Staying in Brampton's city center, waking up to gentle sunlight and the red and orange maple leaves outside the window is unbelievably beautiful, healing both body and mind every moment. This trip had no complicated sightseeing check-ins; all I needed was to stay at the Airbnb, and stepping out of the door was already a stunning view. Driving here was incredibly hassle-free. What surprised me the most was the abundance of maple trees around the accommodation. On sunny days, the maple leaves were as vibrant as a photographer's color palette, and every casual photo felt like a postcard of Canada's autumn.

The Royal Ontario Museum's glass spire, like a crystal drill bit stuck into an old building, was rather jarring. Inside, in the Egyptian gallery, a mummy lay sprawled, its shroud torn in several places, the accompanying sign barely legible. Dinosaur skeletons reached the ceiling, and children craned their necks, babbling excitedly. In the Chinese gallery, several Buddha statues were missing arms and legs, their colors faded, which ironically added to their charm compared to those in good condition. When my legs were aching from walking around, I discovered a mineral display case in a corner; the various stones glittered under the lights, and I squatted there for a while, gazing at them. When I came out, the sun was blinding, and the steps were filled with people eating sandwiches.
YoYo_1I8Q7O5OCasa Loma Castle, from a distance, looks like a pile of toy blocks, its gray stone walls covered in vines, some windows dark and empty. Inside, the corridors are long and dark, the rows of armored soldiers still seem to carry the smell of rust. The old horse-drawn carriages in the stables have crooked wheels, their shafts covered in dust. The rooftop terrace is too windy to stand on; the city of Toronto stretches out below, a hazy gray expanse. An old man sits on a bench, flipping through a newspaper, the wind rustling the corners of the pages. When I came out, the sky had overcast, and the castle looked even older under the gray clouds.
YoYo_1I8Q7O5OOnline ticketing is convenient; staff simply scan the code for entry, saving you the hassle of foreign currency cash and credit card fees. The museum is fantastic; one day isn't enough to see everything. I caught the Monet exhibition and saw over a dozen original works, as well as Rembrandt pieces, various European sculptures, and exquisite handicrafts.
Anonymous userI specifically set aside half a day for the CN Tower during my trip. The elevator ride was short, and I was quickly ascended to the top. Standing on the observation deck, holding onto the glass, I looked down at Lake Ontario, which resembled a sapphire nestled beside the buildings. The wind blew, casting shadows of clouds across the road. I quietly watched the city breathe for twenty minutes, and suddenly even the distance felt warm. This tower climb became the most peaceful memory of my trip. 🌆
YoYo_1I8Q7O5OHours to spend: 3-4 hoursLOVE THEIR UNDERWATER TUNNEL! Recommend to plan this visit after your visit at CN tower or Cruise. Very educational experience that shows you the aquatic life in Canada’s waters. Very children friendly and accessible to those with disabilities. Gift shop have very unique items, NO ENTRANCE FOR PUBLIC. So do check things out before you leave.
xiaorennnnI had a good experience after two days of visiting. The park facilities were well-maintained with no obvious signs of age or damage, and the staff were friendly and responsive. Waiting times for rides were manageable; on weekdays, you could usually get on within half an hour. While the food prices were on the higher side, the portions were generous and the taste was decent.
YoYo_1I8Q7O5OThe University of Toronto building was a drab gray, covered in vines, some windows were dark and gaping. Students lay sprawled on the lawn, sunbathing, their backpacks tossed aside. Passing through the archway, the lettering on the stone wall was worn smooth to the touch. A squirrel darted out of a trash can, snatching a potato chip. A guitarist sat on the steps of the library, playing a languid tune. Turning out, across the street was the Chinatown sign, bright red, a stark contrast.
YoYo_1I8Q7O5ORecommended Day to Visit: SATURDAY On weekends there are flea market beside the main building. pretty cool to check it out for handcrafted goods. The market itself has lots of awesome goodies like sweets and snacks to taste from. Very local and very friendly store keepers. DO BRING CASH!! Not all stores accept card payments.
xiaorennnnBrampton is absolutely worth visiting, offering abundant natural scenery, cultural attractions, and unique experiences.
You can explore historical and cultural attractions like Hindu Sabha Mandir and Sri Katpaga Vinayagar Hindu Temple, admire natural scenery like Heart Lake Conservation Park and Eldorado Park, and experience exciting local activities like The Rose Brampton and Lester B. Pearson Memorial Theatre.
