AAnonymous User: First time in Miami and I picked a great hotel! The view is stunning, and the staff are incredibly friendly. They proactively helped me with my luggage, carrying it up and down, and even refused a tip. Thank you so much! Amazing, amazing, amazing!

GGuest User: The most important thing is that when I checked out, I had to charge my vacation tax repeatedly. I showed them the details of the order email, but they still insisted on collecting it. In the end, I had to call the order platform to solve the problem.

Llwhhill: This hotel is great for young singles on business trips or couples traveling together. The rooms are a bit small but well-equipped, and the breakfast is surprisingly good (they even have smoked salmon!). The lobby is always bustling with young people working on their laptops. It's located right in a business district with plenty of restaurants, and the light rail station (which is free!) is just a 100-meter walk away. There are many sushi places nearby, though they are quite expensive. Be warned about rush hour traffic in the mornings and evenings! Overall, it's a solid 5-star experience.

GGuest User: The bathroom in room 418 is the smallest one i have ever seen The. Front of the toilet to the front of the sink is about 14” in between the 2. The side of the toilet is about 14” from the door. If you drop something you have to open the door and step out to get it. Uncomfortable and hard to use. I’m not a large person. Location is great

It's also a newly opened hotel Located on Jomtien Beach in Pattaya— The Standard, Pattaya📍 Unlike traditional Thai hotels, The Standard is stylish with a strong sense of design. It has both the vibrant, lively vacation atmosphere of Miami and a Wes Anderson-esque style, with bold, intense color blocking and neat, comfortable compositions. Taking great photos is just too easy here. The hotel has an exclusive private beach. This area of the sea has many people kitesurfing. The feeling of riding free is truly wonderful🏄🏻♀️ There are also two pools in the hotel. The main pool facing the beach is also the most popular spot for photos. Bright color blocking makes it easy to take stunning vacation photos. The other one is Mmhmmm, an exclusive pool for adults only. It features a mud bath, ice bath, and sauna. I tried the signature mud bath. First, they massage your whole body with a scrub, then I chose the pink mud, which is known for its brightening properties. After sunbathing for a bit, I washed it off after half an hour. My skin felt soft and smooth, nice❣️ As usual, let's talk about the dining options at the end🍽️ 🌞Breakfast Mostly buffet, with some à la carte options. There are plenty of choices at the buffet, and it's updated daily, so you won't get tired of it easily. 🌮Mexican restaurant Esmé Located right by the beach, it's semi-open-air, making it very comfortable for enjoying the sea view. The signature beef tacos are ordered by almost every table. The beef is medium-rare and very tender. 🍲Thai restaurant Sereia If you want authentic Thai food, you can come here. The Tom Yum Goong, curry, and Pad Thai are all well-prepared. The flavors are also suitable for most people.

Standing in Surfside since 1930, The Surf Club weaves the blue of the Atlantic, the gold of old Florida, and the serenity of Four Seasons into a slow poem. This is not the bustling Miami Beach, but a secluded coastal sanctuary embraced by palms at the north end of Collins Avenue. 🏖️ The Setting · 900 feet of white sand The hotel boasts approximately 900 feet (274 meters) of pristine white sand beach. Three modern towers modestly recede to the sides of the 1930 Mediterranean Revival club, not competing with the ocean view, but framing it. Wake up to a panoramic view of the Atlantic, and at dusk, ride a complimentary bicycle along the beach path or take an electric MOKE to watch the sunset turn the sea into champagne gold. 🏛️ Design · Light where old meets new Pritzker Prize winner Richard Meier uses minimalist white volumes to reflect the sky and sea, while Joseph Dirand weaves a "nostalgic yet contemporary" serenity indoors with light green, sea blue, white marble, travertine, and brass. The old club's vaulted ceilings, colonnades, and hand-painted vine-covered Peacock Alley have been preserved, where the new and old gently shake hands in the shadows of the corridors. 🛏️ Rooms · Sleeping by the waves 77 guest rooms and suites, oceanfront bungalows, and the Marybelle penthouse all feature floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the ocean inside. Dirand-style built-in daybeds, cloud-like bedding, and deep-soaking marble bathtubs dissolve the boundaries between indoors and outdoors. Listen to the waves at night, and wake up to morning light spreading across your linen sheets. 🍸 Dining · Flavors of the golden age The Champagne Bar houses Miami's longest champagne list, surrounded by palms like a parlor for old-world celebrities; The Surf Club Restaurant, helmed by Thomas Keller, recreates the vintage spectacle of steak and tableside Caesar salad; Lido and Lido Terrace offer Italian coastal and Mediterranean flavors, while Winston's on the Beach brings Florida light bites right to the sand. 🏊 Leisure · Three pools and rejuvenation Three pools serve different purposes: an adult quiet pool, a family oasis, and a private cabana pool. Retreat to the Spa with its six treatment rooms, enjoy a Turkish bath, and then lounge in the ocean-view tea lounge. With a kids' club, complimentary bicycles, MOKE, and nearby Bal Harbour shopping, your days and nights are perfectly taken care of. At Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club, time is not filled, but rather smoothed out inch by inch by the seawater. You arrive with the dust of the city, and leave with only the salty breeze and the lingering warmth of champagne bubbles on your clothes.

