Valley of Rocks in Lynton UK
The valley is grazed by wild goats, which roam the grassy slopes and negotiate the cliffs with ease.
The rock formations that line the lower valley make for fantastic photo opportunities and are reminiscent of parts of Dartmoor.
The South West Coast Path east to Lynmouth is a spectacular walk, though the sheer drops are a little scary.
Fortunately, the paved surface means it's not too challenging to negotiate.
There's plenty of parking at different points along the valley, public toilet facilities and a cricket ground.
Benches at intervals allow you to stop and admire the views.
