š Mdina, Malta ā The Silent City That Feels Like a Movie Set āØ
Stepping into Mdina felt like walking through a medieval storybook. With its honey-colored limestone buildings, narrow winding streets, elegant doorways, and peaceful atmosphere, itās easy to see why this place is called the Silent City.
One of my favorite things was simply wandering without a map. Every corner revealed beautiful architecture, hidden courtyards, charming balconies, and breathtaking views over the Maltese countryside. Since cars are rarely allowed inside the city walls, the quietness makes the experience even more magical.
If youāre visiting Malta, I highly recommend coming in the late afternoon and staying until sunset. The golden light makes the entire city glow, and as the crowds begin to leave, Mdina becomes even more enchanting.
⨠Tips:
šø Wear light-colored outfitsāthey look amazing against the warm limestone walls.
š¶ Take your time exploring the side streetsāyouāll find the best photo spots away from the main square.
š
Stay for sunset if you can. The atmosphere is unforgettable.
ā Rating: 10/10
ā° Recommended visit: 2ā3 hours (or longer if you love photography and history)