On Collins Avenue in Mid-Beach, Miami Beach, the blue of the Atlantic Ocean and the subtropical light are captured in a 1955 Seville site reimagined by Ian Schrager. The Miami Beach EDITION is not an ordinary resort but a prose poem that stitches together the bones of Art Deco, the breath of minimalist contemporary style, and the Caribbean night. 🏝️ environment · 3.5-acre oceanfront oasis Set on 3.5 acres of oceanfront land, it features a private white sand beach, shaded palm groves, and garden pools. Just steps from the bustle of South Beach, it keeps the noise outside the door. Morning runs greet the sunrise, and evenings are spent reclining on beach chairs watching the pink and gold sky sink into the horizon. 🎨 design · vintage bones, contemporary soul The original building’s white marble lobby and gold mosaic columns are preserved and reinterpreted by Yabu Pushelberg with light oak, ivory porcelain, and oatmeal fabrics. The exclusive Le Labo scent lingers in the air. There are no clichéd tropical prints, only restrained luxury and barefoot ease. 🛏️ rooms · living in ocean light There are 294 rooms and suites, plus 28 private bungalows and penthouses. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the city, pool, or Atlantic Ocean. Marble rain showers, custom bedding, and teak terrace seating are standard. Some bungalows feature double-level terraces and private plunge pools, returning privacy to the ocean breeze. 🍽️ dining · Jean-Georges’ Latin dream · Matador Room: Chef Jean-Georges leads with a blend of Spanish, Caribbean, and South American flavors. Under a black walnut bar and vintage chandeliers, taste the legendary Arroz con Pollo. · Market at EDITION: A modern food hall with morning coffee, baked goods, and cold cuts reminiscent of a European street corner. · Tropicale: Light bites poolside amid lush greenery, cocktails reflecting the pool’s shimmer. · Matador Bar: Lucien Clergue photography and handcrafted spirits make it the perfect spot for an evening drink. 🎭 entertainment · quiet pools by day, underground club by night Two oceanfront pools—the historic Sundial pool and the tropical Tropicale pool—offer a peaceful setting for yoga and sunbathing during the day. At night, descend to BASEMENT: four bowling lanes, a neon-lit roller rink, and a hidden nightclub create a surreal party in this tropical city. The spa and fitness center, outdoor stargazing movies, and private beach club bring relaxation and revelry together in one seamless experience. Here, the day is a blank canvas of Atlantic light, and the night is dance steps under neon in the basement. EDITION layers the wildness of the beach, the cool of design, the warmth of dining, and the madness of play into a uniquely Miami experience. Stay one night, and you’ll understand why this city captivates.

Yellow Sunflower from London on a business trip and me, who came from Miami for the weekend, met in Philadelphia! At home, there’s a small replica on my fridge that a friend brought back from the Van Gogh Museum in the Netherlands. What a fate that spans thousands of miles 💛🩵 1️⃣ The yellow Sunflower is part of The National Gallery in London, while the blue-background Sunflower belongs to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and is the only one on permanent display in North America. From June to October this year, Philadelphia borrowed the yellow-background Sunflower, creating a historic meeting with the blue one. This is the first time both are exhibited together in the US. Friends nearby definitely shouldn’t miss it! 2️⃣ But what impressed me most was the China gallery on the second floor: the Zhi Hua Temple’s Wan Fo Ge coffered ceiling, originally from Beijing. It’s a Ming dynasty lacquered gold wood carving that was dismantled and sold during the Republic of China era. The entire structure uses mortise and tenon joints. A carved wooden coiled dragon looks down from above, surrounded by eight smaller dragons. Looking up, the museum space feels open and solemn. Three wooden Guanyin statues and Buddhist temple murals: The murals (late Yuan to early Ming dynasty) come from a temple hall in Anyang, Henan. Every time I visit a China gallery overseas and see artifacts from different dynasties or origins gathered in one small collection, I can’t help but feel moved 🥲 3️⃣ Rocky statue: Running up the 72 steps with passersby, with a guy in the middle holding a megaphone like a fitness coach pushing us on. At the top is the famous Rocky bronze statue. There’s also a special exhibition inside the museum honoring the iconic American film Rocky III. 4️⃣ The gift shop that doesn’t make money: As someone who mindlessly buys museum souvenirs, I surprisingly didn’t pick up a single item and only spent $8 on a photo booth 😕 This weekend in Philadelphia, I actually missed the Miami World Cup Bronze Final and encountered haze caused by wildfires. I was a bit annoyed at first, but at this museum, it felt like an interesting arrangement! July 18, 2026 Philly Recommended exhibitions worth seeing

