135***16Gulangyu Island is predominantly mountainous, boasting natural landscapes such as reefs and rocky outcrops. Its coastline is winding and surrounded by the sea. The climate is warm and humid year-round, with mild winters and cool summers. Major attractions on Gulangyu include Sunlight Rock, Shuzhuang Garden, and Haoyue Garden.

M36***02We visited with family, entering twice through two different gates (one of which was a complimentary ticket from the hotel). The gate near the Xiamen Hotel was closer to the cactus and rainforest area. I visited it many years ago and had a great time then, but now, perhaps because there are so many botanical gardens in China, it just felt average.

_We***65As expected, the 4-5 pm time slot is the most popular, but the view is definitely worth it. After exchanging your tickets on the second floor, you can start queuing. It's best to arrive about 20 minutes early for your desired time slot, as it takes about 10 minutes to get from the tree-lined side to the Petronas Towers side.

不羁的云朵雨季节yhqCycling or driving around the island is highly recommended, especially the northern route (Longwangtou - Changjiang'ao - Northern Ecological Corridor) and the southern route (Longwangtou - 68 Nautical Mile Scenic Area - Tannan Bay). • The island has strong ultraviolet radiation, so be sure to take precautions against sunburn (sunscreen, hat, sunglasses). • Some experiences are affected by weather and tides (such as watching "blue tears" and hiking), so it is recommended to check the latest information before traveling. In short, Pingtan Island offers magnificent natural scenery, a rich historical heritage, and a wealth of modern activities.

120***76I've been to Wuyishan twice and highly recommend it. It truly lives up to its reputation as a World Heritage Site, a National Park of China, and one of China's Top Ten Famous Mountains. Although the scenic area is large, the shuttle buses are quite convenient, making the visit less tiring. We drove there and stayed in the city center, where the hotels were great value for money.

Anonymous userHulishan Fortress retains its majestic century-old appearance, with its Krupp cannons still awe-inspiring. The weathered stone walls stand tall and unwavering, overlooking the Xiamen-Kinmen Strait. The fortress museum, 4D cinema, and Qing Dynasty military drills intertwine to create an immersive historical panorama, while VR interaction adds a novel touch. Tickets are affordable, and combined tickets are convenient. However, the exhibits are somewhat limited and maintenance is slightly lacking. It's especially beautiful for taking photos at dawn and dusk, and the nighttime light and shadow effects are romantic. Combining education, sightseeing, and family fun, it's a must-visit, lesser-known classic in Xiamen.

M46***25The scenic area is like a large public park, perfect for local residents to hike and exercise. The scenery is rather ordinary; the only notable features are the Laozi Rock statue at the foot of the mountain and the stupa containing the relics of Master Hongyi. Free admission would be fantastic, but the full-price ticket offers only so-so value.

320***83Staying in a traditional earthen building with modern facilities, it's comfortable, pleasant, and elegant. The butler provides attentive one-on-one service, always ready to assist. It's a rural tourism experience that meets modern five-star service standards. I would definitely recommend it to friends!

_We***79My child was so excited about the whale specimen, and was immediately overwhelmed by its sheer size. He cried... a true example of "Lord Ye's love of dragons" (a Chinese idiom meaning someone who professes to love something but is actually afraid of it)... hahaha. The guide was incredibly gentle and patient, and I thoroughly enjoyed the explanations! A million thumbs up!

Anonymous userThe filming location for "Big Fish & Begonia" features several distinctive large earthen buildings, perfect for taking photos. It's actually a village, quite pleasant to stroll around in, and many original inhabitants still live there, giving it a very natural feel.
