I visited Paris in June to attend Viva Technology (VivaTech), one of the world's largest startup and technology festivals. I chose the Yvette Hotel Porte de Versailles, Sonder, as my accommodation, and it was fantastic for both business and sightseeing, so I'd like to share it with you! ✨ 📍 Location: Perfect location, just a few minutes' walk from the venue The main purpose of this trip was to attend VivaTech, held at Porte de Versailles. The biggest reason I chose this hotel was its convenient location—just a short walk from the venue! Not having to ride the crowded metro in the morning and being able to sip coffee and check emails in my room right up until the event started was the ultimate luxury for a business stay. 🛏️ Room: A relaxing, modern Scandinavian-inspired space The Sonder brand features a highly designed interior. · Design: A modern and warm Scandinavian style with a beige and earth tones. · Workspace: A desk and chair are provided. The Wi-Fi was fast, so I was able to comfortably work through work I had brought home. · Bathroom: The trendy terrazzo (artificial marble) tiles were stylish! It felt clean, and the shower booth was easy to use. · Amenities: The iron and ironing board in the closet was a big plus for businessmen who want to keep their shirts crisp 👔. Of course, you could also enjoy an in-room cafe with the coffee machine ☕️. From the window, you could see the rooftops and greenery of Parisian apartments, making you feel like you were part of local life. 🗼 Visit the Eiffel Tower, a symbol of Paris When you're between work or on the move, you can't help but visit the Eiffel Tower! It's beautiful against the blue sky during the day, but the illuminated "Iron Lady" at night is especially beautiful. It's the moment you really feel like you're in Paris. The cycling scene along the Seine is also picturesque 🚲. 💡 Summary: If you have business near Porte de Versailles, this is the place to stay! "Yvette Hotel Porte de Versailles, Sonder" is definitely recommended for anyone visiting Porte de Versailles for an exhibition or conference. The minimalist, functional room with all the necessities and easy access to the venue made for a comfortable and busy business trip. Recommendations: · Within walking distance of the Porte de Versailles exhibition center · Clean, modern interior (Sonder quality) · Relaxing and quiet environment This is a hotel I'd love to return to on my next business trip to Paris! 🇫🇷✈️ #FranceTrip #Paris #ParisHotel #SonderYvette #VivaTech #BusinessTrip #ParisBusinessTrip #PortedeVersailles #FranceTourism #HotelReview #TravelLog

#travel My 4-day trip to Paris was truly unforgettable! I stayed at Eklo Hotel Paris Porte de Versailles, where the staff were very kind and helpful, making my stay comfortable. The weekly Navigo card was a lifesaver—it covered my trip from Orly Airport and allowed me to travel freely around the city all four days. On my first evening, I headed straight to the Eiffel Tower. Seeing it light up at night and walking along the Seine River was magical—the perfect welcome to Paris. Day 2 was all about culture and history. I visited the Louvre Museum to admire its incredible art collection, including the Mona Lisa, and then walked over to the beautiful Notre Dame Cathedral area, enjoying the atmosphere of the Latin Quarter nearby. Day 3 took me to Montmartre, where I climbed up to Sacré-Cœur for breathtaking views over Paris. The artistic streets of Montmartre were full of charm. Later, I explored the Arc de Triomphe and walked down the Champs-Élysées, soaking in the lively city vibes. On my final day, I kept things relaxed by exploring some local cafés, trying French pastries, and doing a little shopping before heading back to the airport. Overall, my Paris experience was a perfect balance of sightseeing, culture, and relaxation. I’ll always appreciate the memories I made there.
Joining this tour was the best decision I ever made in Paris. Teacher Wu Xue was excellent and very efficient, taking us to almost all the most essential parts of the Louvre. Her explanations were vivid and interesting, and the itinerary was very efficient. In short, I highly recommend it!
Lizzy666Very convenient to book online. Just go 30 mins before your time.
_TI***3dAn absolute highlight of our Paris trip! Going all the way up to the summit of the Eiffel Tower was worth every single penny and a complete must-do when visiting Paris.Once at the top, you are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the entire city. The pinnacle of the whole experience was the champagne toast right at the top—enjoying a glass of chilled champagne with that spectacular view was purely magical.Everything was top-notch and smoothly organized from start to finish. We would book this experience again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Paris!
