What travelers say:
Yes, this is a restaurant with a romantic name. Genkai Sushi is located on the second floor of Wangfu Building on Fuxi Street. There is a parking lot, but the restaurant does not cover the parking fee. The big door, entering the restaurant, is bright and typical Japanese decoration; sit down, appetizers are served, the tableware is exquisite and elegant, very in line with Japanese characteristics.
There are several dishes that must be ordered when eating Japanese food.
[Sashimi platter] The thick-cut salmon is very plump, slightly thinner than the Arctic scallops; the sweet shrimp is very tender, but the author is more accustomed to eating sweet shrimp sushi. The freshness of the shrimp meat is matched with the sour fragrance of sushi rice, and then hit by the salty and spicy Wasabi, perfect... Lemon juice is added to the octopus to remove the fishy smell, so you can enjoy it directly, which is very special;
[Hand Roll] I ordered a lobster hand roll and a French baked lobster roll. It was mysterious and embarrassing that I couldn’t tell the difference between the two... But the content of each hand roll is still very rich, and the appearance can arouse appetite;
Generally, [Japanese salad] is also one of the first choice salads for fitness parties. Japanese vinaigrette will add ginger and soy sauce to enrich the taste on the basis of Western style, which is also very refreshing and burden-free; unfortunately, this avocado salad is paired with sesame bacon salad dressing, but it does not affect the overall look. You can choose not to put salad dressing like a Virgo;
In fact, the overall calorie content of Japanese food is not high, but it is too cold, which is why Japanese food always has spicy side dishes such as mustard and ginger.
[Japanese barbecue] This restaurant is indeed very attentive in the presentation of the dish. First look at the meat, then change to a small stove to keep warm after roasting. The overall taste of the barbecue is sweet, which is very Japanese, and it feels a little greasy; but the next [Yuzu salmon]... the store... I heard that the sweet taste and roasting method are not very suitable for fish...
I don’t know when it started, Japanese restaurants like to pair sea salt ice cream as dessert. Genkai Sushi also did it, the original cream daifuku, sea salt ice cream, and the last piece of watermelon to relieve greasiness, which is delicate and thoughtful enough.
Maybe it’s because the author just came out of the gym, and it’s really embarrassing to come here. In this state, it feels that the speed of serving and the amount of each dish are not enough.
