    FAQs

    • What on-board services do Ouigo have?

Free services include more space per seat, toilets, kids stroller and two pieces of hand luggage. Additional services may come at an extra cost, including WiFi, power sockets, extra baggage and more.

    • Can I take my bike on a Ouigo train?

Yes! If you fold or disassemble your bike and store it in a suitable carrying case, you are welcome to bring it along.

    • Why are Ouigo train tickets so cheap?

Because there are only standard seats available and onboard catering services are not provided. The usual amenities found on regular trains are considered additional offerings here. What you can get for free are a regular standard seat and two pieces of hand luggage. These reasons have all contributed to the affordability of Ouigo ticket prices.

    • What happens if my Ouigo train is delayed?

If you arrive over 1h late, we’ll send an email telling you exactly how long the delay was and how much refund to expect within a few days of your journey.

We issue refund vouchers as follows:

      1. 25% of the total cost of your ticket (excluding options) if your arrival was 1h–1h 59m late
      2. 50% of the total cost of your ticket (excluding options) if your train arrived late by 2h or more

Within 3 days, you’ll receive your OUIGO vouchers at the email address you entered when you booked your journey.