Before coming to Cuba, all the articles I read described “beautiful Havana.” Once here, I realized it is even more beautiful than imagined, and this beauty is perfectly preserved by time. Before coming to Cuba, the information I heard spoke of “the hardships of Cubans.” Only by truly entering their lives did I realize the hardships run deeper than expected. But here, I saw something stronger than hardship — an optimism woven into their blood, a broad-mindedness shaped by trials, a freedom and ease that defy definition. The best way to understand Havana is to stroll through its squares. The “old” here is not decay but elegance wrapped in time, as if the entire city exists in another era. Revolution Square: an era’s belief engraved in the sky Che Guevara, who never held the highest power, has a 30-meter-tall portrait. The impact is not political but a global visual symbol — representing rebellion, idealism, and the spirit of freedom❷. The portrait covers the entire Ministry of the Interior building. The black steel outlines sharply contrast with the concrete walls. Minimalist techniques highlight his determination, focus, and resilience. The five-pointed star on his beret, his furrowed brow, and his gaze into the distance are distilled into a recognizable spiritual totem, also known as the most replicated image worldwide (see image ⓳). Plaza de San Francisco: kindness polished by time Next to the harbor, Plaza de San Francisco was once a hub of wealth and goods. Three sculptures are visible at a glance (images ❹❺❻⓮). Especially the “robe-clad gentleman” (bottom of image ❼), whose beard, fingertips, and shoe tops are polished shiny by people rubbing them for luck and romance. This is not just a landmark but a lasting gesture telling people: no matter how the world changes, some warm comforts are always within reach. Plaza de las Armas: fighting gloom with color and dignity This green-filled place feels more like a park. The most touching sight is not the baroque dome or the weathered stone walls but an elderly woman wrapped in vibrant colors sitting under a tree (cover photo). She holds a cigar with the skill of wielding a scepter. The curling smoke is not decay but a silent declaration: no matter how hard life is, no one can take away this moment’s composure and dignity. I marveled at this unfiltered vitality. When I pointed my camera at her, she simply returned my gaze calmly. With each shutter click, I suddenly understood: this beauty is not a performance but a life force growing from the bone (images ⓭⓲). Old Square: absurdity is life’s remedy Around Old Square, carved arcades and weathered walls frame the scene like ancient paintings. In the shifting light and shadow, I found a fortune teller in a blue dress (bottom of image ❿). She didn’t seem to be soliciting business but waiting for fate in the maze-like streets. The cards in her hand might be another absurd yet charming remedy Cubans use to face life’s uncertainties. There is also a famous bronze statue of a man riding a chicken (top of image ❼). What I saw was not grotesque but the Cuban attitude toward hardship — even with material scarcity, the feast of the spirit never ends. The “five-cent bar” next to Cathedral Square: a toast across time and space Photos and countless visitor signatures cover the bar’s walls like a thick patina of modern society⓫⓬. All of this traces back to the American old-timer who loved his drink — Hemingway. Here is one of his famous quotes: “My mojito is at the five-cent bar.” I have been to his Miami home, and now I order a mojito mixed with rum and mint, as if to clink glasses across time with the tough guy who once stood at the bar drinking. At dusk, the engine of the rose-red vintage car we rode in (bottom of image ⓳) gradually quieted. The Caribbean Sea was dyed violet (image ⓴). I recalled a saying: life must go on, but it should be lived with a touch of poetry.

