo Guest House for three nights and had a great experience. Since my flight arrived very late at night, the staff kindly suggested a driver to pick me up, which was incredibly thoughtful and made my arrival stress-free. The guest house was impeccably clean (5/5), and the service was excellent (5/5) – the staff was friendly, accommodating, and attentive throughout my stay. The location was convenient (4/5), being close to the airport, though not much else is within walking distance. The amenities were decent (4/5), offering all the basics I needed for a comfortable stay. While the aesthetic wasn’t my favorite (3/5), it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Breakfast had limited options, but I wasn’t upset about it – it was enough to start the day. Overall, it’s an affordable place to stay, offering great value for the price. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a clean and convenient spot near OR Tambo Airport.

They lie and said I booked a smoking room, I insisted that I didn't since I have sinuses. The lady that was at reception forced the smoking room on me and said they don't have any rooms available. I thought the room wasn't bad but when I got there, the smell was terrible, I couldn't take it. I went over to ask for my refund as my email stated the room I booked wasn't. They gave me the room which means they were lying, I don't know if they were profiling me or what.

Its strategically located and the food was very good and we managed to have papu (sadza) which made us to feel at home. The kitchen staff was professional when we made our request for our dinner and also for our packed breakfast. The check in and out process was very smooth.

I enjoy every moments of my stay. The facility were very clean and neat. I’ll definitely recommend it to anyone who needs accommodation in around Johannesburg

Amazing hospitality

Within walking distance from the airport international terminal , rooms were big enough for suitcases and packing - needs a little more updating on the TV (non smart) and toilet facilities The best part is that they have a water dispenser at the common area -filtered water was tasty !

The service was very excellent.I was welcomed with warm hands and it was no fuss very easy to go and come to my room.Facilities were working although I had my hopes high thinking Netflix works however it’s not a fuss .I enjoyed the food ,was very very delicious and nice 🥰.A very beautiful view surely I’ll come back next time  What I was disappointed at Was my door being stuck and unable to open which I think it jammed !!Had to wait about 30 min for my door to open and I didn’t see any full toiletries however I req one but came just like that and took forever to arrive .
