IIanetteOur stay was wonderful and the Easter chocolates for Easter Weekend was a nice personal touch. There were some minor issues (LED lightstrip behind headboard flashing constantly) that was immediately reported when we arrived and fixed within the same hour of our arrival. Staff was friendly and helpful, parking was safe (they park and bring out your vehicle when you need it). The only thing (but it wasn't a deal breaker) was the slight damp/mouldy smell in the room, but it's like that everywhere in the area due to the high moisture and humidity in the area. There are however some black mould spots that needs attention, just for the hotel to note - especially on the curtains and in the shower.
Our stay was comfortable and breakfast was good (nice variety daily). Just please note that they do charge ”tourist tax” which wasn't indicated on our booking, Trip.com and the Hotel is responsible to disclose this beforehand.
TThiagoCAWell-located hotel right in front of Pontal Beach, just a 5-minute drive from the bus terminal and a 10-minute walk from Paraty's Old Town. The bed was quite small, and so was the room; however, the bathroom was spacious. The room includes a small fridge, and there's a vending machine at the reception if you need drinks. Overall, you get what you pay for.
Breakfast is served at a beach kiosk directly in front of the hotel. The same kiosk hosts live Brazilian music performances in the evenings, creating a cool and lively atmosphere.
The staff were very friendly, and boat tours can also be booked through the hotel.
AAnonymous UserThe hostel is right by the sea, but the beach isn't really suitable for swimming due to the cleanliness of the water. To the historical city center it is under half an hour by foot. Here also the boat tours to better beaches depart. A small supermarket for the necessary conveniences is nearby.
The pool of the hostel is well maintained and a nice cool off for hot days. The rooms have a good size and are at a good price. The only thing that confused us was that we did not get new soap after 5 days we got by on very small soap bars.
GGuest UserThe hotel is very well located. However, for the price, the rooms could use a bit more maintenance and an update. The mattresses and linens also felt a bit worn out and could be more comfortable. There's no need for unnecessary extras, but a renovation is definitely due.
GGuest UserWhat a little gem! The location was excellent and I even had the girls dorm to myself for 2 days!!
No kichen facilities, but a fridge and a kettle are available. Such friendly staff! Construction going on at present but they are very considerate. The pictures are the view from the balcony of the ladies dorm.
6666manfenWalking to the beach for ten minutes, it is actually less than 1,000 meters because there is a slope but the downhill is fast. The nearby residents belong to the poor. There are more motorcycles. There is a small shop at the entrance of the hotel. It is safe to swipe credit cards. It is not safe to come out at night, but foreigners go out to play in the middle of the night! The balcony of the room is very good. The roof looks at the sea. The breakfast is rich in fruit. The egg kitchen can be cooked. The price is good! Hygiene can be cleaned every day.

Great
GGuest UserEnjoyed our stay! Comfortable bed, clean, good breakfast and helpful reception staff. The hotel is not far from the main bars/shops/restaurants/beach however the last bit of the walk is up a steep hill. Which was fine for us but may not suit some travellers. Thank you :)
GGuest UserVery small room and no minibar or phone to call reception. 220V sockets so you can't dry your hair. They only have 1 adapter to lend and it was already borrowed. Bad service. Coffee costs 57 reais but there isn't enough variety to charge that price.