Harbour Island | Step into the World's Sexiest Pink Sand Beach and indulge in a dreamlike daydream While the Maldives' overwater bungalows are packed with honeymooners, and Bali's beaches are teeming with Instagrammers taking photos, deep in the azure depths of the Caribbean Sea lies an island hailed by Newsweek as having "the world's sexiest beach," waiting for those who prefer a tranquil escape with its three miles of pink sand and crystal-clear Tiffany blue waters. This is Harbour Island. The sand here isn't white, nor is it gold, but a soft, gentle pink. It's like strawberry shaved ice melting on the sand, or like a sunset crumbled and spread across the coastline. It's not a "take a look and leave" attraction, but a place worth flying to the Caribbean to spend an entire afternoon lounging on its pink sand. 📍 Must-Save Before Your Trip | Harbour Island Essentials Overview Harbour Island is located in the Bahamas, adjacent to Eleuthera Island. The island's only town is Dunmore Town, boasting charming colonial-era colorful buildings and winding streets. · 🏖️ Beach Length: Approximately 3 miles (4.8 km) · 🎫 Admission: Free to the Pink Sand Beach · ⏰ Best Season: December to April (dry season, sunny and stable weather) · ⏳ Recommended Trip: 2-3 days (1 day is too rushed, 3 days allow for a truly relaxed pace) · 🏷️ Key Tags: Pink Sand Beach, World's Sexiest Beach, Caribbean Sea, Bahamas, Off-the-Beaten-Path Island ✈️ How to Get There | Fly Halfway Around the World Just for This Touch of Pink Harbour Island isn't easily accessible, but this "inconvenience" has precisely deterred most tourists, preserving its tranquility. Step 1: Fly to Nassau, the Capital of the Bahamas Direct flights to Nassau are available from major cities in the United States (Miami, New York, etc.), Canada, and Europe. Departures from China typically require a transit in the US or Canada. Chinese passport holders enjoy visa-free entry to the Bahamas. Step Two: Nassau → Harbour Island There are two options: ✈️ Small Plane (Recommended! 20 minutes) Take a domestic small plane from Nassau with a local airline such as Southern Air to North Eleuthera Airport (ELH). The journey takes approximately 20 minutes one way, and the round-trip ticket costs approximately US$322 (including taxes). Upon arrival at North Eleuthera Airport, take a taxi to the pier and then transfer to a water taxi, which takes about 5-10 minutes to reach Harbour Island. 🚤 Speedboat (1.5 hours) Take a speedboat from Nassau pier to Harbour Island, which takes about 1.5 hours. It's cheaper, but takes longer, and the sea conditions may be rough. 🚌 Island Transportation Harbour Island is small, and golf carts are the main mode of transportation. Renting a golf cart to explore the island offers the most flexible way to experience it. 🌸 Pink Sand Beach | The Pink Here is Nature's "Girlish Heart" Pink Sand Beach is located on the east side of Harbour Island, facing the Atlantic Ocean. The pink color of the beach is not artificially dyed, but comes from a pink foraminifera. The red or pink shells of this single-celled organism, mixed with white coral sand, have been sculpted by the waves over millions of years, forming this unique pink sand beach. 📸 Golden Rules for Photography · Best Time: Before 10 AM or after 4 PM, the pink color is most pronounced when the sunlight is at an angle, resulting in the softest pink tones. Around 2-3 PM, the pink is most intense under sunlight. Overcast days actually make it easier to capture pink tones, with higher contrast in the sand color. · Outfit Suggestions: White, beige, and light blue are the most photogenic colors on the pink sand beach. A red dress is also a perfect match for the contrasting pink sand. · Must-Shoot Spots: Low-angle shots of the sand texture, portraits against the backdrop of the azure sea, silhouettes at dawn or sunset. 🏨 Accommodation | A Pink Dream Harbour Island's accommodations are primarily high-end boutique resorts and private villas. · Pink Sands Resort: The island's most famous resort, nestled in 20 acres of tropical gardens, boasts 25 independent cottages with direct access to a three-mile-long pink sand beach. The resort features Blue Bar & Kitchen, one of the island's most renowned beachfront restaurants. · Dunmore Town B&Bs: The town also offers more affordable B&Bs and guesthouses within walking distance of the beach and restaurants. 🍜 Harbour Island Culinary Delights | The Sweetness of the Caribbean Harbour Island's cuisine is a fusion of Caribbean seafood and colonial-era flavors. · Conch Salad: The Bahamas' national dish, featuring diced fresh conch meat mixed with lime juice, onions, tomatoes, and peppers—a refreshing and appetizing dish. · Grilled Lobster & Grouper: Caribbean lobster and grouper, known for their firm and sweet flesh. · Sea Grapes: A local specialty seaweed, crisp and refreshing with a salty, oceanic flavor. 💡 Expert Tips | Avoid These Pitfalls for You 1. Best season: December-April. This is the Bahamas' dry season, with sunny and calm weather. June-November is hurricane season, making travel riskier. 2. Book flights and accommodations in advance: Harbour Island has limited capacity, and hotels and domestic flights are in high demand during peak season (December-April). 3. US Dollars are widely accepted: The Bahamian dollar is pegged 1:1 to the US dollar, and US dollars are widely used on the island. Credit cards are accepted in most places, but it's advisable to carry some cash. 4. Rent a golf cart: This is the most flexible and fun mode of transportation on the island. 5. Sun protection is paramount: The Caribbean sun's UV rays are extremely strong; high SPF sunscreen, sunglasses, and a sun hat are essential. 6. Bring plenty of memory cards: The pink sand beaches are so photogenic, you won't be able to stop snapping photos. When the three miles of pink sand shimmer gently in the morning light, when the azure waters of the Caribbean Sea softly lap against the pink sand, when the colorful houses of Dunmore are lit up with warm yellow lights at dusk—you'll understand that some trips aren't about rushing, but about keeping a date with the pink sea. Navigate to "Harbour Island" for a chance to experience the world's most alluring pink paradise. 🌸🏖️