Trips by CKI came to Paris with my family, initially thinking that seeing the architecture and taking photos at Notre Dame would be enough. However, since we were already there, I decided to try a Chinese-speaking guided tour. This decision proved to be absolutely right. It was probably the most worthwhile guided tour of our entire European trip, as I learned a lot of religious knowledge I didn't know before. The guide, I think his surname was Li, spoke very naturally, not just reading from a textbook, but connecting the history, architecture, religious stories, and development of Notre Dame with the development of Paris, incorporating a lot of information. Many things I initially thought I wouldn't understand became clear after listening. Especially the stories of the sculptures, rose windows, and fire restoration – seeing them after hearing them made all the difference. Europe is full of churches, and not understanding them can be quite frustrating. After today's tour, I felt like I had a sudden enlightenment. There was a small regret, though: some areas inside Notre Dame aren't free and require separate admission. We met at 4:30 PM today, and waited in line for 10 minutes to enter. The pace of the tour was excellent; the content was rich but not tiring, and there was no feeling of being rushed. We could ask questions anytime during the tour, and the guide patiently answered them. He was highly professional and very approachable. Today, after the Notre Dame tour, we also visited the Latin Quarter of Shakespeare and Company. This wasn't part of the tour itinerary, but the teacher gave us extra time for free because we enjoyed it. By the way, you can also pay to climb to the top of Notre Dame, but the kids couldn't climb, so we skipped it... Afterwards, we went back inside Notre Dame on our own and watched a mass. We found that because we had the guided tour, we understood many parts much better than before when we just took photos. If it's your first time in Paris, I highly recommend not trying to see it on your own. Notre Dame is free, but the guided tour is definitely worth it; it significantly enhances the entire experience. It was one of the most worthwhile activities on our trip, and I've already recommended it to anyone planning a trip to Paris. Also, try to go after 4:30 PM, otherwise the square gets very sunny. Also, Notre Dame has a dress code; you can't wear anything too revealing...
Anonymous userI spent only £8 for the sein river cruise. The ticket process is very easy .I booked through Trip.com and got the e-ticket few minutes later. The trip took 1 hours. I can said that it the best experience I ever had. The view is breathtaking and so beautiful.
Anonymous userThe food was mediocre and not worth the price, but the scenery was nice; we saw the entire Seine River in two hours. The service was poor; the set meal included a bottle of wine, and after I finished the first glass the waiter poured for me, it took 20 minutes for them to refill it.
M33***51Would recommend this place, its worth visiting. Everything inside is so beautiful and interesting. Recommend looking at the official website for more ticket prices, could be cheaper.
Pearly LinThe Palace of Versailles was an incredible experience and definitely a highlight of my trip to France. The palace itself is absolutely breathtaking, with stunning architecture, beautiful rooms, and so much history around every corner. The ticketing process was simple, and the ticket was easy to use for entry into all the main areas of the palace. We were able to explore comfortably without any problems. The only downside was that some parts of the gardens were under construction during our visit, so we couldn’t fully experience the gardens at their best. However, this did not take away from the overall experience. Versailles is still a must-see destination and a place I would highly recommend visiting.
TarynI would recommend for everyone. The view is amazing and it had a lot of space up there for the people. Being open until late also makes it an easy evening spot to see the sunset in Paris.
Igor_op99The Musée de l'Orangerie is a small yet significant art institution in Paris, with Monet's monumental "Water Lilies" as its central attraction. An immersive "Water Lilies" experience: Two oval galleries on the first floor were designed specifically for the eight "Water Lilies" paintings donated by Monet in his later years. Natural light streams in from above, extending along the curved walls, creating a tranquil atmosphere where light and shadow intertwine with the water's surface—a setting often described as the "Sistine Chapel of Impressionism." The Impressionist treasures on the lower level: The underground galleries house works by masters such as Cézanne, Renoir, Matisse, Picasso, and Modigliani, offering a rich contrast to the serenity of the upper floors. Overall assessment: The museum is relatively small, taking approximately 1-2 hours to see everything. Visitor density is typically lower than the Louvre and the Musée d'Orsay, making it ideal for a quiet and contemplative experience. Advance online ticketing is recommended, and a combined ticket with the Musée d'Orsay is also suggested.