The air in Little Havana is permeated with Cuban charm. In Domino Park, old men clatter dominoes, and the rich aroma of cigars fills the entire street. Vibrant murals adorn the walls, and Latin music wafts from open doors. A bite of a crispy fried pie, sweet guava sauce dripping onto your hand—it's passionate, boisterous, like a never-ending street party.
YoYo_1I8Q7O5OEverglades National Park is a completely different world. A speedboat ride on the Grass River carries the scent of damp earth and vegetation. Alligators float silently on the water's edge like dead trees, while egrets glide across the vast, sea-like swamp. The sun is blazing, yet everything grows silently, possessing a primal and powerful vitality.
YoYo_1I8Q7O5OI didn't think much of it at first, but after visiting Little Havana and coming here, the contrast was astonishing. It's so beautiful, it's like a European castle recreated. The interior is classically elegant and full of historical significance. The garden outside is designed in a European style, with stone carvings, cascading fountains, lawns, and pine walls, all exuding aristocratic charm. This early 20th-century building is well-preserved, and many parts are still under renovation. It's definitely worth a visit.
赵在大道上z16Miami's South Beach is a veritable tropical carnival! The sea is a dazzling blue, volleyballs leap across the sand, and music drifts on the sea breeze. Most iconic is the row of pastel-colored Art Deco buildings, which look like sweet candy boxes under the bright sun. As night falls, neon lights illuminate the area, and the beachfront bars waft Latin melodies and the minty aroma of mojitos. People stroll along the fine sand, drinking from sunset until the stars fill the sky—a vibrant, lively atmosphere, as if summer never ends.
YoYo_1I8Q7O5OMiami Beach is a summer party that never ends. Azure waters contrast beautifully with colorful lifeguard towers, beach volleyballs soar overhead, and ice cream trucks jingle. Art Deco hotels resemble a row of cream cakes, their pink and mint green facades glowing softly in the sunset. As night falls, neon lights flicker, Latin rhythms blare from bars, and the air is filled with the sweet aroma of cocktails mingled with the sea breeze—vibrant, lively, making you want to dance on the sand until dawn.

maccadeathIt's a great place for a family vacation. There are lots of interactive screens and exhibits. At the moment (August 2026), some screens weren't working. The rooms were mostly marine-themed. We weren't able to touch the stingrays, but you can try to touch them at a certain time and only if you can put your hand in the aquarium up to your wrist (people scared the stingrays by splashing their hands in the water). The food in the museum restaurant isn't great.
_TI***2xBay Park always gently embraces the city. The shimmering water reflects the skyline on the opposite shore, yachts rock gently, and people leisurely fish on the dock. At dusk, the sky is tinged with pink and orange, seagulls skim low over masts, and the wind carries a hint of salt. Without the surging of the sea, the bay is more like a quiet haven, making people unconsciously slow down and watch the tide slowly rise from a bench.
YoYo_1I8Q7O5OMiami Harbor is a bustling and vibrant world. Giant cruise ships, like moving castles, slowly dock, cranes busily load and unload containers, and the air is faintly filled with the scent of seaweed and engine oil. The sizzling aroma of Latin snacks wafts from the shore market, and street performers casually play out the passionate rhythms of salsa. There's no leisurely atmosphere like a resort beach here, but it's full of raw and vibrant energy—the horns of cargo ships mingle with conversations in Spanish, the salty sea breeze blows in your face, and everything is real and lively.
